CRUISES, ULEZ, AIR QUALITY. Climate guilt is a thing! Will you change?

With all the #climate change talk and owning an EV I do seem to take more notice of engines left running, cars smoking badly and the smells from ICE Cars. There is a little GUILT when I spend money on what is a very bad for the #environment than most things… A 12 day CRUISE ! ULEZ is working even if it is costing some of you. Food packaging is bad, Air Quality needs to be good!
Do you as an EV OWNER have any Anxiety around owning an EV or not doing your bit?
Do you mind flying many times a year?

Well said KK, having started with Solar PV on my West facing roof in 2011, I later added another 4kWh on the East face roof and a Tesla Powerwall. Now have been driving an EV for over 3 years as well as fitting an ASHP. We have always cared about food waste and recycling. We are keen to recycle as much as possible. We also use Octopus Energy to support them with using more renewables. Also invested in Ripple Energy to support that effort for wind energy.
I do think a lot about things we do but feel I can justify a return flight to the USA once a year and now spend more time, rather than possible two trips in the year.
I must tell you my new 2 month old Tesla Model 3 RWD was attacked by a Range Rover Evoque that had been parked next to me. It pulled out from my o/s and from 2/3 the way down the drivers door to it's n/s wheel arch scraped along my o/s bumper pulling it away leaving many scrapes and even a hole. it had to reverse before it could drive away. As my car was unattended, the vehicle just drove out of the car park and out of view. Sentry mode saved the day and recorded the whole thing as it had set off my alarm at the time of impact. On a funny note I have been given a LR Tesla Model 3 as a loan and it's number plate ends in KKE, so I thought of you!

Nice one!! We cannot wait to get Solar and Heat pump. I agree, a flight to the USA is fine when you are green doing other things for a better carbon footprint. 👍🏻👍🏻

@@KKandEV Thanks and yes my insurance company have been great in that respect, especially as we have video of the whole thing!Also Range Rover just drove off so reported to the police as well!
