In Rebels, Ezra recorded his messages for the Ghost Crew and particularly Sabine before his sacrifice
Ezra’s message is a prerecorded message, a different one than the one given to the entire Ghost Crew. That’s why he said in the beginning that Sabine needed this separate message.
She is the daughter of Dan Inosanto, Bruce Lee's most famous student who was the instructor at his school while he was making movies. Bruce also put him in the movie game of Death, he fought Bruce using Kali sticks and nunchaku. Her middle name is Lee as a sign of love and respect from her father to Bruce.
I think bruce is her godfather. Maybe i heard wrong

@SeeJaneGoTV Ezra knew he was potentially going to his death, so he recorded the message on that holo and left it for Sabine. This show takes place almost 10 years after Rebels. Ahsoka is happening just after Book of Boba Fett and either a bit before The Mandalorian season 3 or at the same time. In the period of time after Rebels, Sabine becomes Ahsoka's padawan.
Diana Lee Inosanto, who plays Morgan Elsbeth, is Bruce Lee's god-daughter.
The orange lightsabers carried by the two dark jedi are powered by Kohlen crystals which have some different properties from the usual Kyber crystals. Qui Gon Jinn and Obi-Wan discovered two of these crystals. They came across them on the planet Pijal and its moon while investigating the blackguards who used the crystals in their personal energy shields which are impervious to lightsabers.

The droid traveling with Ahsoka is the live action version of the one from Star Wars The Clone Wars that helped the Jedi Padawans construct their lightsabers in that one story arc. Voiced by the David Tennant (aka the 10th Dr. Who).

In real life soldiers write or record messages to loved ones in case they don't make it back. Now imagine a force user that can sense the future, the message would be more detailed.
The recording of Ezra I'd akin to a soldier's letter to their loved ones during war. Ezra's blaster lightsaber was destroyed on Malicor. Then he built his second one. Bruce Lee's Daughter is Shannon, Diana Lee Inosanto is the Daughter of Dan Inosanto who taught Bruce. Dan named Bruce Diana's Good daughter.

- The hologram message of Ezra was pre-recorded before he left to Thrawn's star cruiser (off-screen), and left most likely in Sabine's cabin onboard the Ghost, at the same time he made the one for all of the Ghost crew to see after he left, with the Grand Admiral, to the unknown reaches.
- Kanan and Hera were never married. They did "profess" their love for each other just prior to his death.
- Baylan and Shin are using "orange" lightsabers. They are not Sith.
- Up to this point in the series, the following reprised their animated roles: Huyang (David Tennant) - Clone Wars, Ryder (Clancy Brown) - Rebels.
- Ahsoka took on Sabine sometime after the Battle of Lothal (off-screen)
- Loth-Cats.
- As the Force flows thru all living things, even Sabine has potential Force sensitivity (which might explain her "speed and reaction times" in combat, how she just few her hovercraft, etc.
- Bruce Lee was the Godfather to Diana Lee Inosanto (Morgan Elsbeth)
- Sabine is using Ezra's 2nd lightsaber (the first one, with the attached blaster, was destroyed during his first encounter with Darth Vader).

Anyone can wield a lightsaber.. since you just need to hit a button to turn in on…
Force users are definitely better at it bc they can channel the Force through their crystal and predict their enemies movements but anyone can use one.
Also, Kanan said that Sabine closed herself off to the Force.. so there’s some very small potential that she could have minor Force abilities.
This is true for the Disney era of Star Wars. From my recollection, during the Lucas era (and in the older novels), only force sensitive beings can wield a lightsaber cause it takes considerable skill with the force to stabilize it or else the lightsaber would rotate/ gyrate/ spin out of control in their hands once ignited (this is also why you will not see it stay ignited once it is out of the wielder's hands as a safety precaution). Example of this kind of effect is the dark saber being very heavy and almost unwieldy in Din Jarin's hands (This is why Mand-alore - once a Jedi Knight- who created it was originally the only one to use it, and why Sabine can probably wield it better than Bo-Katan can). And so during George's time, only Sith and Jedi have these type of weapons, no one else does. Grevious is the only exception cause he has mechanical limbs (servos/ rotors help stabilize the saber). Not even Praetorian Guards (First seen in ROTJ, who were thought to be force sensitive and so were selected to guard the Emperor) use lightsabers. ✌👍🤔😉
@@karlgarcia2609 I didn’t say everyone could be good at wielding a lightsaber, but anyone can use it, that’s true. The Darksaber is much different, it requires no internal conflict to wield, that’s why it’s heavy for Djarin, like it used to be heavy for Sabine. Other lightsabers are not like the Darksaber, it’s unique. We’ve seen other people in canon steal lightsabers and use them, but they don’t get out of control, the wielded just doesn’t know how to properly use it. Like when Ahsoka’s lightsaber was stolen in Clone Wars (before Disney Canon, like you were saying), the girl could turn it on and use it, but she still wasn’t good at it bc she lacked training for it. And neither General Grevious nor Sabine actually had Force wielding abilities yet they could still wield lightsabers. Kanan said Sabine closed herself off from the Force yet she still was able to wield the Darksaber by expressing her inner conflict, and she could wield Ezra’s saber but was simply not as skilled as Shin, she didn’t lose JUST bc she didn’t have the Force although it was probably a factor since it’s harder for non-Force users to predict their enemies’ movements.
RIP Ray Stevenson. His performance here is simply amazing. This show is off to a beautiful start. Can't wait to see more!

