I'm really curious about Ginny. She said she was 4yo and a specialist, leaked a lot of top secret information to the world (or maybe just to Hachinosu, as a kid knows how to call home), and basically orchestrated the whole incident. She was 4 and just recently became a slave/prisoner. I mean, maybe she was the treasure of Hachinosu (like one calls his children their treasure), or at least I believe she was taken from Hachinosu. Maybe that's why Rocks was so eager to go there. I think this goes in line with Shanks being stolen from Garling as retribution. Well, I don't know, but is food for thought.
What I love about the God Valley incident is that the official story that they share amongst the marines is a lie. The pirates didn't go there to attack the Tenryubitos, only for the devil fruits. And Garp didn't go there to save anyone, he only wanted to face Roger, and we still don't know how or if they actually worked together to defeat Rocks. So the whole story was just bullshit, it's great! And I know that when we get the whole story, it's gonna be incredible!
Hello, i'm ok with you on the part that everything is not what was writen, but not sure devil fruit is the main reason because Oda would have tell us (and he did for LinLin and maybe Kaido). Here he wanted "not to say" what the hachinosu treasure was.
If i have to gess i would say it's the red poneglyph that we later see in Big Mum castle.also i'm ok with you Garp goes there for Roger but i'm sure when he saw the marines fighting all the pirates crew (even alongside god saints) he just have to join one of the biggest fighting (probably with hype) and thinking it's a good exercice for his team.

@@CoryWaldon in japanese there no such thing as Jewel of the crown it must be a metaphor of the traduction. In japanese it's writen: " ARE wa Kaizokujima no takara da! ". THIS is the treasure of pirate Islande ! And to be exact "ARE/THIS" is writen in katakana with two big dot on the side wich is used by Oda (but i'm not sure if every mangaka use it) for something that he will explain later. ( like Garp knows, Kong knows, and we will know).
Kuma is the real hero of God Valley incident.
That final page might be one of the best in recent One Piece. Seeing two children who escaped slavery break down in joyous tears because of their renewed hope for life is just- man, I nearly cried when I read it, and I’m tearing up a bit just writing this comment
I find it very interesting Oda decided to put in the line of "if you are born to be a slave then why be born at all?" from Kuma and he is saying it to one of the highest authorities in the world to his face. Then later Kuma willingly turns into a slave. I'm so curious to find out why.
my guess is something like this :
-ginny died
-kuma asked vegapunk to revive ginny via cloning (bonney)
-vegapunk agreed on one condition that he was allowed to experiment/research on kuma's body (out of curiosity)
-the wg found out and said either kuma becomes their cyborg slave or bonney dies

This solidified for me that Kuma is going to allow the SH’s to escape egghead. Kuma is going to meet Saturn again in the flashback and then once more in the present to finish their arc.
The use of the word treasure and jewel has me thinking about Luffy and the StawHat. Rocks was protecting something at Beehive, something that was important to him. Maybe even a crew mate like Robin, and they are on a rescue mission.

I think that Garp chasing after Roger is in parallel to Smoker chasing Luffy. It's not going after the most established pirate but more like a personal vendetta. Think back to the Smoker, Ace and Luffy interaction in Alabasta
The more I learn about Garp, the more respect I lose for him. He only cared when Roger was involved. Never mind all the murder victims or potential disaster, only call him when Roger shows up. He was supposed to be better than the rest of the Navy. Supposed to be. I suppose it's good Oda only shows us this now, had he done it earlier I would feel very differently about Garp's last stand.

i think youre right about luffy df having nothing to do with rubber. even the lightning and bludgeoning immunity is something he passively get from believing his df is rubber imo. he could be immune to slashing damage too if he believe he is now made out of diamond or something for all we know.
What makes it even funnnier is that rubber isn't immune to lightning. If struck, rubber will melt and burn like crazy. Lightning is 5 times hotter than the surface of the sun.

The WG didn't expect a response from Rocks at God Valley. The location of the games was a secret as far as the WG was concerned. Ginny leaked the info and that's how Rocks and Roger got to know.

