What type of charger are you using to charge the battery pack?

I plug my cable into a 10 port USB bank, because I’m always charging all kinds of GoPro batteries, foot warmers, hand warmers,’trail cam batteries, etc. here’s a link to it:

    You forgot to mention how
Long it takes to charge the pack. Also, it’s still pretty expensive to do this. I have two cameras. So I gotta spent $ 200 dollars to buy 4 packs? So I’ll have one battery charged and ready to switch out.

how often do you change AA's? these batteries last for years. if you think you are better off with spending $20 every couple months per camera, rather than $100 once, then i hope you aren't employed as a financial advisor.

how long does it take to recharge that lithium replacement battery?

All depends how much charge is left, but from complete dead to full charge should only be about 3-5 hours. Honestly, I’ve never kept track.

How many months do you get out of the rechargeable pack?

You can really answer that question because the battery life greatly depends on your settings, transmission frequency, pictures it takes, and cell signal.

Second on solar panel better be in full sun - had one work until summer foliage shaded it out

yes sir. if you cant get that solar panel full sun all day, it wont keep the battery charged. for that reason, i prefer to use the external boxes, much larger battery capacity and the solar panel helps to keep it charged

Looking to get a camera from tactacam for a property that has hogs coming into it, I know where they come into the property but looking for a recommendation for a camera to get notifications to my home. Any suggestions would be appreciated

If you are new to cellular cameras, I recommend the Tactacam Reveal x 3.0. It will send pictures and videos to your phone, it is very easy to set up and use, and they are reliable cameras. Here’s a review I did on the cam.

Do you know why the 3.0 pros don’t work with the external battery boxes

Don’t know what you mean, I’ve got one in the woods right now with an external box running it.

So you need two per camera. Otherwise you’re back to batteries. For me that’s 8 cams x 2 packs = $800

You don’t need 2 per camera, just need a couple extra. You could also use these external batteries. amzn.to/4ha39ZK
