woodturning a oleria log in a end grain asmr style video, I don't know this wood well but it seems to oxidase very quickly and change color all the time. At the start it seems very bland but when i turned it and cut through the layers i found all sorts of colors, the wood turned from white to blue gray. the wood is very wet so i don't know if it will crack as i turn it bet fingers crossed. Yes, thanks, I opened a new shop/gallery/workshop with my daughter who is an artist and sold my house to move in with my 98 year old mother to look after her, so a lot going on but still making lots of work, just no time to film it, but soon will.

Thank you, I use the woodcut pro-form for hollowing, I find it very good, but it takes a bit of work to get the hang of it.

Hi Jim, it's the crown revolution hollower, it's a good and quite flexible tool, not too expensive.
