I want more Batman titles with Rodger Craig Smith. Kevin Conroy is always great hands down, the best Batman voice, legendary. But it gets repetitive hearing him too often. Rodger in Arkham Origins is a very emotional Batman, letting his anger control him. I’d love to see him play a Batman who’s has overcome that anger and utilizes his very intimidating interrogation more effectively since Batman becomes more self-aware in later years.
I will always love Roger Craig Smith's batman, because his voice for batman is literally something criminals can fear, I also like Conroy but his voice doesn't give the sound like a nightmare

I still remember booting up the game after my father came home with the collector’s edition many years ago. I was skeptical on how RCS would sound. But after finishing the entire game later on, I was far more impressed than what I had assumed. He did an excellent job. Although when I heard of Conroy’s passing, I was upset. How I would never hear his voice again in future Batman related things. But I do hope that RCS takes the helm. Because I would be more than happy for him to carry on Kevin’s legacy. If he can alter Sonic’s voice to sound more mature and stoic in Frontiers, I’m sure he can make Batman sound older to fit the theme.
Both are done amazing with the roles they are given, RCS is given a younger, ferocious and beginner type Batman while Conroy is given a more experienced and patient Batman.
Idk man I think Conroy doesn't fit Arkham batman he sounds too old, monotone and devoid of emotion. It's clear he wasn't trying in Knight he even said so but overall Roger is batman his voice is very befitting at least more than Kevin
Kevin sounds calm even though making it terrifying But roger is angry as hell he sounds like he could rip a person in half and I wouldn't want to get him mad
I love Kevin Conroy's performance. For me, is unbeateable. But, sincerely, I liked Smith's performance as well. Sounded like a young, angrier and more unexperienced version of the Dark Knight.
Honestly since Kevin Conroy is no longer with us, Roger Craig Smith is the only person I want to take his place, at least in the video games like Arkham and Injustice going forward. Mark Hamill said he’s done voicing Joker since Kevin is gone, so Troy Baker and Roger Craig Smith are the next best voices for Batman and Joker imo.
Smith's voice is actually quite great and suits the character well but being such a diehard fan of Batman The Animated Series has made it really difficult for me to fully embrace anyone outside of Kevin Conroy. Conroy is the Batman voice I hear in my head just like Mark Hamil and the Joker.
Kevin Conroy will always be the most iconic caped crusader but he's starting show his age. He would be perfect for a Dark Knight returns or older Batman. I think Roger would be worthy successor.
Conroy excels in the brooding, intellect and experience sound area, the definitive Batman voice, like how John Kassir is to Deadpool. But Rodger Craig Smith is as much as a GOAT. A different flavor, his interrogation voice is fear incarnate and he brings the vengeful and fear inducing down amazingly. Smith as Batman and Troy Baker as Joker are the true successors and GOATS too like Conroy and Hamil.
If I had to be interrogated by Arkham Batman. I'm choosing the older Batman as young Arkham Batman is so hot blooded and angry. He won't hesitate to beat the mess out of you. Still if Kevin Conoy's dead then DC should give Roger Craig Smith or even Tory Baker another chance of playing Batman because they were excellent at voicing Batman and even though they can't replace Kevin Conroy. They can live up his legacy as Batman so if we need a Batman. DC knows who to call
Arkham origins batman, modern sonic, and boom sonic: *spider-man pointing meme intensifies* Literally every other character Roger Craig smith has voiced: *joins in too* Literally every other version of sonic the hedgehog with different voice actors than Roger: *also join in due boom sonic and Roger’s version of modern sonic being there*
What's ironic is that Troy Baker is in the same game Roger Craig Smith is in and he's done a great Batman voice that's incredibly close to Conroy's own voice.

