I can speak on the WarBlades from South Africa. I have the drop point version called the warrior. Price is extremely fair, oem by kunwu. Legit knife with great fit and finish. Action is on point.
I just got the crossbar version of the Kunwu Padre in the mail today and I couldn't be happier. I love fidgeting with my crossbar knives by using just the lock, so it doesn't bother me most of the time that the detent for blade hole flicking feels spongy. And you probably said elmax first because the crossbar version is in elmax, so you weren't wrong.
Been saying for the longest time that the GiantMouse Tribeca in ti is their best knife. The Italians did a great job with it and I’ve heard there MagnaCut hrc is 62-63. The knife is the perfect substitute for those that can’t or don’t want to spend the money on a Oz Rosie.
Great list as always! I’ve been watching reviews on Herman knives for a while now and you somehow are able to sell me on them better than anyone. Your acoustic comparisons of the different models and how you talk about them really drive the point across. A Herman will be my first foray into the $600+ knife category I can almost guarantee that!
I would definitely love to see a Vanax vs. Magnacut video! I’ve always been very curious as to how optimally heat treated Vanax compares to optimally heated Magnacut. I know Magnacut it’s probably tougher and Vanax beats it and stainless, but I’m curious to see which edge will hold up longer during actual day-to-day use
Dude, when you dropped the WE knife, you and I both said "oooohooohoohoo" 😅 I know how I can get an edgebstupid sharp, so I can only imagine what yours would do.
I am lost in translation,,, lost betwin all the differents knifes. There is a lot to much ... There is a lot of them i like. But i think i will stay classic. Benchmade Bugout. Spiderco Parra 3, and Microtech Ultratech. And for the beast one, a Chaves Redention ..! ^^ That will be sufisant for me ! ^^
I've sharpened my Katsu ZK-T1 in zdp-189 once on my worksharp so it can definitely be done. ZDP is an absolute bear to sharpen though and I spent all day doing that one knife.
Despite owning all of them, I truly dislike kunwu’s crossbar locking knives. I also wish they could do hollow grinds, but the padre is fantastic, one of the easiest and hardest firing front flippers ever, w incredible reverse flick too
Do you think we will see the death of the plunge button lock now that the top liner lock/compression lock is something everyone can put on their knives
I really want a Rockstead, so freaking bad. Jarod, I am looking at a few blades. I’m wondering if you’ve gotten any experience with the Microtech Amphibian or the new budget Reate EXO M. I’m really wanting both.
I notice tsprof has resin bonded diamond plates now. They are expensive I was curious if you had used them and how they compare to the resin bonder stones you normally use.
hey brotha jman/jerad, LOVE all these blades , will faithfully n forever support you in all your vids and content 1 million % cool there as always , you keep em coming , i always learn from you , THANK YOU BRO , your the best > tom !
I just don't get the love for the Myoral. It _LOOKS_ great and I love the thumb-hole in the blade but... I bought the same exact one you have in this video after so many people said how great the liner-lock version was and how great the new version was now too... IMO it feels cheap, the lock has the weakest springs and is already showing lock-rock, the detent is non-existent and the blade despite being thin and looking "slicy" is just abismal. Oh then there's that god-awful clip... The "top-liner-lock" Raccoon on the other hand is one of the best knives at ANY price IMO (feeling lucky to have gotten one and waiting to buy 2 more just to have them) and as a functional tool it puts so many "nicer" knives to shame. The Cross-bar lock version makes the Myoral look like a pile of garbage IMO. The Vosteed is MUCH better knife if that's the type of lock you're looking for and IMO they do an even better cross-bar lock then Kizer does.
Are you smoking cheap drugs? I know the owner personally. I know multiple guys that were involved in the testing and prototyping process. I've handled and tried the prototypes. This is a totally unique design from the ground up. Do yourself a favour, buy one and try it. It's an amazing knife at a amazing price point. I can promise you if you spend 5 minutes with one you'll have a totally different opinion.
Love Katsu knive designs!
For me, the Katsu has been a usable Rockstead. No Complaints.

No “BANG!” today???
Man , I was expecting the Bang again , what's happening !!
We need the "BANG!!!" !!!
I feel empty.
@@lando8913 What's the meaning in life without bang-ing 😂

I do love my Tirbeca in Ti with that beautiful brass back spacer! The only complaint is its heft. It is very heavy.
Grail knives, Kunwu, Herrmann. Good video Jerad. Thanks
That Hermon there is beyond ridiculous!
Great vid Jared

Yes Vanax V Magnacut
Hell yeah!
I can’t wait to get my Katsu, I ordered the upgraded version of the knife you have, it has 23 layered zdp-189 with a mirror convex.
The padre surprised me too! Great video!🍻🍻

Where can I purchase the war blades??? Great video man 👍
3:37 in my best Palpatine voice: dew it
Thanks for sharing
I want to see that vanax vs magnacut video!
On the website right now, there's an Ishtar with black and red fat carbon inlay in the pivot. That thing...
Dude, when you dropped the WE knife, you and I both said "oooohooohoohoo" 😅
I know how I can get an edgebstupid sharp, so I can only imagine what yours would do.
You and Metal Complex should take a trip to Poland to see Hermann’s operations. That would be a cool trip
Yeah that would

Is a convex edge difficult for a novice to sharpen? Curious if it's possible to sharpen a knife like the Katsu on my Worksharp Precision Adjust.
I've sharpened my Katsu ZK-T1 in zdp-189 once on my worksharp so it can definitely be done. ZDP is an absolute bear to sharpen though and I spent all day doing that one knife.
The Warblade reminds me a lot of the Civivi Praxis which is a great knife. Certainly not a copy though.
Yes to vanax vs. magnacut

The acoustics on that dragonfly get me hot 😅
That War Blade will be hard to come by.. Very cool knife for sure!!! I want it, but.. 🤷🏼♂️😔
The Dragonfly is one of my grail knives.
With the likes of x-padre, are they not better edc when you have them with CF scales? (131gr vs 161gr ) or does that make them feel less premium?
Yes please do vanax vs magancut because i feel like vanax is overshadowed for no reason. That padre though.
New Moyarl available on their site.
Do you think we will see the death of the plunge button lock now that the top liner lock/compression lock is something everyone can put on their knives
I like the Chinese/Japonese straight one.!! ^^
Absolutely nice blade reminds me of the Civivi Praxis .
Sweet video bro 🤙🏻🔪
That Anubis has peaked my interest...
Some how some way I'll get a Herman Dragonfly some day
I really want a Rockstead, so freaking bad.

yes vanax and magnacut off
Please test the Vanax vs Magnacut and what do you guys think of s90v like asher or jackwolf there heat treats seem great imho.
Wish they'd make a Herman budget 250ish
Is it just me or does the tribeca and the beccero have a ton in common. I bet Jesper voxness(or however it’s spelled) designed it
Kunwu padre Fram lock reverse tux- microtech anax dlc- which u pefer?
hey brotha jman/jerad, LOVE all these blades , will faithfully n forever support you in all your vids and content 1 million % cool there as always , you keep em coming , i always learn from you , THANK YOU BRO , your the best > tom !

That Herman looks huge
You buy WE knife now...only dropped once.😂
I want a test betwin Vanax and Magnacut !! ^^ and Lmax, and S35VN, and NitroV ..! Please. ^^
were you really _that_ "surprised" by a Herman knife being good??

.....bang ?
Please, please add graphics to the videos: prices, names, etc.
i do not wish to listen to the whole spiel without getting the details.
Warblades a tweaked china catalogue knife
No, my friend, both knives was designed in South Africa by the owner himself.
