WOODTURNING stunning natural edge alder vase with fantastic spalting

I am still trying to get my new woodworking workshop organized and work out what goes where, but I took time out to make this piece. I have being doing quite a bit of alder lately and really enjoy working with this wood I'm hoping to do a few more pieces with it. i think that i could have made the curve below the rim a bit deeper but other than that I'm very happy with the result.

Awesome bowl. Just wish I could dry wood like that. My blanks always crack when drying

Thank you, where i live is quite cold and damp, so the wood dries slowly doesn't crack so much.
