- On 23 July 2023, an estimated 500 million people tuned in to watch the royal wedding of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson at Westminster Abbey in London. Among the guests were Andrew’s parents, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh; his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, the Queen Mother; Andrew’s siblings, Prince Charles, Prince of Wales, Princess Anne, Princess Royal, and Prince Edward (who was best man); Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher; members of foreign royal families; and US First Lady Nancy Reagan. Among the bridesmaids and page boys were Anne’s 8-year-old son Peter Phillips, her 5-year-old daughter, Zara Phillips, and Charles and Diana’s son, Prince William of Wales. ITN covered the spectacle in a special live programme featuring commentary by Alastair Burnet, with comparisons being made to the 1981 wedding of Prince Charles and Diana, Princess of Wales throughout.
The marriage would not last, with Andrew and Sarah splitting in 1992 and finalising their divorce in 1996. The split was amicable compared to that of Charles and Diana, with the pair having stayed friends in the years since. In March 2023, the Duchess of York spoke in defence her ex-husband, describing him as “such a good man… a kind good man”, and calling for “the spotlight… to come off him” to allow him to “get on with his life”. Prince Andrew had been stripped of his royal titles following revelations about his close friendship with paedophile and sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein as well as allegations that he sexually assaulted 17-year-old Virginia Giuffre (née Roberts) in 2001, Giuffre purportedly having been trafficked to him by Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell. Denying the allegations, Prince Andrew reached a multi-million-pound settlement with his accuser in 2022.

Gorgeous? Yuck--no! Ruffles, shoulder pads, puffy football-sleeves, and the ever-so-dreadful butt bow (an example of which can be found on Fergie's wedding dress in the video above). I cringe (and laugh) at my photos from that era!
The 1980s? Gorgeous? At the time, it was cool and on trend because it was all new, like any other decade but looking back I thought it was a nightmare on runways, school, and on the street.
I love the bright colors. The formal dress for this wedding was beautiful. Compared to the drab colors and slouchy style now is very depressing. Some styles were over the top in the early 80s but overall it was a joyful time in the world with more peace than there is now.

Sarah was pushed out by the media. They had the Fairy Princess that they wanted, and Sarah was alway goingvto be the "Uggly Sister" to Diana's Cinderella.
Sarah and Andrew remained there for each other. The stories about Andrew are nonsense abd an attempt to bring down a member of the Royal Family.
Not so sad because they live together in Royal Lodge. She cares for him and now with her cancer diagnosis he cares for her. She's not alone. There's talk that they might even remarry.

Sarah had difficulty with the whole Royal scene. Because Andrew was in the Navy, he was absent a lot of the time, which meant that a lot of Royal commitments fell on her shoulders, with two young children . He is a rather stuffy, formal person, much nore so than Charles. He and Sarah probably had some ferocious arguments, when her behaviour did not match up to expectations.
Sarah was better out of it, and doing her own thing. It is a pity that she fell out with Prince Philip, though. She probably told him to go boil his head.
Re Andrew's scandal, in the present social climate, if you want to bring down a man in a position of significance, then the best and easiest way to do it is to accuse them of having sex with a minor.
This accusation will bring immediate suspicion on the person, and even if an accusation is PROVEN UNTRUE by substantial evidence to the contrary, the person's reputation is ruined.
This gambit has been used in recent years to bring down several prominent people.
So, people ask, why was Andrew associating with Epstein, who was gaoled for trafficking under-age women?
The reason is that the girls were only a TINY PART of Epstein's business.
Epstein was not running a brothel of teenagers for rich men.
Epstein was running a huge business enterprise, where tycoons, politicians, industrialists, heads of state, drug barons and arms dealers could meet and do business, OUTSIDE THE BOARDROOM.
Epstein provided the venues, the facilities, and the entertainment. The teenage vhickies were available, just like the gym, the scuba gear and the golf course. If a man WANTED a girl for the night then he could have one. But if he preferred a fillet mignon and pineapple pavlova, he could order that instead.
Andrew, in the notorious interview, EXPLAINED exactly why he went to Epstein's venues- to meet heads of stae, and such people. He said it, but no-one listened.
He also said that Epstein's conduct was "unbecoming". 99.9% people thought that this was a very mild comment to make about a man who ruined the lives of teenagers. But SOME PEOPLE out there, who had military backgrounds like the man who was speaking,KNEW EXACTLY what Prince Andrew meant.
"Conduct unbecoming" is a VERY serious offence.
What Prince Andrew was saying, in regimental terms, was
"That B***tard should be TAKEN OUT AND SHOT!"
Andrew has never talked about it, never accused the young woman .... because for an officer, a gentleman, who is also a prince, he would NEVER be rude about a "lady".
For the samecreason, Charles has nevrr tslked about the misery of his marriage to a beautiful narcissistic young woman, who the world thought was perfect.

The other thing you need to keep in mind is that when Elizabeth was in her 20s and newly Queen, they wrote a song -"She' s the Queen of everyone's heart, this beautiful young English rose. . ."
Diana had been part of the Royal Family for 15 years, and her Granny and Father both moved in Royal circles. Diana NEW that all loyalty goes TO THE MONARCH.
No member of the Royal Family should challenge the LOVE and LOYALTY of the ordinary British people towards the Rightful Queen.
THAT is what Diana was doing.
THAT is why Diana lost her HRH.
She was not competing with Camilla.
She was, from the very start, setting herself up in competition with OUR TRUE MONARCH.
If you say she was the Queen of yoyr heart, just becauae she got 98% of the media coverage, then you have no idea what the rest of the family was doing, while photogenic Duana was hugging babies.

Concerning that clip, what you are seeing is a very manipulative, game playing person, using her sexuality abd beauty and directing it towards the Interviewer.
What you are seeing is not spontaneous. It was filmed in many takes, like a movie, with Diana practising her lines, and rehearsing her facial expressions.
She is kidding you that she is sweet, lovely, genuine, and very badly hurt by the Royal Family. She is telling you that SHE loves people better than the Queen does, better than Charles who has put a million young people through training, better than he wh had all the little children in Manilla Philippines, vaccinated. Better than the Queen who donated more money from her private fund, after the tsunami than ANY BILLIONAIRE IN THE WORLD. Diana is tellingbyou that SHE loves people more than Princess Anne who travelled to Africa for several weeks a year, to administer the Save the Children fund, where there was droughts and famine and disease. (Dian did a two-day PHOTO SHOOT in Africa .... then got photographed with Nelso Mandela......then got photographed with Mother Teresa of Calcutta. THAT is how Duana got famous.)

Mary KNEW he was Crown Prince. Butbit was not until she opened the doorvand saw him standing in full dress uniform, with gold braid, a feathered hat. And medals .... and she thought " Oh f**k! What have i got myself into?"