Fun reaction 👍🏻👍🏻almost dropped out of my seat when Mr TV 🙂 mentioned that Diana Lee Inosanto was Bruce Lee's daughter, blew my mind, had a Google moment lol, checked it out and she's Bruce Lee's Goddaughter but she is Dan Inosantos daughter and that guy might of been more dangerous than Bruce Lee so that actress must know some serious martial arts, thxs guys, will definitely keep checking this series out and your reactions to them 👍🏻👍🏻

I was shocked 😲 😯 to learn Morgan Elsbeth was a Night Sister. In the games Jedi Fallen Order and Jedi Survivor (I apologize for spoilers 😓), there's another survivor of the Night Sisters, named Merrin. At first an antagonist in the first game, she becomes an ally and friend to the main protagonist, a survivor of the Jedi Order, Cal Kestis, by the end of it, and his love interest in the second game 🎮 😍🥰😉😁👍. (Once again, I apologize if I've spoiled anything for you 😓😣😔🙏.)
Ezra knew he was going to sacrifice himself in the end, so it actually makes sense that he would have sent goodbye messages.
I'm sure we'll get backstory about the Sabine Padawan story, a bit at a time over 3 seasons. lol

I guess we can still hope Zeb turns up at some point. If the show gets the views they should have the budget to do it well.

Actually the ship that Baylan and Shin arrive in is the Eta class shuttle, which is also known as a Jedi ambassador shuttle or the Republic ambassador shuttle. It essentially became the successor of the weaponless T6 Jedi shuttle after the clone wars began. Anakin, Obi wan, and Ahsoka were in an Eta class shuttle when their ship was taken to the planet of Mortis.
I believe the ship that you are thinking of as an imperial shuttle is the lambda class shuttle. This is why nobody is looking at the ship and saying hey something is not right here.
In fact it might even be possible that this ship may have been baylan's ship from before order 66. The big clue is the red paint job. Ships with a streak of red like Baylan's eta class shuttle and Ahsoka's T6 shuttle designated them as official diplomatic vessels of the Republic.

Within the first 10 minutes I knew this show was a winner It feels like Star Wars the music is Star Wars The look of the ships look like they use models this is a win-win situation so far.
Ahsoka takes Sabine on as an apprentice in the very last scene of Rebels when they first go out to find Ezra… it’s implied they failed the first time and that’s another reason they split apart. Now they’re starting again a few years later.

@@jeetkunedoatlanta2464 The last scene of Rebels was 5 years before this in 4 ABY right after the Empire fell in ROTJ, Sabine explicitly states that. Ahsoka takes place in 9 ABY during Mandalorian S3 which is why in S3 Gideon and the other Imperial leaders talked about Thrawn’s return.
@@EM-fl5od I understand the confusion as it's not made clear. However, the painting was dedicated before the scene in the episode. I don't believe it sat there for 5 years before they dedicated and revealed it. It's the same scene
@@jeetkunedoatlanta2464 “On this day several years ago, the Empire was defeated”- Ryder Azadi, if it was several years ago.. it’s not 4 ABY.. it’s 9 ABY. That is the official time of the show, like I said it officially takes place during Mandalorian S3 which is why Thrawn’s return is mentioned in S3. 4 ABY is when the Empire was defeated, several years later would be 9 ABY when the show actually takes place.
You can also see the wardrobe differences, Ahsoka is wearing grey instead of white and no longer has her staff. The scene was just meant to pay homage to the animated one.
Kind of like how Shin’s scene watching Sabine was a reference to Darth Maul’s scene in Phantom Menace.

