I really love this camera and sometimes watch such commercials (though some of them could be fake like this one:)
I may lose my job at Canon but folks need to know this: , then 5DMk3 will be renamed 5DS 1 - with USB 3.0, a new dual core enhanced digic5 gen 1 processor to handle a burst rate of up to 10 fps at 40mp. It will have an all new body (weather proof) body and and ISO enhancement to 128k. Additional features include all new accessory system and enhanced HD video feature. It will feature a one touch button (like 7d) to switchable RAW-JPEG. The biggest problem they are having now is PARTS.
sadly i wish this was true its been said that canon rant going to start production on the 5DM3/6D for at least another year and a half just because they don't need to. the mark 2 is still being brought like crazy. they are even getting backlogs where they aren't getting them out the factory quick enough. really good video its just a shame we won't see it for at least another year.
@SapienHunter you are extremely wrong is the all the way around... Nikon got no filters or aliases on the images Canon do. I known many people at Canon and did you known what they always say to me? Canon if for people who don't known what is post production because the camera as "standard" have so many correction to give the picture a post production look one of the most examples: search on google is the first link: Nikon D7000, D300, D3 (D700) and Canon 5D Mark II High ISO Comparison

I'd say slow it down a bit, less shots, and more from shot to text, not with so much black. Now it looks a bit like a generated slideshow... where's the timing! Nice attempt tho, hope the 5DIII will kick ass!
@tommyjones1978 I've read about Nikon images being better.. but that is because Nikon runs the noise reduction algo on all the images it shoots. Good, but when you try to do post production work, such images are not good as they tend to give that smudged look. I have compared canon and Nikon images at semi-pro/mid-range SLR level and except for default CA reduction in Nikon (on Canon too but not default), the images are same quality. Also sharpness of images depend on lenses more
@SapienHunter I dont own? lool ive 2x D7000 1x D3000 1x 600D and worked alot with 5D mark II... and i garantee you that the Nikon have a better image! BTW im working on the documentary industry so... i knwon wat im talking about!

LOL you got nothing right. xDDD The high-ISO performance, accurate viewfinder, 61 (or 60-something...can't remember) AF points definitely impressed me, despite it being about 6MP and about 4 FPS short of this "commercial". :D If i had the money, i'd still save for the Mark III instead of the Mark II. LOL, are the megapixel wars still around? Do you still believe that more pixels = better quality? IQ wise, both the D800 and the 5D Mark 3 are equivalent. Theres no separating them. Depends on what system you are already on. Canon shooters with lots of Canon equipment should stick with the 5DM3, Nikon shooters with lots of Nikon equipment should stick with the D800 or whatever Nikons are available. Sigma shooters should abandon ship.
What's with the bouncing titles and the bouncing still shots? If you're going to make a fakey, at least make it look real. No ad just tosses text on the screen with a fade in and immediate fade out. The purpose is to go sloooow and let things sink in. They don't if you're quickly yanking away images.
I suppose that the 5D mark III wont have 45 AF points xD... thats more like the 1D series xD.. I would of loved to have one if this was true... as my 2nd camera

But I want more than speculation, rumor etc. Come on Canon - we loyal customers need more consideration. I got caught with the 30D being released 3 months after I bought a 20D - I wont have this experience again.
@ 0:31 u can tell its photoshoped "MARK III" the 3rd "I" clearly a copy or the 2nd "I" (stamp tool) besides the editing wasnt that pro since its hard to read the txt. also canon just lunche the C300, i dont think they gunna linch 5D mk3 in the same year just my opinion in the end .. . too bad another fake :/
Look at the 31 seconds, the extra I is a clone with more blur, even the defects are cloned. I would expect a little more trickery in the details... plus the editing sucks too.

articulated LCD would be useful upgrade,very useful in video and studio environment. I use it a lot on my 60D for low level work.

@tommyjones1978 Those fileters apply to only JPEGs if you chose to use it that way.. I shoot RAW.
