    I have been learning alot from your videos! Can you do one on curing green algae water? Keep up the great work 👍

    • @NORIaquaCh
      @NORIaquaCh 3 роки тому +3

      Official WASABI Moderator: For green algae water, do a 100% water change and turn off your aquarium light. You must do a 3 to 4 day light black out. Cover your aquarium with a light-proof blanket or cloth. During the 3 to 4 days, do a 50 to 80% water change. Alternatively, you can use Seachem Excel, but that's only a short-term fix. During this time, you must clean your filter daily. Additionally, you must look into upgrading your filter and the biological filtration media using Seachem Matrix. Hope this helps!

    Thank you for the great video. I have a little question about placing co2 diffuser in the tank. Does co2 bubbles from diffuser have to travel all corners of the tank or not ? Thank you very much

    • @NORIaquaCh
      @NORIaquaCh 3 роки тому +3

      Official WASABI Moderator: Hey ErHaN, if you inject CO2, it is imperative to make the CO2 circulate in the aquarium. To do so, place the CO2 diffuser opposite the outflow of the filter. This will ensure that the CO2 has a good opportunity to diffuse and distribute around your aquarium. If you do not do this, the CO2 will just rise from the CO2 diffuser and bubble its way to the top! Hope this helps! ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ

    Can you make a video on "New tank syndrome" & how to fix it.

    • @NORIaquaCh
      @NORIaquaCh 3 роки тому

      Official WASABI Moderator: A good filter with good biological filtration media, such as Seachem Matrix, is good enough to advance from 'new tank syndrome'. Add in some biological bacteria starter, such as ADA bacter 100 or Seachem Stability, on day 1, and allow the tank to cycle with plants and a good substrate for 1 to 2 weeks prior to adding livestock. We hope this helps! ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ

    I am having trouble with plants growing outward but not upward, I have 2 fluval 3.0 lights and I am trying to do a dutch style planted tank using soil topped off with eco-complete, I have a inline Co2 system,....does this mean my lights are too bright and should lower the brightness?

      @NORIaquaCh 3 роки тому +1

      @@supersixone7414 Official WASABI Moderator: To allow plants to grow upwards, strong lighting is required. We recommend you check whether you have sufficient liquid fertilization and having CO2 distributed around the aquarium (instead of it diffusing out of the aquarium - a major issue). Hope this helps! ʕ•ᴥ•ʔ

      Official WASABI Moderator: Is the black colour due to the plant leaves decaying? Or is it something black, but bushy growing on the leaves (this is black beard algae)?
