I did this on my mix set. One track was 100 bpm and the second track was 125 bpm and it worked perfectly.

This is the true proper power of sync that the trolls can never admit to. Great example for those not familiar. Thanks as always

Very good! Beginner here.....You make using the tempo slider look easy. Anytime I touch mine it goes nuts!! Way too sensitive. Is it because controller is so new or do I need practice lol.

Very helpful information. I always was scared to go to a higher Bpm that would sound terrible! But with this I can feel confident I can make my transition smooth and easy on the ears!!! Thanks again!!

Thanks Phil ! this is very helpful.. Often times when the BPM are that different, I would just normally drop it on the one but this is a very creative little technique !

In my opinion, I don’t really like sync, but I think it’s fine to use when jumping up or down a lot of bpm. I do typically have to use it for that reason a lot since I have the ddj 202, the bpm fader is very small.

  • @georgevickers404

Am I reading that right - that 30bpm jump was over just the 8 bar outro?

    How are you
I have a technical question about my DDJ-1000
The Master deck doesn't swich automatically when loading a new track..
Sometimes I has to press sync bottom to activate the master deck.
    Before it works fine.
Any idea how to fix this problem

And as always, finished playing around for a few dozen tracks and go to youtube for lunch and now there is more dj tutorials to mess with..
Also cant seem to find any videos on it, but does anyone know an easy way to work with two songs that are different time signatures or harshly fluctuating bpm? I have one annoying track that seems to switch to 3/4 time when it gets to the drop sections and just doing a basic drop swap feels really weird for pacing

Does anyone know how to take a track off of sync? Because after doing this I tried to mix in another song but the tempo fader would not work even when the sync button was off.

    • @djaustinb7
      @djaustinb7 4 роки тому +2

I'm not sure if its only my controller, but on my controller you hold shift and click the sync button.
      hope this helps!

Used to mix hard house in to dnb before and loved it! Wicked way to transition but.. Last few times I've tried it though it seems it half the bpm even on 120 so if I was going from 120-100 it would be 60bpm and then slowing it down would end up at 40bpm spinning me right out well annoying.

How do I get the song I just loaded to synch with the song that is currently playing? Like literally, what is the exact order of buttons I press? what has to be pressed first and then second, etc?
    Thanks.
