The West, especially Colorado, never gets old!!! I love mountains!! Im so glad I can live vicariously through your travels Robert! They are the best!! Thanks so much for sharing your life!
Great video,,,,,,,beautiful Colorado Rockies.......I would like to visit those incredible places,,,,,,,,,,may be some day.........Congrats........I see you on the road........Love.......MOM....>>>
Robert, I will agree that is an amazing piece of scenic highway on I-70 East but for the most scenic road in America that award goes to, Going To The Sun Road! I know, we will have to agree to disagree on this one, ha!
I've done going to the sun too and i agree, but I was thinking more in terms of a regular road people take to get somewhere. Going to the Sun is a scenic drive and nowadays you even have to make a reservation.
@@TravelingRobert Oh yeah, for sure, as a regular road, it would be hard to top it. Yes the reservation system for the summer months is a drag, especially when you consider that the money for the reserve system goes to a private company, not back to the parks.
Hello, I have no more words of gratitude, every Sunday I am surprised more and more. I thought I had seen landscapes but this video is the best.Thank you very much 👌👌👌👌👌
A quick note - back in the mid 80s, my wife and I drove north/west on 24. The railroad bridge you showed (just after the short period back in Georgia) gave us a special treat - a steam engine pulling a long string of coal cars. I'll (hopefully) will always remember that. We also went through Rocky Mountain National Park back in the late 80s. Many of the sights have changed (trees larger or died off), and we stopped for lunch at the alpine lodge. Thanks for helping to refresh the memories!
51:06 absolutely breathtaking! Thank you for all your videos! You made us feel like we are really there! When you come back to Louisville you need to visit so much more! Probably should schedule it around Derby - not have to pay for a thing!😜
Could you hear me hollering? "Robert, stop watching the camera, watch the road!!" as you drove up that eroding dirt road... that had NO guard rails! LOL. From BadLands to the Rockies, and all the trails in-between... and then to that secluded campsite (I breathed a sign of relief when you drove off toward civilization). So much fun traveling with you. Thank you for taking us with you.
Robert, this is the second or third time visiting your channel and I am enchanted by it. Thank you for taking us along with you on these beautiful trips! God bless bro!
Now my wife and I have definitely got to visit Rocky Mountain National Park. Glenwood Canyon looks amazing, reminds me of the Wind River Canyon in Wyoming.
Watching that rainy drive up into the Rockies reminds me of a trip on I-70 that started with rain, turned to hail, then sleet and finally snow right after I got over the summit. Not fun at all! Your wildlife sighting at 35:14--as Jeff Lebowski would say, "Nice marmot, man" 🙂 I like the drive through Glenwood Canyon, it is so scenic. Plus there's a really nice bike path that runs along the river east from Glenwood Springs. I bet it would make for a fun e-bike ride (with a dip in the big hot springs pool afterwards). Happy trails!
whenever I go to Colorado, I have to acclimate a day or two before going up into the mountains, everyone warns about it. You were the first Rv'er I started following and now I have the bug....someday....
My Daughter, Grandson & son in law live in the mountains of Colorado…they love it there! Outdoors every weekend come snow or shine!!! Lol! She tells me every time to keep a bottle of water in hand to keep hydrated…❤️
Living in Colorado for 40 years, I've travelled your route many times. Great video, keep up the good work. I didn't hear you mention that Leadville is the highest incorporated city in the United States (10,200 feet).
Hello Robert, you seem to get better with each videos overtime. Glad the new Chevy truck this time does the job pulling the trailer a lot better. You have been an inspiration with all the beautiful scenic drives for a lot of people and that is very good for bringing the best of the USA to its citizens. Cheers from Oregon.
Sooo breathtaking! Sooo majestic! Thank you for taking us along to all the wonderful places you find. My hiking days are over so I get to hike vicariously through you. 😃👍👏👏👏 Be safe, Be blessed.🙏
Very enjoyable!! As a kid we went to Colorado many times on vacations. We’d camp out and do all kinds of hikes, fishing, canoeing etc and love every minute of it!!! Thank you for bringing back memories. Great video!
I greatly enjoyed this long video although I had to take a 6 hour respite in the middle of the video to take my Sunday nap and do some house chores. You really peaked my interest when you said Moab 😃. It seems that your new 4x4 full size pick up is giving you the confidence to be more adventurous; kudos to that.
Love the Rocky Mountains. CO is a very diverse state! We went through that part of CO to that campground when it just opened and was called River Run RV Resort. We have a 37ft MH and an Explorer and drove it. Beautiful views and campground!