I just found out Roger Craig Smith is the same guy who voiced Ezio in Assassin's Creed.
He also voices Schedule Bot from the Powerpuff Girls, Thomas from Regular Show and Percy and Belson from Clarence
RCS- Intimidating
KC- Authoritative
My alarm clock: 1:05
Me: 1:06
I still remember booting up the game after my father came home with the collector’s edition many years ago.
Can’t believe Sonic voiced Batman.
Conroy feels more patient. Smith feels alot aggressive. But both are undeniably talented.
Roger Craig sounds like a character in Call of Duty
Both are done amazing with the roles they are given, RCS is given a younger, ferocious and beginner type Batman while Conroy is given a more experienced and patient Batman.
Roger's a decent batman but Kevin's voice is just so iconic
Idk man I think Conroy doesn't fit Arkham batman he sounds too old, monotone and devoid of emotion. It's clear he wasn't trying in Knight he even said so but overall Roger is batman his voice is very befitting at least more than Kevin
Rodger does a great younger Batman voice and Kevin does the more experienced Batman voice. I like them both
Kevin sounds calm even though making it terrifying
But roger is angry as hell he sounds like he could rip a person in half and I wouldn't want to get him mad
R.I.P Kevin Conroy...
True
Batman really channeling his inner Italian hedgehog.
“You want teeth-I want answers!” is such an underrated line.
For me, just like Troy Baker sounding like a younger Mark Hammel Joker, so does Roger Smith sound like a younger version of Kevin Conroy Batman.
Unpopular opinion but i like RCS more but i understand that KC voice is more iconic
Fair. Very unique opinion. Any particular reason you prefer Roger?
1:03 that ANGER,
"They grow up so fast"
Wow i'm so used to Roger Craig Smith as Sonic that I had no idea he was the batman voice in the game.
Smith's voice is actually quite great and suits the character well but being such a diehard fan of Batman The Animated Series has made it really difficult for me to fully embrace anyone outside of Kevin Conroy. Conroy is the Batman voice I hear in my head just like Mark Hamil and the Joker.
Both are great in their own right. RIP Kevin Conroy
roger craig smith needs to take the mantle now that kevin conroy has passed
I like that sonic guy. But. Kevin was the legend, RIP Kenyon Conroy
I get what you're saying but Roger is a lot more than just "that sonic guy" 😭
@@ThaGavMan999 yea I know but like. Sonic and Batman was my childhood. And I would like to keep Batman Batman and sonic sonic
He's literally well known for being the Ezio guy and the Templar guy who mocked Ezio. Classic case of talent and irony in fiction.
@@Assassin-js1jp also Chris "boulder-puncher" Redfield
They're both perfect for their roles, Origins Rodger for a young and more aggressive batman, Conroys Older and patient batman.
I think Kevin conroy is the better batman but I think it’s insane that sonic is also batman 💀
Ezio as well
It’s way past cool.
Kevin Conroy will always be the most iconic caped crusader but he's starting show his age. He would be perfect for a Dark Knight returns or older Batman. I think Roger would be worthy successor.
Roger Craig Smith would be an awesome live action Batman
Conroy excels in the brooding, intellect and experience sound area, the definitive Batman voice, like how John Kassir is to Deadpool. But Rodger Craig Smith is as much as a GOAT. A different flavor, his interrogation voice is fear incarnate and he brings the vengeful and fear inducing down amazingly. Smith as Batman and Troy Baker as Joker are the true successors and GOATS too like Conroy and Hamil.
"I am the reason that criminals breathe easier when the sun rises." - Rodger Craig Smith
I just realized that last scene, when Batman is raising his voice at Alfred, is Batman’s Heisenberg “I am the one who knocks” moment!
I’m completely jaw-dropped at Roger Craig Smith’s range. Batman, Ezio Auditore, Sonic! Seriously. What else can this legend do?
Kyle Crane in Dying Light too. Didn't know it was him until i looked it up. He also does BatMite in Lego Batman 3.
Arkham origins batman, modern sonic, and boom sonic: *spider-man pointing meme intensifies*
Literally every other character Roger Craig smith has voiced: *joins in too*
Literally every other version of sonic the hedgehog with different voice actors than Roger: *also join in due boom sonic and Roger’s version of modern sonic being there*
The writers hold back Roger in SEGA
I absolutely love Kevin Conroy, but Sonic The Hedgehog did a awesome job aswell even tho I haven’t played Arkham origins.
Both. Both are extremely masterful and magnificent.
I'd accept Smith as a new batman if they ever rehire him again as batman
What's ironic is that Troy Baker is in the same game Roger Craig Smith is in and he's done a great Batman voice that's incredibly close to Conroy's own voice.

Roger craig smith play batman, ezio from assassin creed, mirage from apex legends, chris redfield from resident evil 5, sonic, cell from drago ball z...so whats your point
What's the comparison for?
Kevin Conroy is gone, but we still have a voice actor who can take his place as the voice of Batman, Roger Craig Smith, our new Batman
I just think of Chris Redfield whenever I Hear Roger Craig smith lol
Roger Craig Smith so incredible voice actor. Chris redfield, captain america, batman... He is one of the best I think.
Don't forget Ezio & Sonic
@@firehedgehog1446 who cares about sonic
@@firehedgehog1446 what an odd reply
He's also Belson and Percy from Clarence
