I failed by 4 points. I didn't do great on the math conversions. So I'll be taking it again next week. Luckily I only have to take the math portion again. And yes I wasted my time studying for almost all subjects given that I only had a week I didn't think to ask which subjects were covered. It was only reading and math 😩
Edit I retook it a second time and passed.
Passing the Hesi test is when you study hard, if you can’t study or you don’t have time for your studies I’d advise you get yourself a help like Mr James
@@hubertschulz6005
I’ve always believed hesi is not for all but studying, you need God’s grace to pass 😥
@@susanmorrison7638 People keep talking about James all over UA-cam, he must be a very awesome help
@@mateolorenzo1342 Yes you’re correct but remember heaven helps those who help themselves, try studying if you can’t study then get yourself a good help
I studied for months and couldn’t pass, I guess passing is a blessing
So glad you shared this!! Thank you!! I missed my first exam by 3 points and I retake it again in a few weeks! Shooting for a 90 percent!
very clear and concise, thank you!

Thank you so much! I turned to UA-cam first thing for mine, too, so I figured I could share what helped along the way. Glad I could help ❤️

all of these quizlets are recommended for a&p?
I just registered for my HESI. I take it in August. Thank you for all of your help. This is awesome.
You’re welcome and thank you!
5 day's to study it's mostly Biology... after seeing this you really saved me thank you so much
Took your advice to start with math, reading comp, grammar, then vocab. And I passed with an average of 89.5%. Thanks for stressing the conversion parts in the math cause damn! Most of the questions were about converting pints to gallons, or gallons to ounces. But anyway, yay!! I passed!!
Congratulations 🎉🎉 was there more conversions or fractions
@@tiffanywilson2292 idk if you took it but they have metric systems so like kilograms to grams, etc!
@@jaia846 Hey, by any chance did you have to take the vocab and grammar? If so may you let me know what resources you use.
Thanks for sharing this interesting video 😊
did anyone have problems with attempting to purchase the linked pdf study guide? I bought it and am having trouble receiving it from the seller:( is anyone willing to sell it pls!!
Mariah!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
thanks for the tips
can you please put up the conversion charts you used for the exam
I definitely need help with the vocab! Would you say the quizlet for the vocab is very helpful?
Hi, you were going to share the link for the pdf and the link for the Quizlet but I did not see it.
Do you have any good Quizlets for math or reading comp?
Congratulations on passing the exam!

Can you post the link for the $7 PDF notes that you referenced? Thanks.
Thanks for the video. For the reading/comprehension section, are you able to see the passage while answering each question for it? Or do you have to remember the passage? I ask because I remember someone saying you can’t go back , only forward.
i need to know this too, did you ever find out
Thank youThank you thank you ❤❤ I just signed up to take mine in december 😯