Stelly also got to see the Empty Throne....a low level Nobel got that opportunity and was allowed to utter the words "becoming king of the world" in that same event. Look at York...they said, saveresearch. mother flame, and the reseaech. Even the God knights have some orphan activity in their ranks.

Any reason that the Jewel of the piirates couldn't be a poneglyph? It would give the WG a reason to go out of their way to get it.

I think "jewel" was a figure of speech used in translation, and not actual thing.
Also, Kaido called it useless to Linlin, and Poneglyph would in fact be pretty useful to her
@@nihili4196 The jewel and what each pirate is after might be different. The "jewel" doesn't have to be one of the prizes. The other pirates might all be after gold and devil fruits while Roger and Rocks want the jewel back.
After learning that Gloriosa was on Rocks's crew at the time, I definitely want Hancock to learn about the God Valley incident, and see her reaction on whether Rayleigh was right or wrong to help Celestial Dragons, as well as how Gloriosa's "beloved" wasn't truly in the right assuming Rocks never intended to save the oppressed & enslaved.
Small correction: Ochoku was not a thriller bark zombie. Captain John was confirmed a zombie and i think we might have seen Silver Axe. Ochocku (Wang xhi) later became the head of hachinosu and blackbeard took the island from him at the rocky port incident

Some people think that the change from the Freedom Fighters to the Revolucionary Army was Ohara, but what if it was not Ohara, but something chocking that happens with Kuma? In a delicade situation, that the awnser could be violence, Kuma chose kindness, and then Ginney died. This would be a big suffer form Kuma, Ivankov (and possibly Dragon) and would chance their about what they should do
Or maybe, is what change the perception of Dragon and Ivankov, Kuma continues with the same attitude, that's one of the reasons that he turns into a puppet of the government
Didn’t Shanks describe how Ace acted was the same as Roger? If that’s the case then I could see it being the case that Ace is a more accurate representation of Roger and not Luffy, aside from them sharing the same dream. If that’s the case then maybe Luffy will be the representation of Rocks and the reason that no one is able to make that connection is because they erased Rocks from history? Also, with it being established that Blackbeard is a history buff maybe he learned something about Rocks that pointed to him being related to joyboy and that is why he has so much respect for him and named his ship after him? With that said I can also see parallels between Rocks’ crew and Blackbeard’s since, I would argue, the members of Blackbeard’s crew under normal circumstances wouldn’t have joined Blackbeard

More like 5 years or more. It'll take 1 year for the anime to catch up to the manga and we haven't left Egghead yet. No big secret has been revealed. Shanks, BB nor Dragon have made a big move, the final poneglyph has not been found, we still don't have the final straw hat etc etc. The fights alone will be dragged on for about 3 years, not to mention the big reveals and fillers. 😂

This chapter just expanded to us readers how much more story there can be later on by having more inter-family dynamics within the Celestial Dragaons. Ever since then we all thought it was just them vs. the world but here I can guess its like they have their own neighborhood in Mariejois and have inner drama and more characters within them unlike the generic Celestials first introduced.
The Rocks Pirates are like the coolest kids in class forming a group like damn I know Roger pirates were OG but they seem all over the place but seeing the Rocks together just gives the vibes like damn even if they're all in it for themselves they seem like a UNIT
P.S. imo it just makes the Rocks Pirates much more interesting because each one has their own personal ambition compared to the Rogers pirates or even the Whitebeard pirates who mostly only highlight their captains (much like the Strawhats like JB said)
I feel like Oda uses capes/jackets to garment a leader or at least someone with a strong will to be on front. Roger is the captian and the only one with a cape, while on the Rocks pirate, several members are wearing capes and hats as well. They're all trying to be on the front at the same time and its suffocating them.
I think the thing with garp and Roger might just be that they knew each other before they chose to be pirates and marines respectively, so they have a personal rivalry. Both grew up in East blue and it wouldn’t be that surprising if they had met before they started their journeys

I think both Atlas and York are clones of Ginny. Ginny is a glutton, has a temper, gets physical when angry, and is a genius. We can find all these traits in Atlas & York, based off their appearances. They’re both Vegapunks, so they’re already smart. Both have a connection to food; York is the glutton, while Atlas created the food machine. Both are capable of violence; Atlas punched out the hologram, and York assassinated Shaka. Not to mention the correlation of them leaking information and hacking codes. There’s too many similarities here.
Not to hate but calling Ginny a genius is a stretch shes good at stealing and wiretapping which if you’re poor and gonna survive those are some skills you might pick up plus is she a glutton or is she starved of food from how her life has been, york is closer in looks to bonney than Ginny and visually Oda uses character look alikes regularly especially with women. But if at least one of them were clones why would vegapunk do that? Like there should be a reason behind it if that were to be the case.

