Without Joey, I do feel like a huge piece of Slipknot is missing. I've had the privilege of seeing them 12 times live, with Joey every time, and they were better than I ever could have imagined each time.
I saw them with Joey while he was still on point (but not at his PEAK), I saw them with Jay once on the prepare for hell tour. He nailed it and had gooood energy but i was still getting used to him being in the band, he brought a new energy to the band imo esp since he’s come into his own
Slipknot was Joey's baby!! He used to run miles to get his legs in the right shape to play the double bass parts in the songs! I think he said once, that they used to practice at his overnight job. He made the "S" logo! I'll admit that I was not going to accept a new drummer, but then discovered that Jay is indeed a fellow maggot himself and is living a huge dream. I accepted him then. Joey is the straight up King💪👑 though. He'll always rule the drum throne🤘❤️ Respect to Joey forever. Love you hun

Joey has been a huge musical inspiration for me and my best friends since we listened to our first Slipknot album at 13yo.. Im 31 now and Ive always appreciated his style and loved listening to him jam on songs! I hope the best for Joey! He was amazinggg LIVE when I saw them play with Metallica about 10 years back in Los Angeles!
When i was 14 years old, i just started playing drums and this dude was someone i was looking up to, not that he influenced my playing, but i always enjoyed his playing, pure raw energy, extremely creative and omg the groove. I wish him only the best, he made alot of kids pick up the sticks.
When Joey got kicked out of Slipknot i lost all my respect for that band. Its an absolute disgrace that they still don't acknowledge him and pretend like nothing has happend. Same goes for Chris Fehn.

In my opinion he's one of "the best heavy metal drummers of all time", he's truly an amazing musician, the way Slipknot treated him when he was going through everything with his leg disability therapy was not cool, it's like "why would you get rid of one of the original members of Slipknot?" In my opinion he's better than Jay Weinberg, sorry Slipknot fans but original members are what makes a band iconic, sadly without Paul Gray it's not original and will never be original ever again, I still think that V-Man is a good bassist but is he as good as Paul Gray was ?? In opinion, No, in my opinion he's just a someone filling in for someone who died, question me all you want but it's safe to say that they still doing well, but I would love to see Joey Jordison return behind the kit for Slipknot, I felt like he didn't actually do anything wrong so I just don't understand why they replaced him with someone else.... it's like saying that "We're disowning you as a member of our family, get out, leave"
It's sad. But on a business level (because Slipknot are a business) they needed to keep on moving. Slipknot don't have time to wait around. I remember seeing Slipknot live a couple of times before Joey was kicked out and even I noticed the difference in play style live. It was really sad to witness. Jay can keep up and go even faster than Joey. With Joey's recovery though, I could imagine one day that they'll get him back for a song or even a show at a special event. I would LOVE to see that! Wish the guy all the best with his future endeavours

They never gave Joey a chance to explain what’s going on. Joey has said only one person visited him in the hospital. Joey deserves way better than that. He could definitely still be in Slipknot if they just waited for him and should be there for him. Joey was one of the first founders of slipknot along with Shawn and paul. God Joey is so talented and no one can replace him. Jay can’t fill in or replace him. Jay just isn’t slipknot material in my eyes. I want Joey to come back, with all respect to jay
