I stop buying arousal paint cans and buy Rustolum that I can put in a paint gun, only because every time I go to use paint in my shelf no air in the can. I just mix some paint in a Harbor freight cheap paint gun. Paint job comes out good enough plus better results than a spray can.
The best clear coat that you can use is the "OH MY" 2k clear from BuyCustomPaint.com . Easy to spray, no cutting or buffing required ... if you watch THE LAST 5 mins of this video ua-cam.com/video/XwBl53nql4I/v-deo.html you will see how great this clear is... its definitely worth checking out...

You should have painted it a green color before you put on the florescent green on to get an even look without over coating the florescent spray

Did you clear coat paint?
Yes we did. The neon paint was pretty dull without it.
Is that a 60 you sprocket in the axle?
Yes it is. I had considered using a 54 tooth, but it's plenty fast with 60.
Antics Garage was it a 10 or 12 tooth on the tav?
I'm pretty sure it was 10.