Everything was left in "one piece", which is also the name of the story oda is writing. And in the logo, often times there's a figure of a person in a stawhat. Originally assumed to be luffy, but is now it can also be either joyboy himself, or more likely it's a metaphor. Oda loves takin traits from characters of prior generations and scatter em among the current age of characters. Everyone has a little bit of someone prior to them. But no one has 100% of anyone before them. momo and Yamato have oden in them. Many people have some of Roger, and Roger only had some of joyboy/Nika.
The actual theory, I think the one piece is the ancient kingdom itself. Those that's not a new theory, the reason why is new. I think joyboy, leader of the ancient kingdom was the truest form of sun god Nika. In that, he had near omnipotence. Whatever he wanted to do, he could do it. But his imagination was far less simple than luffy and his "punch everything" mentality. I believe everything we see in the story of one pieces present timeline (of significance) came from joyboy and the ancient kingdom. The will of D. Personality traits.
Joyboy managed to gather people from all parts of the world that he met in his travels. And there were a decently sizable amount of powerful and powered up fighters. The kingdom had everything that can be had in any other land. Along with the people from there. And animals to an even greater amount.
After the great war of the ancient kingdom, joyboy lost, but refused to let his nakama fall with him. In the last moments as a "crew" tried to save as many people as he could, using the paw paw ability (not from a fruit, just him imagining he could do it). He clears out the entire kingdom of his friends and crew, each sent off somewhere far and safe.
The battle ultimately lost one on one, the eve tree was used to absorb literally everything, animal, plant, thing, and put the souls of all these things in fruits. If it had a voice, it becomes some sort of fruit. And joyboy, bein the only person left to be absorbed, also becomes a fruit. But in his limitlessness, he makes multiple fruit, will was far too powerful for one fruit alone. The Nika fruit is the one that encompasses his want for freedom. But all of his other abilities, which are powered and created by dreams/imagination, became all of the other paramcia fruits. Joyboy, was literally OP. any fruit ability we've seen and will see, joyboy can do. Just because he wanted to/thought he could. And the elements that naturally exists became logia fruits.
After everything was absorbed, there was nothing. Nothingness. Only a massive space where everything once was, and no longer is.
Only the tree with roots that went further than the abyss it created.
Along with the Nika fruit, all of that energy used, had a somewhat of a waste or by product. Much like a fatigue that had to escape out of the tree. This gave us the first instance of the yami yami fruit. The same blackness and nothingness that used to be the kingdom.
I believe the one piece is in the black hole that's in the marine territory. It's always been protected, by marines who don't even know what's in the darkness. The only one who would be to remain in existence in the void of nothingness, is someone who can become nothingness or at least manipulate it to their will. Black beard will find the one piece before luffy.
A story of creation and destruction. And it's hyper meta connectivity and inception level degrees of separation. It's all "one piece". One some "everything, everywhere, all at once" kind of energy. Oda might actually be a mad genius yo.
I also believe that eve tree was over fishman island as the next massive kingdom to be absorbed after the next few centuries or so later. The promise to the fishman was a promise to save them from the fate he suffered, and just barely managed to keep his friends from suffering. But now he's gone and knows it he won't be there to do it personally. But that if then passing of wills will alow his to continue until it finds the most joyboy of the "joyboys". Being that luffy is in what we assume to be the last and most current generation of D. And possibly the new Born D clan member. Luffy is the last and most potent accumulation of joyboy to exist in 800 years. After him, there's no need for the passing on of the D, at least not as a symbol of hope, but of one of liberation and free folk. the D will no longer need to be hidden. The light brought by the dawn brings everything that was hidden out to light.

