That was awesome!!! Hope that helps some of the newbies with their systems!!! Look forward to you guys expanding into the set up and tuning of the Killshot. Suggestion: Make that video into a QR code and add it to every box you ship out at the top of the instructions cover sheet.
Is there any chance of you guys making a video about the basics of the tuning software? Maybe addressing some common things people run into and what to look at to start the tuning process ( like a bog when the throttle goes wide open under load, and the stalling when pushing in the clutch for us manual guys). I'm new to this and trying to learn everything I can. I have a killshot on my car. Thanks
Excellent video series! Good start. I remember ( not you , aces..) when contacting the factory reps, the contacts you make have to ascertain a rapport, back and forth conversation. Whether you want it or not, questions thru the " script" guide them through the process. Sure, you might be frustrated by having to go through "the process", but it's necessary. How do they get experience? Training. The script helps them towards that experience. Anyway.. a call center person might not even be in the same state as the distributer. A caller might be frustrated, getting across an answer might just make it worse. Escalation calls are not fun. I imagine this comment will just trigger people, when in fact, it should not. I love learning!
So, this is kind of a big deal. I have your fuel pump but it constantly is running at 58-60PSI. In the software, it's automatically set to 43.5 for the injectors. Does that mean I need to change that to 60? Would that cause cold start issues?
Any chance you would consider selling a kit with just the killshot ecu, wiring harness, and whatever is needed to hook up a laptop and program the thing? I don't see any reason why this ecu would not work on my 1995 honda civic as a standalone ecu controlling the 4 injectors and using the magnetic 4 point VR sensor in the distributor as a pickup and just building my own engine harness to hook up a gm 3 bar map sensor, wire up to the factory TPS, use a GM coolant temp sensor, ect... Given that your replacement ecu is only $200 on the website I think if this could be sold as just the ecu and a wiring harness and made to work in a 4 cylinder applications that just use a basic distributor it would be an way more affordable and popular option compared to the other standalone ecu options on the market (Fueltech, Haltech, AEM, Ect...)
You should make your own injector kit's 120lbs,140lbs,160lbs with the scalded data so customers can just buy them straight from you, even offer different sizes from factory.. The easier you make it for the customer the more successful you will be
From what I've seen and heard, what your customers need is LIVE technical support. No pencil pushing "non technical" people on the phone reading from a script.
I’m installing a kill shot next week, I think it’s a great quality product just from inspecting it and doing the mechanical side of installation. This video however is not that. It looks like it was filmed on a potato and audio is only on one channel. Please fix this so your production quality of these videos reflect the quality of your product.
It's got 5 connections Why are "car guys" complaining? I got this kit installed in two hours And I've never built an engine or worked a shop as a technician Two hours I was finished
Some folks just dont know how to read….but your right….i come from the LS world and have ran several fitech and terminator X setups on different builds….and about a year ago my son picked up a ‘67 mustang with a 289….so naturally we put a killshot on it and it was literally a walk in the park and the results were night and day…..if your mechanically inclined just a little bit then you should have zero issues with this system!!!…..i reccommend the aces killshot over any other tbi efi setup just cause of the fact the ecu is remoteley mounted and not built into the hot throttle body like all the competitors….its a no brainer and the price is right on time!!!
You don't have to take it apart to void the warranty. As soon as you take it out of the box the warranty is void. That's what they told me when I called them.
Yea I don't belive you for a second. I've seen people in forums and groups having issues with their systems, contact support and support fixed it or sent them a new unit.

I appreciate how you guys work hard to make things as simple as possible.
Perfect drag and drag system. You can buy the parts at any parts store. Awesome!
Just purchased a kit! Pumped to try it out. Thanks for this video

Nice product 😎🏴☠️
This helps out a lot gives me more insight on the product
Nice work Tim!
How is it supposed to handle boost if the throttle shafts aren't sealed?

Is the fuel level added yet? Just ordered the top end kit
Excellent explanation. Thanks
What do you recommend for a stock slant 6 with turbo. 10psi.
Would a kill shot work on a Holden 308 motor v8 out of a commodore
If I am running a killshot and high roller which how do I run a single screen?
Thank you, keep up the videos
😊
