Now this is the kind of “walkthrough” I’m talking about, now give the same exact attention to all the other types of tuning area as this & guys will start putting in more work to self tuning!!
First start on Classic system. Had to give it some pedal to keep it going until it could idle on its own. Idle won’t go below 1100, with IAC stuck at 5, adjust secondaries screw counter clockwise. Idle came down and IAC went up to 20. Fiddled with both screws and got acceptable set for now. Idling at 900 with fans on, IAC in the teens.
Thanks for the video. My experience is that the idle adjustment screw on my Royal Flush system is not flat at the end. Not a big issue but if you grind the end perfectly flat it will be a lot easier to adjust. Now it has like a wavy motion when you adjust the throttle blades. 🙂
Thanks for this video I was just setting my killshot on my road runner last night and wondering why it kept changing good to know it was because the fan light was coming on I didn’t realize it would idle up on its own
Friends Hello! What to do if the IAK readings do not change, the revs increase, but the number remains at Five. I reset the TPS and increase the revs with a bolt, but the TPS readings do not change either.
Can’t get iac number to come up off of 5 at all. I can screw in the curb idle screw damn near all the way and it won’t come up off of 5. Rpm’s will raise of course but I can’t get any change. Any advice?
Going wrong direction, you want to go counter clockwise on the screw to close the throttle plates. If that does not bring down rpm and up the IAC steps then check the screw on the secondary adjustment make sure your secondary are closed all the way.

Thanks Tim!

Nice tip. thanks
Good find.

Thank you soooooo much. This is some great info.
I'm struggling with a pig fat rich idle condition. 🤦♂️
Make sure your o2 sensor is in a good spot or go into your fuel table offset and take some out.
Do a walk through for the jackpot LS system doing same tuning adjustment
What is time and control? I have a 5.3 LS swapped Monte Carlo super sport that I need to get started ASAP.
Can you change settings so the fan on will not effect idle rpm, such as the "fan on add air" pid?
Go to system settings and find fan on air add and change it to what you like.
Tim, my friend, Hi! I can't seem to get the idle speed or vacuum adjusted. I sent another data log to Josh today after another ECU flash...
Yes, and I've probably watched this video about 10 times already...

Can you do a video on the Jackpot system DBW