Ochoku aka Wang Zhi, was alive, he is either locked or killed by Blackbeard during the Rocky Port Incident, when Koby became hero and BB took over Pirate Island.
When Bonney uses her distortion future, she looks like a Buccaneer. But also, she was mistaken by someone named Conney in Mary Geoise
The crown jewel of Hachinosu is the Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika. Pirates are descendants of Buccaneers who are from the Great Kingdom.
I was also curious about the gas mask kid, also none of the gods knights appear to be presumedly inbred? Although I suppose that could just be because Oda is trying to design intimidating characters. Btw how do we feel about Buggy having biological ties to someone on Rocks’ crew? He did really want the bracelet Luffy got from Thriller Bark that was the key to Captain John’s treasure. Awesome vid!

I was under the impression that it was referring to Gods Valley as the crown jewel. As if it was under their protection or something.

People are stuck and want to know more about the god valley battle for which we already had a story from Songoku. But the main chills I am waiting for is Kuma engaging with Dragon. As of now we know very little about Dragon like his abilities and strength. Dragon is the strongest person alive who has a chance to stand against Imu.
From my point of view Oda is cooking more towards the end game instead of past tales.
Since luffy doesn't care about the past so does Garp and I think the same trait goes for Dragon.
Getting a story from the WG in OP is like getting news from CNN.

Theory: The one that will kill Saturn is Kuma. Somewher on Egg-Head he has stored a giant Pain-Baloon where he collected all the pain from the slaves the revolutionaries freed over the years. He will kill Saturn with the pain the Tenryubito caused to those people.

People constantly in pain does change their demeanor as it’s activating parts of the brain that make it think it’s in fight or flight constantly and needs to be aware of threats.
It drains someone. All they end up knowing is pain and no reprieve. It exhausts the hormones and chemicals your brain produces when in pain, and that depletion can cause severe mental illness and other issues.
Gear 3 always made sense because you had to remember that Luffy was both rubber and human at the same time. The ability had him blow air into his bones and make them larger. They were still human bones just bigger and capable of more damage

Being guilty of wanting too much though, I do wish we saw more of God Valley, even just a little bit more; Kuma saving the 500, where Linlin went with Saturn showing up (like how did he escape that too?), more faces. But I'll be patient.
It was a great character chapter though, we buffed up so much factions and characters. It's huge that Ginny was the mastermind of the incident, leaking information to the world to create distractions (which may however be a reason for her being killed off), Ivankov showed more of their leadership quality, Kuma is just amazing, God's Knights look interesting, tacheless Roger looking so much like Ace and the Rocks pirates! Shiki finally getting to debut in manga, Elder Nyon was a Rocks Pirate member, WB got that rizz (was WB the one Nyon left Amazon Lily for to cure her love sickness?), Captain John seen actually alive, potentially Silver Axe and Ochoku too, god how did they lose?
Like what we got from Garp too, a lot more easygoing one who is only there for Roger, and yet despite Rocks and Roger there he's seen as a reassuring presence, also the irony of Garp like 'you don't shake the hive' when in present day he shows up, shaking the hive XD I'm more at liberty to believe also that Rocks wasn't after the Celestial Dragons, nor were Roger and Garp protecting them, it was just how it looked on the outside (I expect teen Morgans got his gig being a WG sycophant before becoming the underworld boss he is now)
The stolen artifact could be the egg, could be something else, not even sure if that's what Rocks and the crew were going for either. I also feel like there has to be more than just Kaido and Kuma's fruit in the prizes for God Valley, gotta be at least one more to complete the top 3, it's just that those 2 were important for escape, the egg is perhaps one prize, maybe the Ope Ope no Mi? Or Doffy or Marco's fruits? Seems a bit dark to put baby Shanks as a prize but then again we are going full ass slaughter in God Valley, the slaves have targets on their backs! I wonder if the Shark Fishman slave is a relative of someone we know? Jinbe? Arlong even?
The Moria connection is there, but I also thought it was there for Wano so I'm a bit wary of that one.
Kuma and Ginny was wholesome but in the 'this is gonna break us' kinda deal, the 'I'll never forget your face' thing was just the start, I do get the sinking feeling that we're making Kuma so tragic, but at the same time I am almost certain Kuma will save Bonney and maybe even removes Luffy's pain again to get him to fight before he dies, still he deserves more, the world should know his sacrifices but I also want Kuma to see Nika in its most vindicated fashion.
But I still think Bonney is Ginny's clone, in the same manner as Stussy and maybe even Weevil, they still call Kuma the 'last Buccaneer' and that wouldn't work if Bonney was Kuma's bio-daughter

