I truly believe if Charles had been a loving, respectful , faithful husband, the marriage would have turned out alright. Diana wanted a good marriage & happy family. The way he treated her made that impossible.
They're still doing it with Meghan, hell thats one of the reasons why she initially hid her pain, cause of how she would be scrutinized.

For me Fergie reminds me of an over excited child who doesn’t know when to calm it down. On the other hand she learnt a very hard valuable lesson, went off the rails a little and managed to claw her way back to respectability. I think she is a very attractive woman, and the press were wrong to criticise her when she was clearly very depressed. I admire her loyalty to Andrew, and his to her. Such a shame they were “guided” by the wrong people. I hope Fergie has found some peace in her life now.

Fergie isn't so much of an outcast as people think. Fergie herself has said she is friends with the queen. She said one year she was invited to stay at a cottage at Balmoral so she could see her daughters at christmas. She was at the cottage when their was a knock on the door. When she answered it, it was the queen. They spent a few hours just talking like old friends. Everytime since she has gone to Baloral the queen pops down to see her. When Prince Philip died, Fergie was one of the people who helped the queen

This just goes to show the news tells people what to think, feel, and repeat. Sarah is pretty, her cloths are nice, and she is not even overweight other than right after having children according to the medical meaning and concerns of overweight. Aren't we all overweight right after having children as we lack rest and time for self care to be our most healthy and fit? I remember hearing about how fat and ugly she was while I was growing up. Watching this now as an adult she is lovely. The cheating was not only harmful to herself but also her family but the years of media picking on her and getting everyone to call her fat, ugly, and tacky clearly played a part in why she wrongly sought validation and escape with men.

Diana was sure that she would marry Prince Andrew when she grew up. Her family took to calling her Dutch because they were also sure she would marry Andrew and become a Duchess. Once Diana realized that she could actually catch Charles, the chase was on and facilitated by her family.
Diana feigned interest in Charles’ interests and hobbies (Balmoral, fishing hunting, etc.)-basically, she pretended to be who Camilla is, a hunting, shooting, fishing, reading country girl. Then as soon as they were on their honeymoon (most of which was at Balmoral), Diana declared each of his interests as borrrring. When the honeymoon moved on to Balmoral she would have have fits of screaming and crying when he wouldn’t do what she wanted when she wanted him to do it (the court was at Balmoral for the summer so there was official business going on and many witnesses). After the honeymoon she proceeded to, one by one, separate him from his friends (he would give in to avoid conflict with her), then his staff (who would quit because she would not look at or speak to those she wanted to leave).
In her mind, she loved him, but then attempted to change everything about him, and if he wanted any kind of peace, he would comply. Diana and her family, particularly the Spencers, were very ambitious and misrepresented who she was to the RF, particularly regarding her emotional health & stability. The Spencer’s actually had a bit of a reputation for unstable men (Diana’s mom cited abuse in the divorce), but the RF didn’t think the mental issues affected the Spencer women. Diana actually refused to cooperate with mental health professionals provided by the RF when they realized how unstable she was, and wouldn’t accept mental health help for years (yes, the RF tried to get her professional help) until a friend threatened to out her bulimia to the press because she was afraid it would kill her.
And that is just how she treated Charles. As a grown woman she held hostility towards her mother for leaving her abusive father (her mother took Diana & her brother with her but lost custody), pushed her 60 year old stepmother down the stairs (long after Diana married btw), threw her stepmother’s things out the window in trash bags after her father died, fired one staff for claiming expenses with the palace for some trips with Diana (completely legitimate expenses), and fired another who was the currier delivering tapes to Andrew Morten for her for accepting reimbursement from the publishing company.
The virginal “Shy Di” persona was completely a creation of a press. A bit like the common impression that the Queen Mother “sweet ol’granny.”

Not sure how long ago this was filmed, but Fergie has edged her way back in to the royal graces. She has been to the Royal Ascot a couple of times, she was at Prince Harry's wedding, she's even in a wedding picture from Princess Eugenie's wedding standing next to Prince Phillip, who swore he'd never be in a room with her again. She has been several times, publicly, with Prince Andrew........ to the point of speculation that they may get remarried. Now I think Andrew is in a much more scandalous position than she ever was.

Sherry Duggar- I’m not forgetting Diana’s affairs . I don’t ageee with them either but under her circumstances and situation I actually applaud that lady for the enduring patience she went through. First let me tell u some facts
1. Diana found out weeks or maybe a month before that Charles does not actually love her and he is in love with Camila. Before she worked it out she was very happy and in love with him. He did love her some but not in that way.
2 When she found out wanted to cancel the wedding and she asked her sister for advice and her sister told her it’s too late. Your faces are already all printed on the tea towels and merchandise.
3.There was also a time when Charles had to fly to a duty and Diana was caught crying wearing a red coat. She later admitted she was crying because of his affair and her situation.
4. During the press interview for their engagement the journalist asked if the are in love and Charles answered “whatever love means” and Diana was mortified. You can look all these allegations up. There is a video of Diana talking all of this
5. As Diana walked down the wedding aisle isle was looking for camilla. She was intensely jealous.
