I've been in a long relationship and there have been times when our relationship wasnt going well and I was lonely. No matter how hard my heart felt broken I never cheated despite potential opportunities. I understand why some of us men cheat. When the relationship feels broken and the love of your life seems gone, even though she is right there, feeling that love again seems so tempting. I made a promise to her and myself. My heart is hers to break. Thats just the way it is. She has never cheated on me, nor will I do that to her, no matter how hard it is.
When I first heard this song I thought it was great. But after going through what we/I went through I have a deeper understanding of what he is saying. it is something you can only know by going through it.