I'm still pretty sure Kuma is not Bonneys real father. When him and Ginny grow up it will be pretty sure, that he loves Ginny, but you could already see this chapter, Ginny is seeing him like a brother.
Her heart will beat for Dragon. She is Bonney and Luffy's mother. But there will be some kind of incident, that make them split from Dragon and eventually Ginny dies. So Kuma will raise Bonney.
Thats some of the pain that is Vegapunk was talking about and he didn't wanted Bonney to see that.
Only thing i'll say about G5 is that Luffy said "I can finally do all the things I wanted to do" so there's was still a lvl of awakening needed beyond just his awareness of the fruits true nature.
Have to say this about what you said about the possibility that luffy isnt a rubber boy but a freedom boy. If that is the case, his weakness to swords and other sharp objects isnt real as well and he can even overcome that specific weakness when he realises it

This might be a stretch but I just read the chapter, and on the second page, did anyone see the resemblance of the man in the left corner to Clover? the man in Ohara who wanted to learn about the void century? maybe him wanting to learn the void century stemed from him being a slave and hearing Kuma talk about "Nika"
When speaking about rocks we also must remember the only dialogue or point of view that we have of him is from the world government we have no clear view of what his dreams ambitions were the fact that this chapter shed a little light into his personality of being somewhat like Luffy it's the first time that we actually get his crew opinion of him, I can only hope he over exceeds the hype
Yeah i agree. The OP community has put a lot of stock into Sengoku’s opinion on Rocks moral stature. This a top marine describing a notorious pirate to other marines (ask Garp for his opinion on Shanks). Of course that’s been all we’ve had to go off of for so long. I’m with you, seeing another crumb of characterization of him is hype.
Ngl i think the rocks pirates were a bunch of pirate crew's joining together to make a safe place for pirates. Like i still think they all go do their own thing. I think what the wg stole was there version of the empty throne. A extremely rare item that kept them all together. Once it was stolen the item and rocks not getting it back they all split up. Kaido still is young and could see everyone going on their own as a betrayal.

@DmizzMOB Yeah, so big mom started a crew after Carmel died. So she already had started building a crew at like 5. She would definitely have some type of crew by that time. Shiki is known for having giant fleets with him. Yeah, probably not as big as he does in the future after this event. But to think he has no1 at the age he is seems doubtful. We have seen wb when he wasn't a captain and have seen him as a young captain. He's wearing the same exact stuff when he was a young captain. Also with how he's speaking to rocks during the chapter about not taking his orders makes it seem rocks is more a figurehead of all the groups together than their leader. Captain john is also wearing the same thing he did when he died because he had it as a zombie. Which captain john was killed by his own crew. Which he had to die within 10 years(shanks was 9-15 while with roger and buggy had johns map.) So he had to gain a crew and then a massive treasure and die with such a small time. Like it took kaido years to build his crew. Like after this kaido was on his own. (Oden joined rodger for that final journey) so that would be 15 years because shanks probably being found at god Valley was 15 at rogers execution. Kaido still had oden baited for 5 years while he built up his crew more because he didnt think he was ready. So 20 years for kaido to build a crew to beat oden and his retainers. With how long it took kaido i doubt the others didnt already have a foundation, if not full crews.

I had an idea while reading this chapter. I was thinking that in the one panel where Kuma is telling Saturn his dream to be like Nika, he created the nika fruit. And the reason the buccaneers were killed off was to prevent anymore people from learning about nika and then wishing to be like nika, thus continuing to bring the fruit back. Idk sounds silly but I thought it was neat.

