There is some evidence that Diana became jealous of her - it is clear Diana told the press where to find Sarah when she had her weekend away that got her blown apart. Always liked her open, honest manner.

Carolyn Cotterell was the blonde haired lady-in waiting that Sarah had early on in her marriage. Carolyn died aged 43 and was an enormous loss to Sarah - who lost so many friends and family at that time. Diana, her mother , father also a dear friend with motor neurone. She must have felt so lost during these years.
Princess Sarah is a free spirit trying her best at her obligations. What a shame the Royal Family did not see how beautiful and loved she really is! My friend has died of ALS which gives the person affected about 2 1/2 Years to live when diagnosed, I visited her a year before she passed away and must say I have never seen a more crucial sickness than ALS and Fergie was right still up today not many know about it, Steven Hawkings was the most known person who has been diagnosed very early in his life and never gave up fighting but lost too in the end, so yes it was a very thoughtful of Fergie to do what she did, give them hope that someday there is a cure

I think Fergie is very pretty. I've said that elsewhere, but it's a different beauty to Diana's and this is ok. I personally don't think it was good or fair to compare them. But the press was merciless and this commentator is a bit harsh sometimes. For instance, comments on her dress sense - Well for goodness sake, the 80s and 90s style wasn't always flattering to people's shapes. She s a bit more 'real' and down to earth and I prefer people like that.
I think there are fixed ideas as to what constitutes elegance, though and if I'm honest, there are some who might be considered less so than Fergie. If she walks in z slightly 'off beat' way, it might be due to her athleticism. And for me, that's cool. I like people who are different. My friend has died of ALS which gives the person affected about 2 1/2 Years to live when diagnosed, I visited her a year before she passed away and must say I have never seen a more crucial sickness than ALS and Fergie was right still up today not many know about it, Steven Hawkings was the most known person who has been diagnosed very early in his life and never gave up fighting but lost too in the end, so yes it was a very thoughtful of Fergie to do what she did, give them hope that someday there is a cure
I think it was cruel for the RF to keep the young couple apart for months on end while PA served in the royal navy. Fergie should have been allowed to accompany her husband. What relationship would work when you see your partner for less than 4 months a year?

I think Sarah Ferguson is a normal, down to earth lady who found it difficult to adjust to the world of the Royal Family
neither Sarah nor Diana had anyone take them under their wing and bring them along in educating them for life in the royal family. And when they got into trouble, they were thrown to the wolves. I'm glad that Sarah lives under the same roof as Andrew -and I think it is possible someday for it to be more.

I think Fergie is very pretty. I've said that elsewhere, but it's a different beauty to Diana's and this is ok. I personally don't think it was good or fair to compare them. But the press was merciless and this commentator is a bit harsh sometimes. For instance, comments on her dress sense - Well for goodness sake, the 80s and 90s style wasn't always flattering to people's shapes. She s a bit more 'real' and down to earth and I prefer people like that.
I think it was also they way she carried herself. She walked like a man and was not very elegant.
I think there are fixed ideas as to what constitutes elegance, though and if I'm honest, there are some who might be considered less so than Fergie. If she walks in z slightly 'off beat' way, it might be due to her athleticism. And for me, that's cool. I like people who are different. She s not perfect, and even if she is a royal, she's still human and subject to foibles, which she didn't hide. Fair play to her, I think.

When people discuss Diana's "faults," they forget how young she was. She was NINETEEN when she married! Her height, hairstyle and clothes made her look more mature, but she was still so young. How many 19-year-old brides out there does anyone know who could perfect the social graces? Most of the ones I've known were still drinking beer and smoking pot w/their friends every weekend. But young Diana was thrust in a MUCH older, more mature social circle and expected to have the maturity of a 40-year-old.
