Us Filipinos eat our food with hands too but most of the people now in our country eat their food with spoon and fork but using hands is kind of the way our ancestors did it. So yeah. I love this channel. Keep it up :) You're all cool.
And that is why I love America. So many cultures, so many food. I have the honor to live in Los Angeles California and I have been vegetarian since 1994.
I'm not a fan of Indian cuisine, but there are 3 things I like: mango lassi, jalebi and I absolutely love butter chicken. Not the chicken, really, just the sauce. :)
Nick Malhotra Ok before I answer this question there are some things you need to know. 1. I don't get a chance to eat Masala Dosa often. I only get it when I visit my sister in Houston. 2. There was a limited amount of Masala Dosa, and no way for me to get more. (auntie said she wasn't going to make more that day, and I was leaving that night) 3. One of them was supposed to be mine. 4. She's my older sister and she's supposed to share with me. I'm 20 and I know it's childish, but I really really like masala dosa and I had to wait a whole year before I got more. :'( I totally forgave her for eating my food, because my niece is awesome, but I can't deny that it still makes me a little sad. (this is all pure melodrama btw, just in case you think I'm being serious)
This was awesome!! Though I love Indian fashion, I admit trying Indian food was not high on my to-do list cuz I'm just not a fan of spicy food. But seeing this made me a bit curious so maybe I'll give it a try. Plus, having this handsome velvet-throated newcomer Vivaswan explaining the dishes didn't hurt either lol. Oh btw, his channel? Subscribed.
You can find a lot of indian food which is not hot, with a lot of cream or coconut to calm everything down. Be sure to ask the restaurant before your order :p
***** In Vedic age, when a Bramhin visited a village with his students, it was a tradition to present them meat of calf..... yes, Hindus used to eat beef back then \with the Jains and Buddhists rose in power they banned it socially because without young bovines, agricultures were effected.... they popularised vegetarian food and it was until centuries...... it happened BC after the mughal invasion they taught Indians how to prepare lamb, biryani, Mughlai paratha, kulfi and else, but it was only limited to the aristocrats and most of the common people abhor meat or they couldn't have afford it... after Sepoy Mutiny, many Indian soldiers travelled overseas to battle and they leaned to eat chicken from the British.... that's how meat entered our culture....
Most of the food was actually North Indian. The only thing that was South Indian was the Masala Dosai. There are many languages in South India. One of it Is Tamil, and we say Vanakam instead of Namaste🙏 😊. However, great review of our Indian fd guys!

love biriyani rice and the naan bread and indian curry I wish I can go back to singapore to eat indian food in life but little india has a indian restuanrnt at the hawker center
I just love Indian food including masala
Masala is english not indian but maybe western indian restaurant will serve it as a curry because of thier similarities
+ashley gaden What do you mean masala is English? masala isnt even an english word, its an indian word. masala means mixture in many indian languages.
+ashley gaden it is NOT English food, it was made by Indians in India. It's sad people think that the British made it, as the person above said masala is NOT an English word
ashley gaden I don't get it why Masala is "English" if it is English then is it traditional like fish and chips?
+Joseph Anton most indians ???? nope
My family is English, but we always have an indian food day every Thursdays and we're so inlove with Spicy Indian dishes! I'd take them Indian foods over my all time fav Ichiran Ramen. 😁
Man.. I love Indian food, I love the creamy curries and naan which is my fave Indian flatbread. Also love the biryanis etc.. And mango lassi
I thought the ghost chilli pepper was the hottest in the world? And u guys should try the Indian curry called PHALL it's the hottest Indian curry around!!
KarYeng :3 Try aloo ka parauntha(with butter) with chicken tikka masala and malai wali lassi. :D

I love chai tea! My indian friend taught me how to make it and it tastes soo much better than the chai tea in Starbucks.
Jess Bess 😃
Lol. There's no chai tea. Tea is called chai in India. Just like there's nothing called curry. It's juts gravy.
Man I miss Indian food, I moved to South American and they have great food but miss all the multi cultural cuisines from back in LA, including Indian food.

Us Filipinos eat our food with hands too but most of the people now in our country eat their food with spoon and fork but using hands is kind of the way our ancestors did it. So yeah. I love this channel. Keep it up :) You're all cool.
I lived in Indonesia, they eat with their hands there too.
And love love love chai tea!

My sister hardcore craved masala dosa all through her pregnancy. She ate at least 2 a day, and those things are huge af.
Nick Malhotra My point? That my sister had a hardcore craving. I thought I covered that.
Well she didn't share, and that kinda hurt my feelings. Also she tended to eat them one after the other.
I totally forgave her for eating my food, because my niece is awesome, but I can't deny that it still makes me a little sad. (this is all pure melodrama btw, just in case you think I'm being serious)
lilykep ikr....dont' even fit in the plate
Give a hispanic person spicy food day will be so happy, we LIVE for spicy food.
#proudtobehispanic
DO TIBETAN FOOD FOR FUNG BROS FOOD
I love Tibet, from Bangladesh!
Do they have tibetan food restaurant in the United States? A lot of food can only be cooked on the Tibetan Plateau.
They do
yea tibetan food
Yes!!! Momos!!!
Subscribed.
OMG I see ur into korea and india so am I
dkrasta9 Yep! Pretty much anything Asian-ish culture, I'm down lol.
You can find a lot of indian food which is not hot, with a lot of cream or coconut to calm everything down. Be sure to ask the restaurant before your order :p
Weweldem Cool! Thanks for the tip!
awwh, thank you! :)
4:54 "JAI HO"

Varun Karan sorry?!
Pakistani samosas are meat stuffed whereas Indian ones are stuffed with potato.
I have never tried indian food. Makes me really want to try it now lol
***** yes. I guess I'm too Americanized :(
middle eastern and Indian food i must say..have very similar taste..but with a slightly different usage of spices and what not...
***** it was passively from Mughal Invasion and actively after Sepoy Mutiny in 1857.....
*****
In Vedic age, when a Bramhin visited a village with his students, it was a tradition to present them meat of calf..... yes, Hindus used to eat beef back then
\with the Jains and Buddhists rose in power they banned it socially because without young bovines, agricultures were effected.... they popularised vegetarian food and it was until centuries...... it happened BC
after the mughal invasion they taught Indians how to prepare lamb, biryani, Mughlai paratha, kulfi and else, but it was only limited to the aristocrats and most of the common people abhor meat or they couldn't have afford it...
after Sepoy Mutiny, many Indian soldiers travelled overseas to battle and they leaned to eat chicken from the British....
that's how meat entered our culture....
***** alright..... and I told what history said about eating meat..... we both are right in a way I guess....
I love to see these Fung Bros.. tasting Indian food....
Most of the food was actually North Indian. The only thing that was South Indian was the Masala Dosai. There are many languages in South India. One of it Is Tamil, and we say Vanakam instead of Namaste🙏 😊. However, great review of our Indian fd guys!
Shanu Log.. Masala dosa is not south Indian...dosa is south Indian... Masala dosa is a North Indian adaptation of dosa.
@@PankajSingh-ub9de bro masala dosa is a Udupi cuisine but you can say its a north indian bcose it was brought by the north indian Brahmins settled here,so technically yeah
You guys should do Salvadoran food 👀 California has one of the biggest Salvadoran populations in the US 💙
