Help!! :) I am having a difficult time with the A&P section only because I studied the entire section in the Elsevier Study Prep A&P section, I then took the A&P portion of the pocket prep and almost none of what I studied in the book was on the pocket prep test for A&P. Which was more reliable in your opinion? The book, or the pocket prep?
And, are the pocket prep questions pretty much verbatim what is on the actual test?

Hey. How did you prepare for the biology portion of the hesi? Was it only content in the book, or you have more content that is added from the book?
How did you remember the conversions you stated a way to remember
The easiest way to use "King Henry Doesn't Usually Drink Chocolate Milk," is to divide by 10 (moving left) and multiply by 10 (moving right). Count the spaces from the unit given and unit that has to be converted. The number of spaces will determine how many times to divide or multiply by 10. Example: 5kg = 5,000m (5*10*10*10 =5000). Because, you're going right. Example: 45mL = 0.045L (45/10/10/10 = 0.045). Because, you're going left. I hope this helps :).

What Nursing school is that? So, no A&P, physics or Chemistry were required to be tested before starting into Nursing program?? Wow!! You’re lucky! I’ll have mine next month. Thank you for sharing the app. I’m gonna start using it right away... I am taking the HESI when all of this corona stuff is over, and I am studying but I'm terrified I will not do well. My exam is only over grammar, reading comprehension, math and vocabulary. Are there any tips you have? I took the practice exam online and got a 64 and I'm trying to study harder but I'm like terrified I'll fail.
A whole month to study?! Haha they only gave me like a 2 week warning that I was taking the exam so I better get on studying !

Focus on the app. daily and repeat them over and over until u memorize them. You just need to prepare well to pass but you can do it. Stay in the game and giving up is not an option.

I took an exam and thought I failed bc of math and I didn’t miss any math questions at all! Lol. But in high school I always struggled to hold a B so it’s weird lol.

I’m taking my HESI for an LVN program in July, I don’t really have a strong background in anatomy at all really so hopefully the book will help. It’s been like 4 years since I graduated high school and we only took basic anatomy not physiology 😩

I had to take the chemistry part on the hesi. The chemistry section on the hesi book was pretty much on the exam. The only thing is that you will need to know at least the first 20 elements on the periodic table since you will not be given the periodic table on the exam
Esmeralda Landa I only had a week to study but it's good to at least give yourself a month to study. I used the same resources, the Hesi book and Hesi pocket prep as well as my notes from class. But like I said before, be sure to study the first 20 elements on the periodic table. Not only their proton number but also their charge and how many valance electrons they have etc.
Did they let you use a calculator on the math section? They do not allow us for our school.
Jack Stephano there’s an on screen calculator that is built into the hesi exan, we couldn’t bring anything in

Martin Mena yeah probably. But my school makes us wait a year to retake it. So I applied to my schools nursing program anyway because I have a high GPA and my school takes HESI score and GPA into consideration when selecting. It wasn’t hard, it was just stuff I haven’t done in a long time like fractions and converting ounces to pints and all those kinda things.

Your school should let you know which is required, to enter your individual Schools program. Most schools require a HESI exam and score.
