I feel like I can say this now,,,I started watching your "Driving to the west" series prior to this one, a few years ago as I was in my first stage of recovery from Alcohol and drugs. Those videos gave me a huge sense of relief and peace. Today I am much better and I go on plenty of road trip adventures of my own, which is something that I never even considered in my sick days. I'm on an adventure right now as I type this of Texas hill country. Thanks for the peace and relief that your content provides.
Congratulations on your recovery. I could definitely see how these videos would help. So calming, relaxing and peaceful. Hopefully all the videos continue to help, and you continue your journey. Great job, and keep it up.
Jason have you visited the cross garden I call it In Kerrville, Texas. It’s right on I 10. I find that there is a spirit of God and peace there. You may of already been there.
Robert, my daughter and I started watching you during Pandemic... we couldn't get out but we went EVERYWHERE thanks to you! We're still watching and still singing your "riding in my RV" theme song. We adore you and your videos... especially the long ones! Please keep them coming❤
Hi Robert, im so glad i came across your RV adventure. You made me sub so i can keep up with you. Thanks for the ride in the winnebago. Safe travels and God bless😊
What a beautiful journey. Thank you. Fir two decades, I've been a multi-lingual tour guide in USA, am back in Europe now, and watching your video I saw places I never visited and when you reached NV, I felt terribly nostalgic. Miss America so much, miss my job, seeing places, God's Creations.
Very cool Robert, Been a Texan all my life. Left Amarillo 45 years ago. Live in north Idaho now but still have family all over Texas. I visit quite often. I absolutely enjoy every vid you post. I have traveled along most every road you have and remember it vividly. You keep on keepin on brother. We live in Sagle Idaho and if your journey brings you this way we have accommodations for you you to stay until your ready to move on. Stay on your journey brother. Lots of this big earth to see yet. Enjoy life my friend.
Hey there Robert. I just finished watching your nearly 4 hour video. Excellent work. Started watching last night, and finished the last hour this morning. The way you shoot and edit puts the viewer right there with you. I hope you and Ily are back to full strength very soon. Big shout out to Ily for getting you both home. Looking foward to your live event tonight. #safeTravels
I lived in USA for 10+ Years and came back to India. But your 4 hours long Video having such magnificent impact on my mind that I started feeling that I badly missing those long Road Trips. Thanks, wonderful work!
Robert, it has been a pleasure to see this video even if it is almost 4 hours long and we have seen it in portions but very sad to see your injury. I hope you are better now since you are a strong champion doing those hikes that I would not even dare do in my health state. I know it was over one year ago but hopefully no long-term aches and pains from this injury. Let us know if you have a meet and greet in the Miami or Broward county area since we are from Broward. Love your content and wish you both the best.
“Driving to the West” are my favorite episodes!! So much so, than the one from a few years ago inspired me to do a cross country round trip in 2021! 😄 And I can feel the disappointment in your voice at the end of this one. I had an ankle injury 4 months ago but the good news is that it heals! And nothing will stop us from hitting the road again 👍
Your music is beautiful. Just put into the video at the perfect times. Also your music does not cover your voice up in what you are saying! Beautiful scenery also. We love your videos! Doris & Doug from Chattanooga Tennessee!
Thanks Robert I've never been to USA. I always watch your channel may God bless you and your family. The USA is a beautiful country hopefully one day I'll travel there.

I just so love watching your travels and I love the theme song. Watching you make me very happy... I feel like I'm traveling too! I never get tired of seeing all the beautiful places and faces! On the road, I'm always keeping an eye out that I just might get to see MinniTinnie 🙂 Love the idea of Pelicamps around the country! Being with you on the road never gets old!! Enjoy and stay safe.
Robert. My wife and I want to thank you. We’ve enjoyed your brilliantly immersive videos for years now. This one struct me. You drove by my office in the first seconds of your traveling into Atlanta segment. I’ve worked in the Richard Russell Federal Building for 13 years. We live in Canton which is 38 miles North of downtown and have never tried camping at Stone Mountain due to the terrible Friday evening traffic. It’s so close but so difficult to get to. Thanks for this video. We need to give it a go traffic be damned.
