I do like how the Wii version didn't have imp guards with lightsabers everywhere, but had that one shadow guard just show up sometimes and he was so cool when he did
The PS3 version had busted QTE icon graphics for the Star Destroyer scene, it fully told you to push the sticks in a direction and then it wouldn't do anything, you had to push both sticks in completely different directions than displayed and just briefly ignore what you were being told and guess what you needed to do... From what I understand the latter stages of the game were heavily rushed and there was a large amount of interference during production process with rewrites and such, plus the budget and team being stretched across all the different versions (PS2, Wii, PC/PS3 and I think there was a Nintendo DS version?) it just meant that with the deadline it shipped as an unplayable mess in places.
@esmeecampbell7396 Yeah, if you watch the Dev commentary Sam Witwer streamed, they mention that the PS3 version especially was delayed due to them not getting access to the Sony Dev kit I believe. The Wii/PS2 versions ended up being more complete as well.

It's a good time even with the jank, the constant hard-stuns/ragdolling some enemies can catch you with can be frustrating but it's a physics powerhouse funhouse, it's mindboggling how nothing like it has been tried since the second game, we need another physics based sith powertrip simulator.
@@bubbajoe117 Yeah, watching how all the different systems work in tandem to cause chaos is incredibly fun. Definitely encourages a very fast movement style of combat since yeah, the hard stuns and lack of i-frames on the ground can be annoying, so the best tactic is to keep enemies at range and avoid their attacks. I found Force gripping or pushing smaller enemies into walls, bottomless pits, or explosives and Force lightning stronger enemies to be best. Even enemies that resist Force powers and need lightsaber attacks work best if you can isolate them by tossing them away to a corner with Force grip to wail on them before you get surrounded.
Two gaming generations ago and those face models still look mighty impressive. I'd love a full remake but that seems unlikely with Disney trying to make people forget how fun Legends could be in games.
