I ran this back several times because of the pure joy Phoebe radiates and the warm way in which you "invaded" her space and engaged with every aspect of her environment. I loved this visit with her and the beautiful way in which her personality is on display in every square inch of her space. Thank you, Summer!
Alex Papasozomenos can’t you see they aren’t trying to control a virus? But controlling the people.. A mask does jack shit against preventing a ‘virus’ unless you are wearing a hazmat suit
I went to Puerto Rico in March and brought home 7 plus plant cuttings.all just sticking out of a gift bag lol not once did I think of not being able to bring them with me oops!
How can anyone gives this video a thumb down.. Her apartment is so organically decorated with the plants.. it's beautiful!!! Especially the bedroom!!! The video is on point!!!
Aw my beautiful friend Phoebe! She had the biggest smile on her face the entire time! You can easily tell how happy plants make her! Thank you for this awesome tour! P.S I’m the friend that visited her in New York & brought her the monstera albo hahaha! 🤗
The camera work is fantastic. One example is filming their reflections in the mirror during part of the discussion. Such a nice complement to Summer Rayne’s work.
I so love that there is a trend to the return of houseplants! Reminds me of the 1970’s when I lived in the Hollywood Hills and had many much loved houseplants, as did most other people I knew. I now live in the Seattle area and have a couple of east facing windows with plants in them, and sliding doors going onto a north facing balcony. I keep loads of fuschia, coleus, impatiens, and other less sun loving plants there in the summer. I recently found a kind of beat up old baker’s rack I am going to spray paint and put inside right in the center of the sliding doors so I can add more plants. They will need to be lower light, but there are so many. I love orchids and have a big beauty I plan to put on top. This video was so inspiring. Thank you to both ladies!
Her plants are so beautiful -- we definitely have similar tastes! She's such a good plant-mom. Thank you for showing the possibilities with a north-facing window!
I love this episode so much!!!! Phoebe is like a walking sun on earth! Such a joy listening and watching her talk ❤️ I find myself rewatching it occasionally, when I miss my friends. Am I weird? 😂
The level of energy in that interview will perk up some plants. Love Phoebe's little touches all over her place. And a sudden quiet intermission 16:10 featuring Phoebe's planters collection accompanied by little wonders was just a catch of fresh air. Alina's art piece, plant tarp featured in My Petite Garden channel, that little orchid display next to Ficus Audrey and others. What an inspiring curator piece.
I love this episode in every aspect; the vibes, the beautiful plants, Summer, and for Phoebe who just shows so much compassion for her plants. Wish y'all a good year and courage to beat through these hard times!
She is adorable! As a fellow city dweller with North windows I relate to this. I LOVE the ficus Audrey! I never thought north windows and a grow light would be enough for one!
I am glad a video has showcased north windows. They are underrated. I have floor to ceiling north and south windows. In the past two years I started putting plants in my north window. My low light plants are smacked right into the low e windows and perform much better than several feet away from my south windows. I really believe the north windows offer the "right kind of light" bright indirect with more foot candles during the day according to my reader, even on cloudy days which I estimate 50/50. On a personal note I have never had scale or mealies in my north window and would love to hear other people's experiences. Wonderful video Summer!
Phoebe thank you for allowing us into your beautiful jungle❣️ I particularly fell in love with your Colombian pots. And I so appreciated your love for the arts. Summer, may we please pretty please request a tour with Alina?!?! Would adore to see a plant-lover/artist combo tour❣️❣️❣️
So inspirational. I now have hope that I can grow so much more in my north-facing windows. Love that many of Phoebe's plants are rescues as well. A beautiful home with beautiful plants. I enjoyed this episode very much. Thank you.
I love this low light plant tour!. I too have north facing windows. she just made me want to invest on more plants and grow lights. so excited for the spring /summer season, plant shopping!!!
