*Fun fact:* Despite his thirst for blood, Boba followed some fairly strict codes of dignity, especially related to sex. During his stay on Jabba's Palace, the Hutt offered Bobba to have relations with the enslaved Leia. However, Boba refused the offer and preferred to just chat with her, arguing that he considered completely immoral to have sex without being married. This encounter made Leia realize that Boba was not the cold-blooded monster everyone believed. Also, Boba once notified Solo about the death of the smuggler's first lover Bria Tharen, as he promised her one time while trying to capture her that, in case she died, he would be the one responsible of notifying her demise
Honestly Boba sounds like a Chad bro imagine being Leia thinking boba's gonna be a douche and have his way with you only for him to pull a ned Flanders by having a night long debate about why you shouldn't have sex before marriage
Thanks for including lore from the Republic Commando Novels. Often times Karen Travis’s version of Mandolorians and the planet are sidelined because Clone Wars show ignored what she established and just did their own thing.
"Here's why you can't exterminate us, aruetii. We're not huddled in one place-we span the galaxy. We need no lords or leaders-so you can't destroy our command. The Mandalorians are the go to faction for me. Top gear, a cultural identity, camaraderie. Warriors that have endured as the galaxy reshapes around them.
Watching Boba leaving aside his rivalry with Solo and work together to save the Galaxy from the Vong and other threats (to the point of even training Jaina) is one of the most epic things Legends made in the post-ROTJ Era. The fact Disney completely forgot Boba during the sequels was a crime
Honestly I’m glad they left him out of that god awful sequel trilogy. It’s a taint to any character included in it. What is criminal is S3 of the Mandalorian not including Boba Fett at all, who is a Mandalorian despite what the trash writers at Disney want you to believe.
We can all see, that the clone wars did not show the training by mandalorians. Its so stupid, that Filoni destroyed cotinuity with the clone wars, which is sad.
I have always found Mandalore the Indomitable to be the most badass mandalorian leader. Despite treating the Sith Ulic Qel-Droma with utter disrespect and cockiness before their confrontation, he gladly accepted to serve him with complete loyalty as his second-in-command after being defeated, knowing that said Sith deserved to be his master.

I choose to believe that they eventually found an antidote, possibly with the help of the Nulls. Mainly because I think that it would have been cool if the Mand'alor after Fett was Venku Skirata and it would be kinda lame to kill him off by just saying "yeah he was on the planet when the poison dropped"
And there it is, Mandalorians as they should be. No cults worshiping a sword, no helmet nonsense, no "this is the way" bullshit. Delete everything that Disney did, and things get a lot better. What a surprise.
Hey @TheLoreMaster, I'd love to learn about the formation of the lore. Like, I always wonder "how much of this stuff does George Lucas know?" Where did most of the lore come from? How did it get to us? I am speaking in general, but also like, in the OT, does GL know who Willrow Hood is?
Can you help me with something ? On one hand, a society in perpetual war may not be completely sustainable. On the other hand, Sparta understood basic values other sections of Greece didn't seem to thanks to their ways, despite some of its atrocities. Doesn't seem very right to have them fully let go of their traditions.
Thought this was gonna be a Geetsly's collab with that intro in mind. Anyhow, the Alt-universe's Mandalorians are extreme milquetoasts compared to this universe's. Must be because some events in that latter didn't happen, if not happened extremely differently, in the former. Edit: I don't think one can easily mix up the Traviss/Skirata interpretation of pre-2008 Legends with the Filoni/Kryze interpretation of the now Alt-universe, unfortunately.
@@EternalEmperorofZakuul In all honesty, I believe we may have dodged a bullet when disney rejected Lucas’ ST story treatments. However, I do feel the need to say that story treatments rarely, if ever, end up being realised fully or even partially in the final product.
