have had some similar ideas. more focus is needed on the dragon claw of the celestial dragons. but what you said about Imu's dragon origins blew my mind
Joyboy theories had the best theories before he stop making them I am happy he is back doing awesome work again like his earlier videos. He is an OG when it comes to one piece content he is finishing strong w the manga.
@@notsoberoveranalyzer8264 I feel you… I actually unfollow him because he stop but the truth is he didn’t want to do redundant content.. I am just happy I get to experience the end of one piece w him again n he is back… Vinland is good and O’Hara also … big fan of Tekkin also but I’ve been following one piece since 1999 and the truth is joyboy theories and a few others have made my one piece experience awesome and I am grateful for it… this theory was just awesome regardless if it’s true or not… I appreciate his work and time on it
That and the Dragon Claws of Sabo which he says some very interesting things about when using against Bastille.
So imma say what everyone elses thinking. Collab when?
@@RandomGuyyyy Yeah Imu looks like a Umibozu like we saw in Thriller Bark. They are usually accompanied by stormy weather. If Imu is a Umibozu he is probably Dragon. Why do they use the Dragon Claw symbol anyway?
Also if Garp took in Rock's son that'd be hilarious. Because it'd explain why Roger was so sure that Garp would look after Ace: he's literally done it for a pirate before. And I just love the idea of Garp constantly being given orphans because he's a cool guy
I appreciate the theory, you're one of the few OP UA-camrs that still puts forth theories
Credible ones.
I'm all in on the tin foil. Bonnie is one of my favourite characters by design and i was so pumped egghead is giving us more
I understand what you mean with Bonny but honestly it just feel like a random idea Oda had to give Bonny last minute purpose. In terms of worst generation it's really only Black beard , Luffy, and Zoro. We still don't know about Urouge yet
You were not too bad good man, not too far away
One thing that I like about the pirate crews in One Piece is how they don’t all follow the same theme/design of pirates that we’re familiar with. I’m talking about pirates like the ones in Peter Pan who were bandannas, striped shirts, and torn pants. One Piece, however, has given us pirates with an unconventional theme. We’ve got Mafia pirates, musical pirates, and pirates that are based off the works of Lewis Carroll (the author of Alice in Wonderland).
Fun fact about axolotl: its believed that they evolved from salamanders during their metamorphis in which external features caused a halt in their metamorphis.
The relation between Bonney and easter eggs an bunnys is a great point too :D
I LOVE that theory! I've always thought that it's such a weird coincidence that Rouge wanted her child to be called Anne - just like the most famous female pirate there was - if it was a girl and then Bonney is also named after that Pirate. I've also always wanted the egg on Roger's ship to have a significance and be more than a weird design choice and considering the importance of dragons and the heavy lore in One Piece surrounding them I always thought a dragon was the most likely being hatching from that egg.
Man I am so curious as to what Urouge, the sky island super nova, is going to have to do with the future of the story.
I'm hoping it points to one of the last sections of the story being centered on a Sky Island or multiple
i feel sorry for people who don't understand how great one piece really is
I like the idea that in the same way rubber of the gomu gomu no mi was the perfect counter for enerus lightning, the freedom of imagination of the nika fruit is the perfect counter of imus possible power over destiny
JB wonderful video. I'm buying stock in tinfoil. I love to see a video that charts the roles connecting the void century characters to their current counterparts. This may be a project for later after more story unfolds, or an evolving series.
I think you're onto something here. In every arc there is a character that isnt a strawhat that is a main character. Since weve been on egghead Bonnie has been the main subject of this arc. The missing part that would tell a lot about Bonnie and what proves that she has more to her than we've seen is when Akainu found her tied up after Blackbeard. Where did she go after that? Why wasn't she sent to Impel Down and why was Akainu afraid of her power? And then when she was at the Reverie, why did the guards recognize her and allow her in so easily when she aged herself? If the Sorbet Kingdom was against the WG, why would she have been allowed in so easily?
