I've been playing this game since 2013... 11 years now and they feel like yesterday. I remember walking slowly until reaching level 10...buying a speeder etc. the game used to be a lot harder back then but also more generous. Anyone remembers when heroics needed more than 2 people and they were fiving you crystals to buy (sort of) endgame gear? Well, it's a lot easier to do a lot of thing now. Even side quests could be a challenge, especially at the start without a companion. It's so nice, funny (9:31 - I almost -force- choked myself laughing) as well as nostalgic...
Waiting for Zanny to discover pets and animal mounts...his reaction will be so pure and adorable. Very happy he picked this game up its my personal fave!

This game is a gem. Some of the best storytelling content in any MMO. Gameplay is tons of fun and the customization is vast. Plus the raids are really cool.
Dread Palace is hands down the most atmospheric and thematic raid in MMO history. I don't think even FFXIV can compete, Dread Palace is just a masterpiece of thematic game design.
@@DragonoftheDarknessFlame Thats what it did for me. Played WoW for 13 years, switched to FFXIV to play until level 50 and got tired of it and now I'm having the best time in swotr. But spending just a little really does go a long way if you’re wanting to put a lot of hours in :)
Singleplayer content storywise is quite strong. If you pick jedi sentinel or guardian you kind of get kotor 3 storyline as to what happened to revan and the exile and you can kinda play as their successor. One can definitely argue though that because of that you can argue if it really is a mmo if the story part is best experienced solo with npc companion. Only fully experienced consular story which was kinda adjacent to that but more forceorientated and mystical but interesting none the less
@@hanli5416 I played through and completed every class story, some I enjoyed more than others, still I felt like every story fit the class very well. The Sith Code of Darth Baras: "The cake is a lie, there is only Pie Through Pie, I gain Calories Through Calories, I gain fat Through Fat, my belt is broken. The snacks shall free me"
I'm so jealous. I would love to experience this game for the first time again. The Sith Inquisitor storyline is just as fun and evil, with more force lightning.
"Recite the Sith code" Characters head: Well, there's the dark side and there's the light side, the dark side likes coffee and doughnuts. Problem is, the light side drank all the coffee and ate all the doughnuts, so now, we gotta go kick their asses.
Hell yeah, this game is amazing! Been waiting for so long for somebody I like to make a video on it. It looks like you have everything mostly under control, but I think I can help answer a few questions. First of all, yeah, especially in this particular storyline, there are a lot of racists near the beginning, but it does get a bit better later on, but people are pretty much always at least offhandedly mentioning slaves. For more technical things, run/walking is a keybind that you can toggle, and if the pop-ups are a bit overwhelming, you can use the UI editor to remove anything you think is unnecessary, or just go without a UI, if you are looking for a more cinematic experience (this includes removing nametags in the settings menu). For companions, if you don't want them to attack everything they see you can set them to passive so they won't fight at all, and you can also change their roles from the healer, DPS, or tank (also companion clothing stats make no difference, so you don't have to give them your old gear). Speaking of appearance, in the equip menu you can switch over to a cosmetic tab to change your appearance without affecting your stats. Other than that, it is mostly small things, like most of the good looking speeders and mounts must be either grinded for or paid for in real-world money, if you want an easier time getting gear you can join or make a guild if a mission says heroic 2+ next to it it is meant for 2+ people, and if you want to work for the light side (probably not) you can change your alignment by clicking the blue star next to the red triangle. Also yeah one time passwords suck. Have fun, this game is awesome.
Some other things to mention. First, if you run far enough from aggravated enemies they will lose interest in you. So in areas dense with enemies feel free to just ride past them if you just want to do the story. (this only works if they can't do too much damage to you). Secondly (as mentioned in a different comment of mine) use the galactic market and buy yourself good gear there instead of what the game gives you. Third, try the smuggler class. They have the ability to stun people by kicking them in the nuts. Lastly, planet ratings are guesses, not hard rules. For example, Depending on your gear and abilities, a level 21 can take on a level 25 planet or get smashed by it. The only way to know is by going down there and testing it. Higher leveled planets give more credits and experience so there's is no reason not to try. Anyway enjoy the game and remember to kill younglings whenever possible.

Kinda crazy. I started playing this randomly. Now Zanny posts this and we have the same drip, same story, same choices, and giving Vette the same armor. The universe has been revealed to me
I feel the dark emotion that drove Borrger to the dark side was envy, specifically at the fact he kept having look at everyone’s sick rides while being denied them.
Hey Zanny, don't know if you'll see this but this video was hilarious, I've watched it like 20 times in 2 days, I'm glad you're playing star wars games again👌👌👌👌

i know right!! its so fun watching him go through the same pains and annoyances i went through, especially until he realizes the truth of the game, they pay to look cool and have a easy ride mechanic (good old EA)
11:18 actually one of the jokes is that the Sith Warrior is basically the Empire's nuclear option, and over time as that becomes more and more obvious the people who choose to fight you despite knowing who you are get more and more hilarious. On the very last planet, some loser smuggler thinks he can beat you despite also knowing you're the Emperor's personal Executioner.
1) It's not a spoiler. It sounds like one to people who haven't played... but it isn't. It's about as much a spoiler as saying "in the Empire strikes back, the Empire strikes back." 2) It's a 10 year old game. The statute of limitations for spoilers has passed like 5 times over.

Not 16, 8. There are a total of 8 classes, there are a lot more sub classes within those 8 classes, but only the 8 main classes have their own stories.
"It's the modern star wars community." Please don't compare the star wars community with the Order of Revan. One's a place filled with crazy cultists that will burn everything to the ground if you insult Revan. The other is the order of Revan.
This game is honestly great and it's a shame you haven't played it before now. Every class has their own story, and Imperial Agent, Sith Inquisitor as well as the Sith Warrior and Jedi Knight are considered the best ones!
The story is fun, but if i have to play trough another 90 levels of anything after playing one class to the end. Yeah Not gonna happen, I hate mmos. Sith Warrior storyline was great though.
Been playing SWTOR for years, it's definitely overwhelming at first but once you figure out what the hell's going on it flows pretty well. Definitely better with friends but the main storylines/DLC can be completed solo without issue. Overall it's a fun RPG set in the Star Wars universe, glad to see it receiving some attention here!

The fast travel is a skill in abilities list. Which I think you're right is P. You can then drag it and set it on your toolbar. It took me 300 hours as a new player before I realized lol
@@PeferG17 oops I thought it was on v. P opens abilities. Just check v anyway. I think that is the default hotkey for fast travel. If not u can set it in preferences and keybindings. U can also add more hotbars in UI settings. How many u can have is determined by if ur f2p or preferred or sub.
Wait there is fast travel? I have played the game for more than 4 days and i was just stupid walking i even buyed a speeder to go faster
It's so nice, funny (9:31 - I almost -force- choked myself laughing) as well as nostalgic...
i started 2015 and i remember the data crystals from heroic missions being the only way to buy armor mods

@@Bradley22449 hello there
Hell yeah, this game is amazing!
Are there people that get offended about fantasy racists and slaves?
A guild? ZAN-CLAN, WHERE YOU AT?!?!!
Also there’s multiple docs that you can get all together by buying the subscription
