I'm running Calibrated Power's Stealth 64 Mach 1. Spools like crazy, hits 40psi on tune 3, actually quieter in the cab than the stocker.
LOVE the engine brake bellow! Didn't have much time with the stock turbo and garbage tunes before the vanes started jamming, but the new tunes and turbo are AWESOME.
Next up, Steedspeed's manifold and Banks intercooler kit.
Couldn't agree more on the noise, 20 years ago I'd have a 5 or 6 full length straight pipe exhaust...these days, 4" with a muffler is fine for me.

You hit the nail on the head. As you get older you would rather have something quiet and less annoying, especially if you have to put lots of miles on with family along. A nice rumble, and slight whistle is good. But it is each to their own preference as always.
Understood 👍🏼. I started with a stock exhaust system, went 5” straight pipe, the I went on a road trip to Cali with the fam and I ended up getting a muffler put on in Cali (the drone was quite obnoxious lol), I then went with a y-pipe cutout upstream from the muffler 👍🏼.

That specific one I got I took out and returned. Couldn't get the AC functions to work.

I went back to the factory one. They couldn't figure out the software with updats
My stock turbo does this on the highway 80mph riding at like 8 psi and just jumps to 30/35 psi with a touch of the pedal
U got a good stock turbo lol. You would enjoy this turbo.
@@EVERYTHANGDIESEL sounds like I got lucky this is my first diesel truck. It’s all stock but it’s deleted and tuned with a HNS mini max. Let me ask you this what kind of performance benefits will I get from putting a lift pump in it?

New trans is doing really good, doesn't skip a beat and knows what it wants to do. Gonna be dropping a 1 month follow up since having it rebuilt.
Besides compounds, what turbo do you think would be best for towing 18,000 pounds in the mountains; a third GEN swap S369 or a 64 mm VGT? I have a 2015 G56 2500 MegaCab with the Banks CAI, Banks Intercooler and pipes, Banks intake horn and grid heater delete, EZLYNK, and I can’t decide what I want to do when this factory turbo leaves the chat…
I think a 64mm vgt would be good! If u go non vgt a s363 would be very good too!
No bigger than a s364.5 sxe for towing. Have zero issues with low egts towing with my s364.5/80/.91 sxe 3rd gen swap
S363/76 here and I pull a lot of weight with my 3500 and it’s the best thing I ever did. The s363 spools like a vgt,always has boost. I put an after market exhaust brake to retain that feature. I will say the exhaust brake isn’t as good as factory but still works good and you can also adjust how much braking it does.

I like em a lot. Tbh I can't tell the difference from arp studs and I'm had no issues running 50psi boost lmao I like em a lot. Especially cause they half the price of arp 2000s and are stronger by 20k tensile psi.

Because there just a middle man with Mitch at ccs. It's not directly communicating with the tuner
@@npp3cc waiting months for a answer for a question on tuning was definitely not a sign of motivation from the dirty crew. My experience is 50/50 so far.
Cam, glad you like the new turbo. I got a few other work parts to buy first then i will pull the trigger on a rds. snail. i bet that will be even more responsive when you put the new inner cooler on. ( Hint)
