woodturning a oleria log in a end grain asmr style video, I don't know this wood well but it seems to oxidase very quickly and change color all the time. At the start it seems very bland but when i turned it and cut through the layers i found all sorts of colors, the wood turned from white to blue gray. the wood is very wet so i don't know if it will crack as i turn it bet fingers crossed. Sorry Ernie, had a lot going on, opened a new shop/studio, sold my house, moved in with my 98 year mother to look after her, so all go, but will be back doing videos soon, and will show the new setup.👍

Thank you, I use the woodcut pro-form for hollowing, I find it very good, but it takes a bit of work to get the hang of it.

Hi Jim, it's the crown revolution hollower, it's a good and quite flexible tool, not too expensive.

Well I've only tried a little bit but seems very good, I'll have to give it a go on a few different things to get a good idea.

It's also called the daisy tree, I think it's from new Zealand, people planted a lot of them around here.