Ochoku kinda confuses me. Everyone is now assuming the golden big dude is him (which is fair for the rocks pannel), but didnt he just lose control of hachinosu in the rocky port incident? He cant be the zombie in thriller bark so im even hesitant to think thats him, although it does make a lot of sense tht that would be him.
Can't deny the direct designs from that zombie pannel tho. These rocks pirates are are those dudes straight up, so the moria theory makes sense. Just curious what was up with Ochoku then at hachinosu if he apparently died?

After reading some awsome comments here and there: here is my take -------
1-This incident started the journey of all Rocks, Rogers, Kuma dreams and goals (idk how garb and Dragon fit in it but they are in it)
2- Saturn and other C. Dragons must spit some information to spark things in the pirates 🏴☠️ heads and Kuma mentions Nika had to be heard by the pirates (rocks, rogers)
3- hopefully we know more about rocks in the next chapters
4- (((((((Zues)))))) was with Linlin in that incident he might say something to Nami when he sees Saturn and Kuma this is really big news !!!!!
5- Most likely that Kuma will help the strawhats flee and get injured from saturn during it and die in bonnis hands
6- Dragon may show up and that giant armor that may wake up from the drums of liberation to help Strawhats flee with kuma
7- we could see a meet up of BB and Garb very soon and it will contain info from the past while garb realize the true intentions of BB !!

I think there might be something to the God’s knights idea, it is pretty common in Japan history to adopt people into family businesses to preserve the inheritance tradition, but to still keep competent people in charge
One reason the Garp respects the threat of Roger might have to do with Saturns words when Franky saved Luffy. Pirates who work together are way more dangerous than a crew that are at each others throats like Rocks
The egg on Roger's ship is probably Oars Jr. not Bonny and bonny is the actual child of Kuma and ginny as seen by her buccaneer esque form when she uses distorted future on herself. Also a thought from your video on awakenings: Luffy dies (again?) at the end of one piece and brooke uses his revive-revive fruit to bring him back (awakening?).
One thing I never thought about is if Big Mom’s homie Zeus was on God Valley, then he might be an excellent POV to tell the story from. He wasn’t in this Rocks panel but who knows?

Seeing how Hachinosu operated back then makes me really think about how Hachinosu and Karai Bari operate today. Who are all these random fodder pirates that live there. At least with emptee bluffs we know they started with buggy’s crew, the impel down escapees, and maybe some baroque works remnants. I guess we also saw that old man fry recruited into cross guild when he collected on T Bones bounty. Its just curious to me how these full on pirate societies function.
The way Big Mom talks, it seems as if he called them up like an ocean 11 mastermind or something. Like they know he always has a big score. Like this isn't the first rodeo, he was just able to "unify"(hints to what Mihawk says is the most dangerous power) the people he needs for what scheme he always cooking. Pretty sure he's had multiple adventures with pirate alliances with many of the old area. Probably didn't even need the Davy Back fight. He was the foundation to probably the Warlord and Yonko systems. Culminating in the current systems. That changed the old system and Luffy finale will start another system. We tend to forget Luffy represents an era on the come up. While there's a system in place that just recently got demolished at the reverie. There are at least two (if not more) budding systems not fully flushed out yet. And there's only a handful left of the old gen. And the present Gen, seemingly on their final moves. Making way for the Worst Gen
It is easy to see how Kuma beck the “tyrant” just like how Luffy was a masterminds behind the incident on Whole cake island or how he was so “intelligent” and could break in and out of impel down and marineford

Lol Davy Back Fight actually mattering late game in the story Oda wild. I just imagine Davy Jones or some very strong figure is the one supervising this with some crazy power for it to uphold or other pirates to respect (like Captain Teague in Pirates of Carribean)

I think the crown jewel of Hachinosu was God Valley itself as it had so many resources that the world government wanted. And God Valley wasn’t associated with the WG and was pirate friendly place under the protection of Hachinosu
I think the pirate island’s crown jewel is actually captain john’s treasure which will eventually be found by buggy and only then we will know what it actually is