Oda also tends to parallel his movies to the manga as a way to almost practice a certain type of story. Not only did Oda use inspiration from Uta for designs on Egghead, I believe the character of Uta and her connection to Shanks is a parallel to Bonnie and Kuma's relationship. Maybe Kuma had to make a hard choice because of Bonnie's abilities and thats why Vegapunk didn't want Bonnie to see what was in the room.
I dont know what the answers are, I just wanted to add on to your thoughts.
I’ve watched your stuff for a while but my goodness. One of the few times I’m actually speechless. I love the egg idea
Whoa, haha, I'm half Native American and when you said "Manifest Destiny," my mind went to a dark place. lol, woof.
11:37 had me floored pal, but I couldn't but notice what looked like straight bangs of hair over Imu's face in a few recent panels I almost believe this.
Jewelry Bonney
French: Jouelrie Bonney
Jouelrey Bonney
[J] [O] [Y] [B] [O] [Y]
Your videos have been amazing lately I really like this theory too keep it up JB
no one feels weird about bonnie lipstick pattern? pay close attention, in a japanese comic, I find that kind of pattern usually only used by old woman, old literally old, like 70 - 80. old grandma, whose body already shrunk because of old age.
i wonder, why though, this young lady who looks like in her 20, wear a lipstick like that? and i think, bonnie actually a grandma who ate devil fruit, because of that, she is not kuma daugther, her memories about kuma as her father comes because kuma took bonnie memories, all of her memories. clean like a baby. i dont know why, maybe because bonnie wanted that.
Ahh I remember the Kaido dragon discussions years ago, glad to see the dream still lives on!
Man this is a great original theory… my thought process went to the dragon god holding actual significance in balancing all of creation and fate… so roger was too early because they needed a replacement dragon god before they could act on replacing imu… meaning imu really is serving as the role greenbull reminded us of that the celestial dragons create the world! So Bonney being the human form of the egg and being raised by pandaman makes sense
I really like this theory, especially having recently been watching a playthrough of Tears of The Kingdom, haha
There is a color spread with the princess Vivi in the castle of the Fishmen with golden dragons as statues.
"Urogue represents faith, not that we know much about it"
Boy, faith got thrown out the window ages ago, maybe that was Oda's commentary LMAO
The crew's faith in Luffy is a big deal!
Loved your video, great to see the egg on Rogers ship get a mention. I love all the stuff in dragons too, I don't know if you're a gamer at all but the recent Elden ring featured dragons which can take human form and had a civilisation that worshipped them and it's really got me thinking a lot about one piece y'know 👍 keep up the amazing content thank you
The treasure of Marie jois is the big straw hat we think right? In 1085 we see Imu turn into a big creature. Couldn't big thing Imu wear the big straw hat in that state? If the straw hat has powers or is important for some reason, couldn't Imu just wear it? Just a thought.
I think its a clever misdirection from oda to make us think that treasure of Marie Jois is Imu or the big strawhat in the freezer(i used to think it was) as it cant be Imu since u cant blackmail or negotiate your way out of surviving with knowledge about Imu's existence (i.e. Cobra) yet doflamingo did, and if its the big strawhat i find it strange why doflamingo didnt react to seeing luffys with the strawhat in marineford or dressrosa as doffy suggests to know what the secret Marie Jois treasure is. So the treasure of Marie Jois that doffy refers to is something else and to answer your question it be odd Imu wore a big strawhat+ that big crown lol
So after watching this I had a thought. It could be wrong, in fact I don't think its very likely, but what if both Bonney and Luffy were born from the egg on rogers ship? What if they were twins separated at birth and only Dragon and Kuma know? What if Imu and Joyboy were siblings? Its a fascinating idea, but I don't know.
I hope it is true, and not "oops. Didnt I said her fruit? Is the age age fruit"
but you evidence for something big for Bonney
The Axolotl fruit was the one that Smiley had on Punk Hazard, so I doubt that Imu has had that fruit for any substantial amount of time if at all.
I got chills near the end, i sincerly hope it will be true
This is really out there and I'm here for it. Keep cookin JB!
Man, I was too fast, the Axolotl talk started after my comment, I am even more on board, goddamn.
