WOODTURNING stunning form with beautiful metal leaf gilded inside.

This is a big alder form that I wood turned so that I could experiment with a new type of metal leaf, it is hard to see in a photo but i think that it has lots of potential. Using gold leaf and other metal leaf with wood works well I love the light it brings into the piece and how it changes as the sun hits it.
I am a woodturner working on the West coast of Ireland. I use wood that I or find or that get blown down in storms, of which we have a lot of.