You can argue all you want but you would have to believe that they left the painting there for 5 years and then had the exact same scene years later. In rebels Sabine even says it's time to find Ezra...
Dave Filoni said to watch Rebels season 4, ESPECIALLY the last episode, and everything will make much more sense.

14:37 it was a message that she found after Ezra was gone. He recorded it knowing he wasn’t coming back. 16:01 just because she is a Mandalorian doesn’t mean she’s not a Jedi or force user. I believe though Ashoka has been continuing her lightsaber training from Kanan Jarrus. 18:30 seeing how she’s apart of the Rebel alliance she probably heard about him through the messages and probably came across him on a mission.

i can totally see that side of it, I was like that when watching mando s2 before having watched clone wars and they introduced Bo katan. The whole dynamic of not knowing her character and wanting to and feeling sorta left out of the loop was what convinced me to finally give clone wars a shot and boy did I regret not doing it sooner. I hope the same goes for you with this show and then rebels. I’ve already seen it and can guarantee it’ll hit just as hard before or after watching Ahsoka. If you didn’t have a reason before hopefully the Ahsoka series will give you one :) I mean if you’re watching ahsoka you know that ur already signing up for getting to know these characters, and rebels is the show that provides the information to get to know them best. So if you end up loving these characters I’m sure you’ll love watching rebels

ahsoka and sabine was After and we didn't see it.. First episode a solid 8.8 only because of the sub I reduced by .2 points .... Every episode is written by Dave Filoni , not every episode as directed by him..

I was completely blown away, Filoni is a master (why didn't they let this guy make sequels?)
Red opening credits in the style of classic Star Wars.
The visuals, especially the sounds, and working with them are brilliant. Just such little things, Sabine opens the map and the screechy clicking sound like from Indiana Jones transitions smoothly into the classic Star Wars watch cut between scenes. Or the opening titles that are vertical, menacing minimalistic music and a cruiser from the new republic and sound like cruisers from the prequels (those who haven't seen episodes 1-3 in the cinema can't know what sounds I mean)
It's all fresh so far, but I think this series will be my Top since the very pleasant couple Rogue One and Solo from Disney. Of course, there is the Mandalorian, but even there I don't feel the narrative like after two episodes of the series, which I was slightly afraid that it would not be just fan service and Rebels in a playable form without added value. But the added value is there. And I am pleasantly surprised and pleased. This will still be a cut
The whole thing has the touch of the Original Trilogy and the prequels, but it also gives me a terrible sense of the style of the animated Visions - just Kurosawa and that's mega cool.
Baylan, padawan including Jedi padawan copik and everything around them plus Nightsister and a route to another galaxy (the old race will be Yuzhan Vong let's bet)
Mythology - a planet where apparently whales are born, the whole atmosphere is literally like in fairy tales or vikings
Some great fan service - for example, the scene with the probe and the padawan completely breathed Maul and Episode 1. Clancy Brown basically played himself, since this character also appeared in Rebels in his form.
Much, much more could be written, but my feelings are damn fine (since Mandalorian season 2 and Andora, I haven't been so happy with SW that I smiled during the entire viewing time)
It's such a great serial, now wait a hell of a week...
Ps scene with Sabine on a motorcycle and Japanese punk rock from another galaxy absolutely thrilled me. I finally found out that it is a song composed by Ludwig Goranson and sung by a punk rocker in Mandalorian speech especially for the series and it will be released as part of the soundtrack soon.
Disadvantages? None yet. These are the SW we like and I'm pleasantly surprised :)
If you can think of anything that was so wonderful there and what you didn't like, let's discuss. I've been a SW fan since 1993, so reading the Thrawn trilogy brings back memories and I'm curious about the next parts. And unfortunately I wasn't with Boba Fett or Obi Wan. The feeling is back and it's great :)
Before *Ezra* sneaked away to stop *Thrawn* at the end of *Rebels,* he left at least one holo message.
We see some of the mesage, but not all of it This could be part of the same message, or a short one he made specifically for *Sabine.* 🤷🏼♂️

Im done with disney. Sabine gets srabbed and is alright the next day. ALso sabine takes ezras jedi importance as filoni goes full woke kennedy. Annaken and esra reduced story in order to as filoni said 2 days ag blaming fans who donnt accept that he is putting woman chars as ehe heroes in place yes replacing chars that have already been rstablished but were male chars. First 2 episode show filoni is the same as kennedy and iger. Done with disney. .