Well, appearantly Bonney didn´t hatch from the egg, but was born as daughter of Kuma and Ginny. She´s not the destined ruler of the world, nor a dragon.
An interesting think to consider is that when empowered Gorosei Topman has two crested horns like an axalotl
Im watching this video just after we return to egghead in the manga and seeing that Jewelry Bonney has calmed down after presumably seeing all of Kuma's memories and the Strawhats are calm and waiting for WG and Saturn to come onto egghead island tells me Bonney knows the truth and told the Strawhats and this theory has mad merit. The Strawhats seemed slightly out of character in this chapter to not want to flee egghead but actually have a plan of sorts and want to engage with the WG. I gotta be honest man, i think this is a spoiler.
You make youtube worth it dude.
The biggest twist in one piece.
You got axolotled lolololol
If Dragon is Garp son, then Garp and Dragon'smother gave him that name. That's a weird name to call your kid considering the circumstances
Not if it's important to maintain the illusion
Can we get much higher!
Imu when depicted on the throne also looks like a child figure
I think u are onto something with bonney being a dragon since as soon as u mentioned that i couldn't help but think of a dragon fruit, the Pitaya in how it reminds me of bonnie.
Also bonnies age has been revealed in sbs vol 68 as being 22 and 24(post timeskip) but oda said her age is a estimation due to the nature of her fruit at that time but since bonnie mentioned that her power doesnt last forever on living things in chapter 1072 we can assume she really is 24 unless her body is the exception to the rule
@isra-elJudah what if Imu was the reason Toki fled from her time line.Maybe Toki was also from the void century also
20:10 Oh.... hot dam!
This theory should work but bonny sufferd from standard DF weaknesses
1s that one of the soundtracks from the parasyte anime? Lol
poor smiley the Axolotl getting dismissed as if he was never a thing. also would he be a zoan.
Honestly if you think about Zoro could be considered the Dragon God aswell. The way its stated you can assume the Dragon God is someone seen as an equal to Joyboy. And thats why its writen as an important fact. There has always been huge speculation over Luffy's and Zoro's power lvl. For instance Zoro seriously wounded Kaido long before Luffy did any significant damage to him. If Zoro would of stayed in that fight and progressively gotten better during the fight as he usually does, would he have been able to accomplish the same outcome? Keep in mind that was practically Zoro's first real fight against him while at this point luffy has already had a battle with him prior.
but Bonney was literally drowing when they found her before the coast of egghead island oO
so it gotta be a df imo
Honestly it reminded me a lot of when momo created clouds, she wasn't drowning it was a very weird phenomenon
So I've had this theory brewing for a few years and it looks like in lieu of recent events it just may turn out to be true. I believe there is enough evidence that our beloved navigator Nami is in fact the daughter of Red Hair Shanks and a Celestial Dragon. More specifically Nami's biological mother was a member of the Figarland family. Now I know sounds crazy and stupid but please hear me out. First off Nami and Shank's backstories do parallel each other in significant ways. They were both founded as babies by adoptive parents in the aftermath of a devastating battle at a year old. They lived with that adoptive parent for awhile until unfortunate circumstances led to their parental figures giving up their own lives for execution in order to ensure the safety of their loved ones. Which leads to both Roger and Bellmere being executed in front of their children with a smile.
My next piece of evidence is in regards to character real world nationality. For those who don't know Oda choose a specific nationality for each member of the straw-hat crew. And for Nami he choose Sweden. Sweden is part of Scandinavia the birth land of the Vikings. And which character do we know has strong viking motif? fuckin Shanks.
The next part of this theory is not a piece of evidence but rather the use of this theory to explain a big mystery in the series. that mystery being which pirate was Shanks talking about when he went to meet with The Elders. The way the theory goes is that Shanks did not know Nami was even alive until her first bounty poster was released post Enies Lobby. And the reason why shanks went to the elders during reverie was to threaten them against revealing Nami's heritage to the world nobles. The Elders knew that Shanks had a romantic relationship with a member of the Figarland family and played a role in killing her. Which is why Uta in film red was suspected to have Figarland blood. Not because Shanks is a Figarland but because he had a child with a Figarlend women. Something which would be seen as a blasphemy in the eyes of the Celestial Dragons. Also in the same chapter 907 in the SBS section who is right there on the next page? Why it's none other than Nami. Wouldnt it just be a fucking genius move by Oda to put the answer to big mystery right on the next page and nobody notices.