Hola Roberto! I have friends who live in Gilla Bend. They pronounce it “He-la Bend”. BTW it was fun to see our former stomping grounds -Cloudcroft, Alamogordo and White Sands! Thanks for sharing!
I just retired and am afraid to travel so I'm getting up the nerve by watching travel videos and yours are stellar! I was thinking about how much I liked the music playing in the background (as I often find the music intrusive and mute it) and then I saw that you create all your own music, too! I really enjoy your narration style, too.
😊very nicely made I liked the educational facts but really enjoyed the sounds and 🎶 especially the music. Keep doing what you're doing and most of all have FUN!! ✌

Hi Kaylan. Hope all is well. That was a great video. I'm going on vacation for the first-time in 8 years, and I hope to enjoy my time off as much as you do. Stay safe, stay healthy, and stay happy. Pops
Robert, I love your videos. My parents had an RV and would travel to Florida every winter from Illinois to stay with my husband and me for the holidays, then on to Key West during the month of January. Your videos bring back such happy memories. 🥰🚐 Most recently, I’ve enjoyed the long videos while packing for a move to another part of Florida. Your music and your voice kept me calm and thinking positive thoughts during the monumental task of making the move happen. Thanks for that! I hope your leg has healed by now. I must have been getting tape in another room when you said how it happened… just wondering what happened to cause the injury? Congratulations to Illy for driving all the way home! 👏🏻👏🏻 She’s a hero and an inspiration!
You did a great job on your video and you also did a great job on planning for the future. Hugs and kisses from grandma Cindy and Debbie. Thanks for sharing a wonderful video very inspiring and can’t believe how wonderful this all turned out a little piece of heaven wherever you go and you don’t have to worry about staying and paying rent on a campground space eating up all your money
Hi Robert, a year ago i decided to go down the stairs on my head. I thought i just sprained my ankle but after 4 days the pain wasnt any better. It turns out i broke the bone under my ankle. I was in a boot for 3 months! Feel better Robert and Illy. ❤
Happy to see someone who enjoys traveling the USA 🇺🇸 and exploring different Cities. Mrs Robert is a lucky woman. I have a RV but my age is getting up there to set it up. So I stay close to home on own. 🎉
I always used to wet classify in order to solve the issue you mentioned early on in the video. I think this would eliminate the possible problem of disturbing the flow while picking out larger pebbles/rocks. Basically keep your 5 gallon bucket full with water when classifying therefore stripping any gold from those rocks. Agitation with your hands while shaking helps ensure success during classification.
Good morning Robert...... depending un what continent you are. Just subscribed and really enjoy your content and all the intel that comes with it. I'm 45 mins into this video and I wish I could keep on going but it will have to wait till later. Just a factoid I wanted to share with you though. I've been living in S.E FLA since 81 and prior went to school in Gainesville. I worked at the front desk at the Hilton to make it through college and while there met a lot of interesting people and loved my job. One day the film crew and producer for Sean Connery's last James Bond movie, Never say never again. Got to know them and 3 days in they offered me a job that I coundnt refuse. Talked to my manager and he said go for it and you'll always have a job waiting for you here. I was hired to be a driver and errand runner and the pay was mind boggling for a 20 year old so I regularly pinched myself to make sure I was'nt in a dream. Anyways what I wanted to tell you is that almost all the underwater scenes for the movie where done in Ichetucknee, Palm, and a couple of other Springs in the area. All the actors were doubles and a wonderful man by the name of Big John McLaughlin was the double for James B. I can't say enough good things about him and we got a long really good. He sadly passed recently, 2020 and may God bless his soul. Look him up if you get a chance, I think you'll find him to be quite the Gentle Giant. I ended up getting tight with upper management for the movie and after over a month of filming they took me to Epcot which had recently opened. Life is good and you've got a great handle on it. Wish you all the very best always and be safe Sir. PS: Conchale manejas como un loco de bola no joda. Dale mas tranquilito mano.😅😅 Just kidding. I couldnt resist that one. I obviously like the go-pro on top of your trailer. 👍🔥