If you have time left over on a section can you carry that into the other sections?
what's the link to the quizlet? my hesi is tomorrow and I'm struggling so bad with studying
Congrats! I pray you get in to ur school if you havent already! Take my test in 4 days!
Thank you so much! I start my program on Tuesday! 😬 and good luck!
How did you do?
@Felicia Salazar What did you do to study
Thank you :)
Girl I take it July 11th and I’m scared for math and chemistry the most. I gotta take all sections of English, math, chem, and biology. I’m extremely nervous but I wanna get into this nursing program for the spring semester 😩
How’d you do !?
Hello, I want to take this exam I took before and couldn't make it. This video is 2years ago kindly let me know the study guid way of studying in 2023 thank you so much
Do you think the other quizlets you linked are very similar to the original one that got deleted? Do you think very similar questions will be on the actual test as the quizlets? All the videos I've seen have had the same issue with the quizlets they posted first, it's weird :(
They are pretty similar in regards to material covered and the setup of the questions, too.
Did you use the GENGEN files ?
Also how do you chose the order of the sections and what happens if my college doesn’t require a specific section, do I just leave that section blank on the test?
The way it was set up for me is that when you open the exam all 5 of my required sections were listed. I got to choose which one I wanted to take in whatever order I wanted to take them. When you go to take your test it should only have the ones that are required for your program, so I would double check with your school to see which ones they want you to take.
Where is link for study material ?
I passed!! 88% in A&P 82% overall!
Did you study the flash cards from quizlet that she recommended? If so, were any of the questions similar?
@@julisciaragland7803 yes I did they were almost similar questions tbh! Go over those! I can send you more notes from another UA-camr that helped if you’d like.
@@jaia846 yes please! I would really appreciate that :)
@@jaia846 can you send it on here or do you need my email?
Do you still have the link to the original quizlet? I found a way to bypass protected sets 🙏🏼🙏🏼😭
It like like the original one was deleted 😭
Thanks Girl !! 🙏🏽
Can you use a calculator throughout the math test? Or is it limited to just certain problems?
They provide a calculator the whole way
Hey girl! Did you do long division on the HESI by chance?
I did not. Most of the math was conversions (decimals to fractions and vice versa), multiplying fractions, and scenario type of word problems.
Yassss 👏🏾👏🏾
does anyone know if you're allowed to use a basic calculator on the exam?
You're allowed a calculator.
YYEEER! Wassup friend I got a 90% my first try! I remember watching your video before I took my test and was thinking “God, just give me a competitive score”. And look what God did 🎉
Yesss congrats!! 🙌🏾
Did you study the A&P quizlet? Is it still accurate?
@@brooklynrex658 I did and it was pretty accurate to the content covered on the exam back in August of last year
How many questions in each subject
Hi question: If you fail one section, say you got a 74%, but passed and Aced all of the other sections, do you still pass the exam entirely? or you would have to retake it. I have my exam tomorrow and I am sooooo nervous and anxious about it...
For mine we have to pass all sections in order to pass. If you failed one section you had to retake the entire exam.
I take mine sometime in the spring (most likely april ish) and we take all subjects except for physics 😭
You got it! 👏🏾 At least you know way ahead of time!
Passed with an overall 95. Thank you!
Hey did you just use the resources she had ? Or did you use more study material? I'm using nurse hub & quizlet.
@@JaneshiaRobinson nurse hub is your best friend for sure! Especially for the math portion. I missed 1 question
@@tristanmolina894 thanks !!
my program is only doing math and reading! How did you feel those sections were? Pretty general? Thanks in advance!
The reading was one of the easiest on my tests. It was straight forward “read this paragraph and answer the following questions”. There were about 4-6 questions per paragraph. Math was very similar to what was in the study guide, so I highly recommend the guide if you can get it! :)
What school or program are you applying to? In what state?
I am so serious about the possibility of borrowing your highlighted material. Stressed!
I made an 87 and my advisor wants me to try one more time for a 90, so here is to trying 😅
i had 100 guys
@@hasberryshayna7152 you really got 100?
If I’m taking my exam virtually are they going to provide me with an online calculator or can I use my own?
I took mine virtually and it was proctored. They let me use my own calculator, they just had me show it to my camera first.
Congrats girl!! Wondering if there were a lot of ratio questions that they asked on the math section at all?
I don’t remember there being a lot, but the ones that I had weren’t terrible! Pretty straight forward from what I remember
@@meriyuhh Thanks girl!! one more question, did you study all of the different conversions in the hesi book you had or just the table you had linked in your video. There are just so many and I don't want to study things that I may not need. I'm having so much trouble with the conversion questions too! So hard to set them up when they are written out. My brain gets so jumbled, haha!
I only did the ones I talked about and linked! I tried not to study or focus on anything extra that I didn’t need to study.
@@meriyuhh Awesome! And im assuming there were a lot of word problem conversions like in the practice tests? Or were they all pretty straight forward like how many pints in a gallon?
Congrats on acing the HESI!!! When did you take the test?
Thank you! I took my test in August for admission into the Spring 2021 semester.
They just sent me an email that I have three days to study for this exam. I am beyond nervous!!
How did you find out what subjects are on the HESI? Did you have to call them and ask or was there a certain way online you can find out?
My program has it listed under program requirements/FAQs. Check there first for yours and you can always call to find out.
@@meriyuhh thank you so much!! This video is so helpful and I am so happy I came across it!! 💗 I’m now more eager study for this than being nervous about it 🙂
I need to get a 75% and I have three weeks. The subjects are reading comp, vocab, math, and grammar anybody have any advice?
Focus on studying one subject at a time or one subject each day. That helped me with retaining the info :)
@@meriyuhh Thank you so much.
I'm taking it one day at a time. I'll let you know if I pass my HESI entrance exam.
I have one question...was it all multiple choice?
I don't remember any questions on mine NOT being multiple choice.
How do I get the study guide

Did you get your scores immediately?
Yes, I got my scores for each section as I went along.
Can you link the conversion chart you used? Thanks!
ua-cam.com/video/aGMLRnWGanM/v-deo.html
Here’s one that explains it pretty well. This chart is the one I’ve used all semester so far.
Have to take this exam for Physical Therapy Assistant program in May🤞🏽🤞🏽
Wait, stupid question😂 but when you get the real test, they don’t include guides? Like the conversion charts for volume, weight, time charts etc? Sorry I haven’t took mines yet lmao
No lol
Not on the test, no. You’ll wanna know all your conversions by heart before taking the test.
Congratulations
my college in central texas cancelled the hesi due to covid and not wanting to have more than 5 people in one room
i get to skip it
Lucky you I wish they would waive the HESI period out here
Whereeee? I’m in houston and I really don’t wana take the tes

Have you try reaching out to mr. albert for help I got passed through the questions and answers he provide for me
This is stressing me out soooo much lol
Understandable! I stressed the whole time I studied, but once you get going on the test it’ll fly by! Just stay consistent with your studying :)
