What "additional wire" connects to the Alternator plug Power EN?
I bought the ls 800 jackpot kit with the hi ram intake and would like to go to a high rise 4150 with an elbow. Would yall swap out intake for intake?
In this video series for the KillShot could you include a detailed episode on in depth tuning for vehicles with manual transmissions. I’d really like to learn more about how to fine tune this system. I see a lot of people having to hire tuners to tune their KillShot. I know tuning can’t be that complicated l just haven’t found a good “How To” video on it yet.
Been in the process of Installing my killShot the past couple days. I’ve been watching as many install videos as possible. I want to install precisely & as professionally as possible. I can’t wait for the next video in this series. To the guys at Aces please show every detail of the installation. Even if the video is 4 hours long it would be very much appreciated! I’ve watched so many install videos but every one seems to skip important steps or fails to explain things in depth. I’ll be filming a KillShot install video for my channel as well to hopefully help someone out.
Just ordered my Killshot!
Quick question on the PDM, after watching the Sima 2025 interview with Tim i have been wondering if i still need a relay to get clean power in the run/start position from the ignition switch when using the PDM Tim kind of touched on it during the interview can you elaborate please? Thank you for all your help
What is the part# for the fuel pressure sensor? Anyone know?
A friend and myself just ordered our Killshot last week and although on back order we can wait as there will still be a foot of snow till April 😊 Can’t wait to try it out. Watched and heard some good things about the system. Be our first EFI conversion
Im starting to give up on Aces. I bought my kill shot before all this free stuff, and before they had any promotions. I believed in them before any freebies were necessary. Now, when I ask how much a screen upgrade is it's full price when I ask how much a fuel system is? It's full price. I didn't even get an AN wrench. I've thought the decent thing to be was to give your old customers a discount, AT LEAST, on what you're giving away for free now! NOPE!! I paid over $800 for a dyno tune by a supposed "authorized tuner", and it's no better than what it was before. Tech line was zero help. ALMOST like they wanted me to spend $ at a tuner AGAIN. If I didn't have kids, I'd blow my brains out. I'm broke and ZERO HELP. THANKS ACES😟😞🔫almost $2,000 later on system and tuning, im screwed! I think holley dominator or terminator is a better way to go. There's so much more "HELP" out there and more people willing to help you fix things. Word-of-mouth is the best advertisement I still believe, and you know what i'm going to tell people about my experience and it's going to be everybody I come across who talks about efi. 😈
If you think talking bad about a company just because you have to pay full price for certain things a year later and because you went and paid a crappy tuner 800 bucks is going to change anything then good luck to you sir. Doesnt sound like Aces problem to me. Go buy that dominator for 3k and then go whine on their UA-cam channel.
First off, 800 for a tune? That was not an ACES authorized tuner. They do not cost that much. Next time, take a look at their website. Their authorized tuners are listed there. Second, if you buy milk n eggs today and then go in 1 week n prices are cheaper, do you demand them to refund you the difference? I bet you voted Hillary and then Biden/Harris too huh?
5 months ago you said this, "Great folks to deal with. Company is bunch of gear head/programming wizard, good ol boys out of Tennessee, I think. Weekly tech talks and other good videos on UA-cam." Now you blast them for not giving you a discount on a screen upgrade or an AN wrench. You think Holley will give you "free" stuff after a year because you bought there merchandise? If you have a beef with the "$800 dyno session" you should have asked the Owner of that business prior to doing the work for referrals and/or go to the BBB. All legitimate quality businesses will always give out referrals. And when you say there is "so much more "HELP" out there and more people willing to help you fix things" perhaps you should not have put on a FI system in the first place and stuck with a carburetor.
Can’t wait for the turbo Ls jackpot video
Gotta say. It seems you have decent products, but the videos and website info are so chaotic that I still haven't ordered a system that's been in my plans for months now. Is there a video showing the fuel line install? Or one discussing the various options for fuel pumps, distributor, coil, etc.?
1986 Monte Carlo superport LS swapped need that ASAP
I have a 5.3LS with a TH400. Do you have one for this combo?
Does this system have a torque converter lock up wire like the fitech
I have the Holley black heart G body LS swap headers would I be able to use the factory spot on that? It's pretty far back for the O2
Is there any chance of you guys making a video about the basics of the tuning software? Maybe addressing some common things people run into and what to look at to start the tuning process ( like a bog when the throttle goes wide open under load, and the stalling when pushing in the clutch for us manual guys). I'm new to this and trying to learn everything I can. I have a killshot on my car. Thanks
Hello , I'm looking forward to the video on wiring up the fuel sender connection on the Killshot Classic. When will it be available? You guys ROCK!!
Not a question- I know myself and some of the other tuners go over the basics of the software when we do remote tuning. For those that want to dip their toes into the tuning world and also need a tune, this is a great way to get a crash course and ask any related questions, and fill any gaps until Tim and Team get their tuning videos out!
Any plans for Direct injection capable ECU? Clowns at Holley/Lynx are way overpriced... They aren't clowns, but they are certainly overpriced.
With less oxygen, the combustion process can become less efficient, potentially causing the air-fuel mixture to ignite too quickly if the timing is not adjusted. My suggestion is to retard the timing with higher elevation by 1 degree per 2000ft. Hope that helps.
Tim, from what I've known and quick researched, oxygen content remains the same percentage wise as altitude increases, at least to the elevations he mentioned. I could be wrong of course. I'm in the 3000-6000ft range frequently and get down to the low 80's in KPA at WOT. In my experience I can get away with more timing than usual in the WOT range, but not by a lot. Anyone adjusting their timing table at elevation should check what their atmosphere KPA is and adjust that range for the recommended WOT timing. On the MBT 2D timing table, the numbers corelate with close to sea level conditions, where they are not going to be at full engine load at 80kpa. Even at 3000' elevation, the 2d timing table is too spicy out of the box.