I follow Phoebe but had no idea she was growing her amazing collection with North facing windows! I'm sure the grow lights help a lot but it's nice to see more of what people with lower lighting situations do to adapt. Thanks for sharing and looking forward to more home tours! (Especially Alina's!)
'Low light' is so misunderstood indoor plants compared to common garden plants, this is an important video. My north facing room with plants has a grow light too even with my large window.
🌓 Yes, waking up to another amazing video, love the young lady home and her and boyfriend and the cat personality is so sweet and chill. I can’t wait to see more amazing videos, I am learning so much about plants. And my home is also a beautiful jungle, so many plants that I have other plants at my friends home, I’ll grab those as we are leaving Alabama , can’t wait to move to Florida soon, I’ll have the space to ready go crazy with my collection and my plant nursery. Summer Rayne thanks so much for starting your UA-cam channels, you have impacted me life and so many more in a incredible way. Bless you for being authentic. Talk to you later on love🙋🏾♀️💕🦋
I have a north-northwest facing, small window here in the Philippines. My plants are thriving too. I also use cheap growlights to supplement the low lighting in the room and, yeah, plants are happy. 😊
Plants are also universal. I know there are also plants that only grow in the Philippines. Watching Summers Vlog really learned a lot as if i am also travelling with her to different places and knowing new variety of plants. Thank You so much. I wish Summers could also visit Philippines and visit Famous Plant Collectors here in the Philippines. Salamat at Mabuhay
Beautiful collection, apartment, and I love Malaysia. Visited years back and it was fabulous. Great food and hospitable people. Definitely, hoping to go back one day. Another great video. She's very creative. I love the terra cotta lamp pot.
I just love this video. It's so exciting to see how it's still possible to have a beautiful garden in a small space with lower natural lighting, a reality for many of us.
What a beautiful and fancy collection, I loved every plant she has! Also she has an excellent taste decorating her apartment and styling her plants with those awesome pots. Great video!!
Lol, 😆 the smuggle is real. I was so disappointed last week when my mother-in-law told me that my cuttings were confiscated. To my surprise, everything was packaged and tucked in the suitcase. So excited.
I have a similar light situation at home, it was fine until they put a giant billboard in front of my windows and half my plants died right away or got leggy/sad. I had resigned to the plastic plant life when I found your channel. I´ve been slowly re building my indoor garden and now I`m starting investing in growlights. This tips and videos are so useful!!!
Summer every plant person that you’ve had in your show, is such a happy person! I keep telling people to get plants they do make you happy! ❤️❤️ nice space!!
Beautiful, all my Orchids are in North /East window so they get morning light the rest of the day they are in shade, I have a maidenhead fern which was failing so she is now with my Orchids and very happy . Thank you for the tour ☺ 🇬🇧
Thanks for the apartment house tour.Beautiful and happy plants she have just like her...I hope you can take us more for house plant collector and enthusiasts tour.
Very inspiring. I think the difference with the North windows is that they are super large, letting in as much light as possible. I'm pretty devoted to cats and I find they like me to rub inside their ears (and clean hands afterwards).
Awesome episode... the vibes, the plants the smiles everything is amazing.... and so inspirational to see all these lovely healthy plants glowing in a north window....
Summer Rayne Oakes, I appreciate your guidance through this plant journey with your amazing contacts, clients, and friends. As I watch each session; I'm feeling a new sense of hopefulness and joy. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and care.
This apartment may be north-facing, but this is not low light, it is medium indirect light. Great video, nice collection and lovely people, thanks for sharing.
We both got tested for Covid before doing this episode, had temp checks, and I wore a mask, so we felt pretty confident about doing a tour without her wearing a mask. It's fine if she wears one too, but the audio gets pretty garbled as a result. Before these house tours, however, we get tested. It's been too long since we've done tours, want to start doing them again, and at some point, life goes on....There's ways of being responsible around it, and feel by doing what we do in advance for preparation, we're being both responsible and sensible.