Also Red hair + yellow hair = orange hair
There’s certainly logic behind your reasoning, but narrative wise I don’t see why nami should be the daughter of shanks. I feel like uta had somewhat fulfilled that role and is confirmed to be canon by oda .
I believe the theory that shanks is the product of a noble and non noble relationship, and by proxy impure which is why he was abandoned on god valley for roger to adopt. Why would he need to warn the world government of not showing Nami’s heritage? The world government themselves are hesitant and ashamed to admit shanks as an impure celestial dragon which leads me to believe they wouldn’t even be tempted to reclaim nami if she is of figarland descent.
I feel like Bonnie's ultimate role will be neutralizing Imu after it seems there's simply no defeating such a strong person with eternal youth. Then BLAM, jewels everywhere and Imu becomes so old that Vegapunk looks young in comparison. Just the shock of being old and crippled, approaching death, will completely defeat imu and shell past out like Sugar seeing Usopps face.
Her fruit is countered by strong haki. So nope, not happening
I think that'll be Law's role assuming the Imu's immortality is more than just eternal youth. Bonneys role might be to be a walking fanservice in both ecchi and bringing characters back to their prime for a few mins in the final war after her character arc with her father is resolved but that'll be dope if she is crucial in taking down imu like that
@@mokaljordan No one actually thought that she could actually age the seraphim to the good timeline or turn them into babies though...It would be interessting if they can regain the Seraphim control again and use them against WG fleet like that. I mean the Oda foreskin of Seraphim reaching peak power as adults is there. It would explain why the 5 elders wanted her like Akainu said during timeskip arc when he got her back from Blackbeard captivity, the potential of speeding up the SSG project
@@nunobettencourt1429 yea i can see bonney doing that for the seraphim after Luffy frees them from the command chips control somehow
@@nunobettencourt1429 What fruit is that?
A dragon in two states, one in human form and the other sort of Kaiju-like... Sounds rather familiar, doesn't it?
Maybe I need to go to sleep and watching one piece theory videos but something you said made me ask a question I haven't heard anyone ask yet, maybe because it's ridiculous but could Imu be the daughter of lili and or joyboy?
Laugh tale exists inside a whale 🐳 and only a person with the ability of hearing the voice of all things can find it.
Well... This is OUT THERE I'll give you that. I find this next to impossible.
Some of this still makes sense and you brought up some interesting connections though. But the bit about Bonny being a direct parallel to Imu and that she hatched from the egg on Rogers ship is a long shot in my opinion. But I still enjoyed the video!👍
Congratulations on winning the game on Hidden's channel 🎉🎉🎉
There is some events must have explained for Bonney theory the queen of sorbey how Bonney is from the egg and when age it herself, like a lot to the queen of sorbey kingdom
When you bring up the moon and Bonney with fate I went to the ancient Arabian goddess Manāt whose represents Fate, Fortune, Time & the waning moon. Bonney may complete the trinity of God Fruits. May have a Toki connection too with Wano crescent moon.
I am not a lore expert, but would it be possible for bonnie to be from the void century and have fabricated memories by Kuma? Messing with age, past and future. Seems plausible?
Law is a candidate for future imu
so imu is obviously her brother that was mentioned I feel . it makes sense on a narrative perspective.
Luffy's not "supposed to be Brazillian". People put way too much weight on that SBS question.
Just saying I don't think Bonnie and gotter powers from normal means. I think Kuma may have used his power to extract a power from someone or something and that power still resigns inside of her but yet to dormant. And what we're seeing is just a pixel of the artificial weapon?like the robot in Doctor Vega punks laboratory.
