  • With more twists and turns than the world famous River Walk and more faces than the façade of the Alamo San Antonio proudly wears its culture on its sleeve. From modern museums and old world missions to walking tours and architectural wonders, this city is bursting with cultural history, character and charm.

I LOVE SA. The History is rich and the people are beautiful. Food is awesome and the culture is unique. I was up in Oklahoma City and saw what they called "Riverwalk" and was shocked that another city would want to do something that is natural to San Antonio. The OKC Riverwalk is of no comparison to The PASEO DEL RIO!!!!! VIVA SAN ANTONIO!!!!!!!

I love San Antonio! I have been planning to live there for the last 10 years; and finally I will be moving there in a few months and will have my degree. I know the city has its ups and downs like anywhere else, but I trully love this place. I love Alamo Heights, Brackenridge Park, La Cantera, Medical Center, Central Market, the hills and trees, Riverwalk (north, downtow, and south), The Quarry Market...just about everything. I miss it, cant wait to move!

Michael Piseno not when the population is 65% Latino, I've been there many many times and to me the Mexican culture predominates which is why I like your city.

You got a view of SA years ago..now downtown is scary and desolate.........continuous protests and riots daily........broken windows and closed boarded up businesses fearing the looters.........Alamo Plaza is closed and a high fence and barricades to keep looters away and then when you check out you must pay a 17 percent hotel tax-hightest in Texas!
