Summer, this is amazing!! The lighting information is especially helpful. I’ve struggled to understand the difference between light levels in my own space. Seeing the huge window I thought you would say it’s a “high light” exposure. The breakdown of light intensity, colour/temperature and direction makes it so much clearer (I have to move some plants 🥴). Thank you!! And thank you Damon for sharing your beautiful home. These Back to Basic videos are great. My daughter and I have recently started greening up the inside of the house, these videos have been very useful, especially where you have talked about lighting.
This would be such a good series of you going into people's houses and giving them a houseplant home makeover. I watch this quite frequently and it's so much fun seeing the different ways you get around certain hurdles and your reasonings for certain plants.

Wow. Your knowledge is insane! South African looking into botany and am showing all my friends your videos. You remind me of my grandparents and how can point at every bush and identify its scientific name and origin. Beautiful.

Amazing, Summer. Just when I was wondering what to watch tonight, this video was uploaded. This is just the kind of content I love. Well done and thank you for all your hard work.
I got three medium-small size plants in my bedroom and my mental well being over all has improved significantly. I also noticed less dust particle in my room and the humidity level is perfect. The plans also act as sound cancelling and the dull green leaves decreases my anxiety episodes.
Hey everyone! This video is for all my devoted viewers and subscribers who have not only requested longer videos-but also for all of the plant newbies out there who are looking to apply what they're learning. This was an incredibly challenging video to shoot-logistically-speaking, so I all hope you enjoy the fruits of our labor! I'd love to hear in the comments below how you've been applying what you've been learning here. (And as always, thanks for watching and subscribing! It DOES make a difference!) 💋💚
Summer Rayne Oakes Summer, your friend is easily enjoyable (very peaceful energy; I can certainly understand why you two are friends). His goals are totally obtainable, and for the most part, his desire to incorporate plants into his space reflect what all who cohabitate with plants want. He’s lucky to have your expertise to bring his hopes to fruition. This was a thoroughly enjoyable video. It just goes to show that there’s NO need to be put-off by living in a concrete jungle, especially when living aside plants is an option. You both are charming 💜. Damon, the Chinese Evergreen is a lovely home Plant Damon, too. I invite you to take a second look - particularly at the nontraditional evergreens like the Red Siam (low-light, No fuss, lots of beauty) it’s a BONUS!

You 2 should date. I felt a bit of chemistry between you. Also his place is beautiful. I love the huge window wall. I thought even he could put a shelf in the window ceiling and fill it with plants. And just imagine what shadows appear on the opposite walls and the ceiling.
I just finished watching this (August 2020) and I want to know if the plants survived especially the ones in the bathroom, if the ZZ plant is now taller (with only a grow light helping it), and if he got more plants. :) I love this channel because the production of the videos is impeccable. I'm a fan! :)
I have enjoyed many "Plant One On Me" videos, but this one is my favorite. You decorated Damon's home with common, easy-care plants, setting him up for gardening success while respecting his budget. I realized a few weeks ago, as I surveyed my home, that the plants I love most are the healthy and happy ones not necessarily the most exotic. I think Damon will feel the same way.

I fell in love with their chemistry
He being an awesome student n front of this beautiful knowledgeable girl
I think Damon will feel the same way.
you can clearly see that you had so much fun doing this!! i hope i can see similar stuff like this home makeover i love it!!
glad you enjoyed the format!
I literally bought one plant and have been obsessed with your channel ever since. This episode was incredible and I can't wait to make over my home with more plants! Learning so much from your channel.
Your friend sounds like an ideal man.