Holyyyy my brain just hurts
also.... dragons are supposed to be fish in the OP world
Well done man
Lezgoo
What if she has the time time fruit n thought it was age age like luffy thought his was rubber
You smoked too much on this one, JB. Why would a god hatch from an egg. Bonney most likely has some type of Age-Age fruit. Imu most likely is still alive because either Lily or someone else used the perpetual youth ability on Imu, making her/him essentially inmortal. I could even say that’s what happened to lily since she basically disappeared from history. Imu has always had enough power to force anyone to do so. Bonnie also can’t be that old since she also stated she was happy to be part of the “worst generation.” That comment would be unnecessary if she’s lived for way longer. Also, the egg was about 20 years ago, around same time when Luffy was born, if by some chance she was in the egg and hatched around that time.
Dragon is Luffys mom
Roger is Luffys dad.
Yo dragon know what the one piece is 😅 just letting u know
I personally don’t think Blackbeard is rival to luffy I think Blackbeard pirates are mirror of strawhats group if they choose evil path but I really don’t think Blackbeard pirates are gonna be big thing I don’t see it specially when Gods knights are introduced
Also I don’t think imu was as powerful as joyboy what I think is imu has taken someone very close to joyboy and told him drop your weapons or I will kill her or him and that’s how joyboy lost the war
We already see this with Kozuki oden he was stronger than kaido and could have defeated him but orochi took kuri people hostage and oden couldn’t do anything I think joyboy faced similar issues where he could defeat the 20 kingdoms but at the cost of his friend’s death.
I think Similar things gonna happen to luffy but this time every one shows up and fight world government on behalf of luffy just mihawk said luffys greatest ability is to make friends.
The key point here are garp confirmed that Draogn is his son also even though Ace was his Grandson like garp never give him Monkey D . Surname .
So both your end theories are wrong also luffy can’t be a celestial dragon because if he would than marines would have given him better treatment like they give to Doflamingo .
And if garp had a daughter I think by this time marines would have talked about her I don’t think garp really know about luffy’s mother .
IMU== I❤U
Every @JoyBoyTheories video is necessary.
Imu story is similar to orichi
I give this a 0% chance of being true but it made for a great video :)
Interesting that yin and yang work out this way, since chaotic energy is thought of as feminine, but Luffy is a guy and Bonney is a girl. Perhaps a purposeful flip flop.
Music too loud 😢
Great theory so far, just got a crazy idea while watching. So if Imu and Sugar are parallels, what if Imu has a much more physical parallel to Sugar’s toys? Maybe instead of turning people into toys Imu can turn people into fruits, fruits that contain their hopes and dreams; the desires or wills that they had.
We know from Dr. Vegapunk that devil fruits came from the desires/dreams of people, and we know from Blackbeard that peoples dreams never end. That could explain why Devil fruits, former people, get reincarnated after their user dies, similar to the concept of inherited will.
Furthermore, in the context of dressrosa as a microcosm of one piece, Kyros can be seen as a parallel to joyboy. Sugar’s power also took away any memories relating to those turned into toys. So just as Kyros was turned into a toy and only nameless remnants of the warrior he was remained, so to was Joyboy turned into the mythical human zoan fruit model: Nika. This explains why the only remnants of Joyboy that exist are written down, there are no stories about him that have been passed down, even in remote tribes like the tontatta.
I could go on with this theory as it makes countless things make sense but anyone reading this probably gets the picture.
thats cool but zuenesha remembers Joyboy.
Yeah that's 100% the wildest theory i've heard in One Piece and if it's true that would be a crazy reveal, never would have thought that.
Eh.
I think Imu is that times Luffy, but without one or two of his traits. A godlike devil fruit, childlike personality, probably eats a lot, but all of his friends are dead, all his dreams are either fulfilled or forgotten.
He is the “freest person”, but with a heart consumed by darkness instead of light.
He’s the inversion of Luffy.
Good insight!
THANK YOU FOR ALL THESE YEARS OF CONSISTENT AND EPIC CONTENT!
