Pulls engine cover thinks it's the valve cover😅 you need to get an aluminum valve cover bruh bruh the oem valve cover is plastic and that manifold is going to get to hot for the plastic😫... plus I hope you didn't just hand thread those studs in and actually torqued them down using the double nut method ...

I live in the DFW area too... UPS for some reason NEVER brings car parts, IN PARTICULAR, on time. The last three car parts I'd ordered from UPS never got here and each of them I got some notification saying they were returned due to some hazardous material damage or something like that.

Switch the valve covers, when you run big turbo on 2010+ the plastic valve covers may melt.

Did you make sure your old drain is facing down. Hard to tell from the video
I believe the piece that you pulled off of the engine is used to hoist it if it needs to be pulled.
Your going to have to clock the center Cartridge on the turbo also because the oil drain is in the top.. the small port is the feed and the big port is the drain.

Before installing turbo you might wanna loosen center cartridge on the turbo also. Make sure the return drains properly hate to see the turbo cook itself.
JDMovation he probably wants to install those studs the right way while he's at it..seems like he just threaded them in by hand and hopes that red thread locks going to save him
I would put anti seeze in the clocking bolts just incase you ever need to loosen them again that’s what i did on mine
If your going with a bigger turbo why not go speed density?

Hey Evan that piece you took off that you didn't know what it was at 7:50 with the bolt holes and egg shaped hole is the lifting point if you ever have to pull your engine out of the car. Would definitely recommend keeping it on the car or at least in the tool box just in case. Love the vids bro keep them going and stay positive

Hey even I think Red thread Locker melts around 500 Degrees fahrenheit or something close so if you see smoke coming from the turbo that might be the cause

That merc sounds nothing like any merc I have ever experienced, my dad had a 2010 c250 amg sport package and it was a very nice interior and drove amazingly, especially for a 2010 car. The sound system was amazing, Harmann Kardon absolutely killed the setup in that car. Very odd that the 2017 ones seem so bunk :7

Thread locked usually won’t do much at that high of temp, I would stack two nuts on top of each other on the stud and tighten the stud. My bad if you were already planning on doing this.