I LOOOOVE house plant tour from Summer 😍 My ficus Audrey is struggling sitting next to a south facing window (it keeps dropping its leaves). It’s amazing she kept hers so healthy with growth light.
This is a wonderful video. So many of us have low light and look just how amazing these plants are getting along 🌿🍃🌵💚🌱 I want a Ficus Audrey 😯 So beautiful 🌿 The cameraman did a great job filming this 👍
This is heaven on earth. Thank you so much, Summer and Phoebe, for giving me such an inspiration . I love the house plant tour series, and this one is definitely one of my favorites.😍👍
Great tour. I really enjoy seeing how other people display their collections. I've been hesitant to drop the cash for that light, but this makes me reconsider.
🌱🌿🌱What. A. Film‼️🌿🌱🌿I was so thoroughly engaged and was both smiling till my cheeks cracked and laughing at all the funny plant humor! What a sweet woman and such a nice connection between two people who love the same thing... Plants.🌿🪴🌿
So cool plant collection and it's arrangement (wooden shelfs, pots)! Especially I like climbing philodendron and monstera adansonii - they are so wild!
I ran this back several times because of the pure joy Phoebe radiates and the warm way in which you "invaded" her space and engaged with every aspect of her environment. I loved this visit with her and the beautiful way in which her personality is on display in every square inch of her space. Thank you, Summer!
This warms my heart deeply!
So glad you enjoyed. And yes, Phoebe radiates goodness. :)
I wish I could like this comment twice! This video was a delight!
Same!!!!
I love how natural the conversation was in this tour!
Totally! Like old friends
Nothing natural about that mask, sorry
@@suzys937 Summer caring for hers and Phoebe's safety is not for you to criticise, I'm sorry.

@@suzys937 go away darling
Grandmas, we need you do smuggle some very illegal and high-demand stuff.
People's grandmas: weed?
No, variegated houseplants.
hahaha!
snicker snicker. I'm glad you can appreciate the humor in having the image of a sweet old granny smuggling in plants...
Best part is grandma will do it. Grandma a G
I went to Puerto Rico in March and brought home 7 plus plant cuttings.all just sticking out of a gift bag lol not once did I think of not being able to bring them with me oops!
Thanks to this episode, I am able to mentally endure this pandemic a bit more.
I was happy we could start doing more tours again! I think they really do help :)
Salam persaudara'an.. saya dari indonesia
How can anyone gives this video a thumb down.. Her apartment is so organically decorated with the plants.. it's beautiful!!! Especially the bedroom!!! The video is on point!!!
Because they may not be into houseplants and don’t want it to come up in their feed. Or they’re just bots. It happens.
They don't have nothing better to do.
It was thumbed-down by people in the east-facing apartments who can't get anything to grow 😂
Thumbed down because of the stupid mask.
Aw my beautiful friend Phoebe! She had the biggest smile on her face the entire time! You can easily tell how happy plants make her! Thank you for this awesome tour!
P.S I’m the friend that visited her in New York & brought her the monstera albo hahaha! 🤗
Can you bring me one too? 👀👀👀 🤣🤣
Omg what a compliment, thank you Paula! and Thank you for the hook up! ;)
Good to see a fellow Malaysian featured here!

Malaysia Boleh! 🇲🇾
Wow, I'm really impressed how crafty people get in such tricky situations.
This has been really inspiring to me!

There's a Filipino word for when something is SOOO cute that you just want to squeeze it! It's called "gigil" (pronounced like gheegle)
In Spanish it is called "ancias"
Baby cheeks soo cute you just wanna squeeze!! Dame ancias
So what do you mean
Her plants are so beautiful -- we definitely have similar tastes! She's such a good plant-mom. Thank you for showing the possibilities with a north-facing window!
You are so welcome!
So glad you enjoyed it!
It was such a delight showing you and your plant family the Jungle home in this video Summer Rayne!
I love this episode so much!!!!
Phoebe is like a walking sun on earth! Such a joy listening and watching her talk ❤️