Its an awesome theory. I only disagree with the egg part: In my opinion bonney can´t be the one hatching from rogers egg, because in the real world the egg is way older than bonney. Oda said that all the supernova were created last minute as he felt the need for more action post timeskip. Only if Oda changed his mind about the egg after the timeskip.
I kind of agree but I also think that the egg was more of a design choice as Roger arrived to Laughtale too early so he laid the groundwork for the next generation to achieve something that he would never see. That idea is shown with the egg as to our knowledge Roger never saw it hatch but he and presumably his crew after he was gone protected it all the same.
I'm not saying this is true, but it could be that Oda always intended for Bonney to play a role, but came up with the Supernova as a group later on and decided to introduce her earlier in the story and make her a part of that group, just like Oda at first inteded for Boa Hancock to appear much later in the story but hen moved her introduction to the Summit War saga
@@flusel4949 This is a good point, which could be true.
Egghead is an arc where we get focus on Bonney, the same arc we learn from Vegapunk that DF powers are potential Evolutions, Bonney kinda access the possible evolutions of people and herself. I think if she awakens, she can grant people DF powers temporarily , probably just for people who dont already have a DF but it is plausible that she can "de-evolve" someone to before they had the fruit then evolve them to a new fruit. Idk if its very believable but it isnt impossible
I love how you included Bonnie in this personally I'm on the side the paw paw fruit can not only contain the user's memories but prior users as well (similar to the attack titans abilitiy) and the reason she's been gone so long is cuz she's seeing all past users memories and once she sees lilies memories she will be the key we have been missing in the story
That’d be perfect as a form of time capsule the revolutionary army can use to broadcast the actions of the wg.
That would be a very lame cope out for Oda. No point having the Poneglyphs like that. No point having ancient animals with 1000 years (Zunesha) and so on. Besides R.A doesn't need time Capsules, they need Vegapunk and Punk records, they need Sabo using his own memories on the records for all the world to see. As for Lily, we may or may not have a flashback. I honestly think its Vivi who is going to give us more info about her, be it by discovering something back on Alabasta or her joining the Straw Hats and activating Pluton. Also that idea with the Paw Paw fruit opens a massive plot hole, where it would be possible for DF users to see past users memories...What would be the point than of people training and getting awakening for example?
crackpot theory here: pluton isn't a ship but instead is a klabautermann which is able to jump from ship to ship, and is trying to create the perfect ship.

Ya know I refuse to believe that the Supernovas were created on a whim during Sabaody. I think Oda is a very humble man to the point that he downplays his own efforts, and I also think he would lie if it helps hide some mysteries. Bonney and Kuma, and Law, are setup too well for them to be characters made up on the spot.
Even if it's true, I'm sure Oda thought long and hard about what they would become after, and how it could fit into the story he wants to tell and things he had already planned
My take on Luffy and Kid was rather that Kid is how Luffy would have ended up if he didn't choose to accept that he was still too weak to enter the New World. While Luffy got defeated at Marineford and decided to take a step back and gain strength, Kid never got the chance to do so. It was only during Wano when both were defeated by Kaido and both responded differently. Kid immediately escaped and planned another attack on Kaido. Luffy decided to spend the time training because he knew that if he attacked Kaido again the outcome would be the same. Kid and Law represent extremes. Kid is the bullheaded, stubborn guy that just goes for the throne without thinking and Law needs everything planned out before making a move. One could even argue whether that it the reason as to why Law lost to Blackbeard. Being caught off guard isn't something Law and his crew is used to.
Although Luffy gravitates towards the bullheaded side, his experience at Marineford made him a bit smart in that regard. So you could say he's somewhere between Kid and Law.
True and it's why after wano arc. Kidd got too big for his boots that he decided to go after Shanks again. Instead of trying to plan ahead his next step. Instead now his ships destroyed and has no crew. As for poor Law, he's just unlucky cause Black beard a slimes snake bastard. That will just ambush you without even knowing.
If Imu is a dragon, then maybe the scene where Imu transforms to attack Sabo is not actually his face... but the two dots are actually his nostrils! And the rest of the dragon head is off-screened, and drawn to look like a face to throw us off, since all of the gorosei you can clearly see their faces. Then the arrow that attacked Kobra could be his tail, he's massive enough that it wraps around the room. Just an intriguing thought!