Hey guys! I bought an Aces Jackpot pro 800hp kit a few months ago. Life got busy, and i had to delay the build. I have since decided that i want to add boost on e85, with that being said i have 65lb injectors and would love to upgrade to 80lbs. Would it be possible to exchange my 65s for some 80s? If not i completely understand! Just wanted to check before upgrading later on.
Y’all wanna have a chat about a sponsorship??!
hi guys :D
Nice work Gentlemen! Though I do miss Tim's fashion tips.....Looking forward to the new Killshot Pro. Currently running a Royal Flush with a 175 shot of nitrous. Excellent results BTW!Just wondering if the new Dual Quad killshot pro control /ecu is based off another system or if it is all new programming . Will be installing on a tunnel ram with dial nitrous plates . Thanks .... ✌️
what aces system would you use to run 8 injectors over the top of a 671 using a joeblow injector/hat combo on an early hemi ?
Hell yeah man! I appreciate y’all’s answers
For those of us that got early Jack Pro but not wires for fuel level are not there so will a wire kit be available ?.
Love the wiring harness. But for every build it’s different. Can we extend wires without issues and can we see a vid on attaching to current MSD billet distr and coil?
Semi patiently waiting for the tuning video. Also, more tech talk about the dueces wild would be cool
Just layer down a banger of a tune on a 22r deuces wild a couple weeks ago.
I’m going to make 1 comment in every tech Tuesday. For the people. In the advance tuning software it would be nice to be able to see a compare file! What do you think?
Compare file would be nice. Let's try something more simple first like the learn table match the actual VE table. Makes zero sense that they are not
@@coolbet13for the tables it is due to the amount of ram onboard the ecu. I also wanna see a comparison feature. Let me look into that some this month and see what possible.
@@actionvulture5251 okay if it's a hardware constraint, how about a tool within the tuning software that can interpolate and apply the learn to main with a click? Perhaps even be able to apply by half/full/or any percent of the learn ect? Would make life much easier for the masses
@@actionvulture5251 Not sure what would make this possible, having two instances of the software open at once would also be very handy!
How about including instructions for the new PDM.
There is instructions on the product page for the PDM
Just ordered my Jackpot Lite system for my LS S10 swap. Trying to catch up on all the videos. Love the idea of fuel level in the upcoming updates! Would love to see a progressive nitrous controller built in as well. That’s my wish list fuel level and nitrous controller. Will document progress on my channel. Thanks guys!
I am sure you will cover this in your killshot install video but The 255 inline kit that came with my killshot has two different diameter fuel lines? Just curious where each of those are used? I'm probably overlooking it somewhere in the manual. Also went on spooling. I think I kinked it slightly and heard a small pop. I assume that section is probably bad?
I normally use the -8(fat line) from the tank to the pre filter. But it depends on the tank and goals.
I used the steel braided on mine, but I just did it because of the looks and it’s a little easier to get the fittings on the steel braided over the black braid
After I got my Holley 750 pumps, nozzles, jets and cams all dialed in and my AFR was on point,All I need the last 15 years is this small little flat head screw driver 😂😂😂😂😂👊👊.For the money people spend on these self tuning EFI kits that doesn’t give them anymore throttle response or hp you could buy a freaken BLOWER 😂😂😂😂😂.Long love the flathead screw driver.
I’m liking the look of the product after researching it. That and the people factor is nice too with these videos. Hoping to potentially install on my truck😊
Can we get map in kpa and everything else in merica?
Hey guys, I've been trying to find how to tune the transmission to shift correctly , I have a LS with 4L60 using Jackpot and trans controller.... It doesn't shifts and it feels in 1-2 gear all the time. Any advice what Episode to watch? or maybe to fine tune the engine, doesn't go above 3k-4k RPM's. The engine/ transmission has been rebuilt with less than 50 miles on the new swap. thanks in advance
Keep up the great work!
What’s the port on top of the handheld
It's a USB-C
Yes, rotary stuff please😁
Thank you guys again for all your help I have a few new questions on my dads 72 Ford f250 with fe 390 and deuces wild master kit and command Center fuel system, we live at about 7500 FT elevation what would you recommend we run the timing at after locking it at the 15 deg BTDC we are planning on using computer-controlled timing norm with a carb is about 8 BTDC. 2nd and I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this but just to clarify the command center is pre adjusted to 58 PSI do I need to go into the handheld and set the PSI to that before starting, and last we're going from points to your ignition system in the master kit any recommendations on spark plugs? As always thank you for a great system and great support
Do y’all have any higher hp builds. I bought the jackpot and looking to get 800-1000 on e-85
Putting the dueces wild on a turbo 1.8 4 cylinder. Would love to see boost control as well as knock sensor
What motor?
@bolsoturbo Isuzu g180
I was wondering if if I could start with a basic kit and add on later on down the road or I have to start where I want to be later on.
Appreciate the response, but realistically speaking a’guy doesn’t necessarily have to wait for the latest update to explain/ expand on some more of the more common tuning features!
Awesome guys keep up the good work ! The future looks bright.
3rd Gen Camaro, should I get the short or the tall manifold?
Hey guys I have a sbc 355 with a racing cam for circle track racing I ordered the kill shot and high roller classic with the surge tank and got the pdm, would it be possible to get all the right documents to how to make it all work together. And would it be smart to take it to a dyno and get them to tune it for my kind of racing because it’s going to be wide 3000rpm to 7000 rpm with no idling time Thanks for what your doing
How about a set-up for a 50 Ford F1 with a flatty 3 97's and keep the classic 3 x 2 look