Hello Traveling Robert, this was an AMAZING video, especially enjoying Rocky Mountain National Park. I have also visited Rocky Mountain National Park 3 times and has also visited Arches National Park and also has visited Canyonlands National Park. I can't wait to see what you have planned in Moab area. AWESOME video Robert!
I Drove Past That Same Place 2 Times A Week For Years, in A Semi Year Around For Years & I Can Totally Understand Why That Canyon Was The Place Where You Decide To Go Full Time,What A AWESOME PLACE That Was & Is 👍👍👍
Wow - what a beautiful country we live in. I'm enjoying the ride; feels like I'm in the passenger seat. :-)) Thank you so much. What a gift to share in your adventures. God bless you.
Thank you for these beautiful videos! We are on a limited budget this spring, so we probably won't be getting too far. We did a Badlands, Rushmore, Yellowstone trip a few years ago, and seeing you take the same route brought back wonderful memories!!
I love your sense of adventure and solo boondocking is right up my alley. Being a woman, older, doesn't bother me, but I am looking into getting Starlink for my cross-country trip. Just for places such as that, I guess. I do have an InReach, which I used for backpacking, and it could serve the purpose for emergencies.
We went to Estes Park when i was 13, and i was so terrified of heights so everything we did was scary for me, but i remember how beautiful it all was, now older at 64 i'm not so sure about hiking anymore lol, but we have the traveling bug, we might take amtrak from Chicago to Seattle, we'll see, i'd love to take a train sometime, wonderful video, thank you for sharing!
Eastern Colorado surprises many. Treeless wide open Great Plains as far as the eye can see. Those that have never visited expect Colorado Rocky Mountain High covering the entire state… Nope only half lol. Another beautiful video professionally done by Robert.
I went to Rocky Mountain National Park in 2021. My gps took me along the same dirt road with all the switchbacks. It was very unnerving because I was in a Camaro. Never had any problem though.
Beautiful views! I love the mountains! The water falls so beautiful and peaceful. I also follow SUV RVing Tristan 👍he do out of way boondocking. I love Utah so beautiful the orange cliffs such a contrast. I love Moab but Zion is my favorite 👍
Robert, I think you are the only one that we can watch such long videos. They are very entertaining and the picture quality is perfect on our 65” tv. Thank you. Ps. Where the heck where you going on that road at 1:07:00 towards the end. That’s scary but very beautiful.
Colorado is my favorite state to boondock in. So many excellent camp spots, well away from civilization! Utah is a close second, looking forward to the next adventure.
I enjoyed my time there in 1992, 31 years ago. We climbed the flat topped mountain seen at 51:17, 14,255ft Longs Peak. The trail comes up the other side and crosses over to the steep wall you see. I only made it to that point (over 13,000ft) but my brother in-law summited.
Robert, that’s the bear country, you should not be walking by yourself. Hope you had some bear spray with you. Stay safe and happy trails. Ps. Love the music! Very dramatic and perfect for the Rockies👍
I first saw your videos a few years ago and recently rediscovered your channel. Congratulations on living the free life and thriving at it as well! I remember being concerned about the old Kia Sorento SUV that you were using to tow your RV back then... Now to see you in full size Silverado makes me smile 😊. Well done and thank you for taking us along
Colorado is absolutely beautiful!!! Thank you for sharing!! The Views….Wow! Just Wow!! I have driven Trail Ridge Road from Estes Park to Grand Lake but we didn’t stop and hike!!! Maybe keep your hiking shoes in Starship😂🤪. Your music is amazing too!!
When we're traveling have always been a fan of Chesters chicken..I always get the tenders....I also like the little tacos Loves has inside too especially the fajita ones...
Love the videos. I'm guessing being down with the leg gave you time to do a ton of editing work! You are the best. Would love to see more Rumble content.
Whenever I want to take the stress level down, I know I can pray, trust the Lord Jesus, and even watch “Bob Ross” like videos. Thanks for all the excellent videos and music good sir!
We love your videos! We watched this one as we are planning a trip to Colorado. You stopped in Marion county, TN which is where we live! We were so excited to Chattanooga and Marion county showcased. Happy travels!
Robert, you need to check your map. After Chattanooga, you never dip back into Georgia. I agree with you on Monteagle. It is never as scary as it was with a 2 lane and all the runaway truck lanes. I always held my breath crossing it. Now it is just another interstate.
Working 7A-7P at the hospital today, and when I get home, watching this video is how I'm gonna unwind. Can't wait.
I was born and raised in Colorado. It is truly God's country. Great video! Thank you xo
@Maria CANCER praying for you ❤️🙏❤️🙏
Beautiful video Robert!! Thank you for sharing
Man you can spend a lifetime in Colorado trying to see everything. What an amazing state