I'm pretty sure that what imu used to attack Sabo was a tail.
I'm just hoping that Imu isnt Luffys mom because Luffys mom is got to be an important character as she hasnt been mentioned yet. Unless imu has some awesome backstory, it better not be a character we know or we could know
I actually think Imu has the Umibozu Fruit considering the Yokai theming of the Gorosei.
I've heard some theorys that shes the amazon lilys leader after Nyan, Luffy=Brazilian... Amazon.... it work perfect but who and where is she is the big question!
This video aged so well. You were pretty much spot on with Bonney except for the dragon lineage thing…
Now that IS some tinfoil. I can see this happening actually but the way oda writes things i dont think it will be said outright by anyone. Oda loves keeping things a vague mystery more than anything. He occasionally drops some lore bombs but its the gradual build up and and actually having to go back and read it again to pick up on a lot of things. Back in the day you didnt have all these communities to sit around and theorize with thousands of people. You just had like one other kid at school who read the same thing to talk about it with. Sorry Im rambling. Thanks for the new ideas!
Always happy to see a new video from you. This is fascinating and I'd be cool with the story playing out something like this, though Oda seems to have most of his major plot points very well hidden even now. Guess we'll see! Just glad that we have new chapters again tbh 🙂
With such a Title, I was absolutely convinced you were finally dealing with my ShanksBeard Imu theory.
I'm sad now 😢
Really interesting theory. Loved especially the part where you connected Bonney to Rogers crew from her name.
One Piece theorists have the wildest imaginations. Also their theories are often legendarily wrong. 😂😂
There is a cultural bound syndrome amongst Ainu and Sakhalin woman of Japan called Imu. Characterized by extreme startle response that linked to automatic movements, imitative behaviour, infantile reactions and obedience to command. The Ainu has similarities to Indigenous North America tribes such as The Haida. The Emishi; Ainu and Ezo are indigenous People of Japan. The Ainu are also found in Serbian and Russia. Which brings up the 1904-1905 war between Russia and Japan; which was nicknamed World War Zero; WWZ. In The Ojibwa language of The Great lakes of North America Mishi means a Stick of Fire Wood. While Miishi means hairy; Miishiingwe is s/he has a hairy face; is bearded. Just a coincidence. Also Mishiginebig is "The Great Serpent" In The Story of The Great Flood. Nanabozho tracked "The Great Serpent." to a gloomy lake; The House of The Great Serpent. It was filled with evil spirits that were his companions and servants their form were monstrous and terrible. This Lake is called Manitou Lake; Spirit Lake and also called Lake of Devils. The Great Serpent's head was red as blood; his fierce eyes glowed like, fire. His body was armoured with hard and glistening scales of every colour and shade. Nanabozho decided that he'd get revenge for his cousin's death. I have a theory that carrot actually eats bonney df and bonney dies
Dont kill my theory T.T
I really like this theory. Well done!
But.. I can’t help but think Oda liked the alternate time line drawnings so he made her powers and her so he could squish those things into the story 😂 that would be very Oda to do such a thing. With that said I hope at least some of this plays out because it would be great stuff
Imu might be not immortal, but doing something to keep himself Live in different eras, like the personality swap, or might be strange but what is imu is on par with hito hito no mi model nikka, and it in reverse instead of giving the one who ate it freedom, it control them, therefore imu is a devil fruit that possess who eat it
Yoo let him cook like the theory outside the box
The oldest dragons usually live a bit past 1 thousand years so Imu being a dragon would be a pretty nice fit.
“And that character is Jewelry Bonney”
*turns volume up* 👀
Sugar has always been....unsettling. I KNOW this doesn't mean much but remember second recent color spread with all the girls in it? A lot of people thought sugar was a weird addition , I mean she's such a minor villain so why?? Tama and Ulti sort of makes sense but sugar was just so out of the blue. Maybe , and I know this is stretching it , but maybe sugar is important and that was Oda trying to clue us in.
