- SADLY … I feel that China has already won the ROAD WARS / EV WARS. I say this because of the super fast growth over the last 2/3 years. Only TESLA has kept up. This also affects Petrol variants but I concentrate on Full Electric.
With masses of pressure on all Car manufacturers it’s been a huge learning curve and Billions of Euro, Dollars and pounds spent keep up.
America is resilient but that will be its downfall with its Anti EV forums, groups and TV Media throwing out garbage and FAKE NEWS on a daily basis. This is stopping a lot of potential buyers with the Deniers having a big influence.

You know what’s NOT being discussed in this video? British brands, and their offerings are wholly absent. China, is the whip that keeps labor WORLDWIDE in line. Corporations utilizing communist labor, to keep us poor, is why wages have stagnated and the middle class crumbled. Proud British brands are now just sub brands for multinational conglomerates. Praising China, including China, is a mistake. We should have learned this lesson already with COVID. Immediately corporate interests set to work on keeping labor cowed. Apparently that is more important than national security.
British brands are a very hard find. Jaguar Land Rover, Mini, TVR, Ford, Vauxhall are all foreign owned. What Car brands are you aiming at?
I don't like beating up on Republicans, but,...I think you are correct! Zenith, RCA, Motorola were all TV brands made (manufactured) in the USA. Today, there are no TVs made in the continental US. Ford and GM may go bankrupt. After the iPhone came to market, there were over 20 cell phone manufacturers,...essentially today there are two; Apple & Samsumg (the US and South Korea).
I think KK has it about right on this. America is a very volatile marketplace and is Politically pushed.

Unfortunately, here in the US, I don't foresee EVs taking over anytime soon.
Taking over is not the goal. Not for now. Cutting back with Fossil Fuels for Personal Transport is and will happen. I agree that although the US is one of the biggest Polluters from the Petroleum Industry it will be the hardest to crack.
Unfortunately I think China will destroy its Auto Manufacturing UNLESS mortals on the EV ideals…. before it’s too late. I maybe wrong.
