It's funny to see Star Wars Theory getting sooo triggered by light sabre stabs. He's so pissed that Qui Gon Jin got offed by a simple stomach poke. And every one else seems to pull through just fine. Even bringing back Maul who got cut in half.
I think with Sabine getting pierced by a lightsaber the circumstances allowed her to survive. While she was stabbed I think they clearly showed it was to her side and not through her spine. Also as the lightsaber is a controlled beam of superheated energy it would have cauterized her wound so she would not bleed out. With Ahsoka and her ship so close it was easy to get her to a medical center.
they should train their padavans to move that beam to the side after stabbing to cut the opponent in half, job done. do the funny capes give them more freedom to move, or why they have to wear that usless piece of cloth ? even their robots wear rotten capes

Especially with what Baylin said about potentially having to kill Ahsoka I feel like that makes sense.

Based on the line Sabine says to Ahsoka that’s doesn’t always go where she’s needed, I theorize that Ahsoka didn’t go help Mandalore during the Great Purge even with Sabine asking her to. And that’s a point of conflict between them.
Qui-Gon got stabbed right in the mittle of his chest through his spine, which would be enough to kill him. The youngling got stabbed on the side of her stomach 'twice', which isn't fatal because she didn't bleed out, you can bleed out if the wound isn't hot, when it is, the wound is sealed and won't bleed. Grand Inquisitor also got stabbed on the side of his stomach, which again isn't so fatal and now Sabine also got stabbed on the side of her stomach. This is why those character didn't die from the stabbing before.
Bleeding is less of a danger with the self-cauterising nature of a lightsaber, but infection is still gonna be fast and deadly if you don't get immediate medical attention. Plus, the shock and pain could give an older or sick victim a lethal heart attack. On top of that - and I may be wrong here - my memory is Qui-Gon got impaled dead-centre-mass, which would have wrecked his heart and/or aorta and his spine.
I also don't think that she meant to kill Sabine, otherwise she would've finished her. She wasn't ordered to kill her, only to get the Map from her and beat her, she accomplished both goals
Ahsoka is my favorite character. The thing I need to see Rosario nail is an emotional Ahsoka. So far she’s been very stoic, which is how she is most of the time at this age, but to truly connect older Ahsoka with younger Ahsoka I need to see her get emotional like she used to.

I wonder if light saber stabs are survivable because there is no bleeding from the wound. Its pretty much cauterized at that point. Probably still depends what you stab through though.
I guess but I wish they would just cut off a limb instead. It’s way more believable and it still fulfills the purpose of giving the character a failure to come back from. Like Luke did with Vader. I don’t get why they insist on doing stabs to the stomach 😂
13:54 this is supposed to be 5-6 years after the Rebels finale. 21:59 don’t forget about Tarre Vizsla he was a Mandalorian & a Jedi so she might be force sensitive just not as powerful as most force users. 27:10 it was shooting all her computers so that any data she recorded was destroyed. 28:06 Dave Filoni decided to have it orange so that it wasn’t dark side and wasn’t light side. He felt it would leave it up to the viewer to decide where the allegiance of the person lies. He remembered growing up seeing Vaders saber look orange sometimes and red other times. 29:35 remember that Reva and the Grand inquisitor both survived stabs to the gut.
If I am not mistaken Baylan’s name is dropped in The Obi Wan series, where he sees his name scratched on a wall in the cave where there is a resistance group helping Jedi’s escape as he also sees all the lightsabers left behind by those Jedi’s they helped previously escape as well as mentioning Baylan helped others escape as well.
It’s like gunshots. They can be absolutely immediately fatal in some instances yet perfectly treatable with fast medical attention and depending on the exact location.
Only thing driving me nuts is that I can’t remember Ashoka and Sabine EVER interacting in Rebels outside of the finale. So Sabine suddenly having this complicated past with Ashoka as her padawan gives me whiplash.
If I recall correctly, there was a brief arc in Rebelswhere Sabine had possession of the Darksaber. Kansan tried to train her to wield it but was unsuccessful. Ahsoka took over Sabine’s training until Sabine handed the Darksaber over to Bo since Sabine didn’t want to be ruler of Mandalore. It’s also possible that, due to the time gap between the Battle of Lothal and the final scene in Rebels (recreated at the end of Ep. 2 of Ahsoka, with a minor retcon of Ahsoka’s attire), Sabine spent some time as Ahsoka’s padawan using Ezra’s (now modified) lightsaber. Perhaps these questions will be answered in later episodes.
Kyle knows and spots it right away... the meeting place of Ahsoka and Era, who a few years before Han, Luke, Leia, Lando and many more planned the attack on the moon of Endor.

He eas talking about Kaylen Voss
@@MyHumaniity I saw that later on an Easter Egg episode of New Rock Stars about a couple of hours after I posted my mistake.
Poor Sabine, when your midichlorian count is 1.
I wonder if those HK droids self destruct charges are related to the CIS defoliator shells?
I just love how much on point you guys often are, I immediately though of raiders as well
In Ezra's comm tower is that possibly one of the seats from the Ghost? Perhaps Sabine's seat?
"It's made from Uncle Owen" That was brutal 🤣 Love the reaction gentlemen, lets fucking goooo!!
It’s like gunshots. They can be absolutely immediately fatal in some instances yet perfectly treatable with fast medical attention and depending on the exact location.
I think qui gon jinn stab wasn’t only fatal because it couldn’t have been a spinal injury, but also no one could attend to him fast enough.
Such a dope good feelin start to this show. Hope it ramps up and of course Chopper is on point…wonder how many kills he gonna rack up
The Dark Jedi Padawan is exactly how I imagined Darth Zannah to be.
Same and she is amazing
After I watch this I'm going back to rewatch your reactions of the end of The Clone War. You guys are my Star Wars people! Keep it up!
I had to pull out my old copy of Star Wars Essential guide to ships and vehicles when the E-Wings showed up, I knew they looked familiar!
11:47 Those droids probably brought proton bombs with them. As well as Thrawn's infiltrated droids to find Atollon.
Yeah, Ezra saying Sabine is like a sister to him is totally gonna stop people shipping them.
In Star Wars.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Well, they always said Lothal was like Alabama but in Space.
Only thing driving me nuts is that I can’t remember Ashoka and Sabine EVER interacting in Rebels outside of the finale. So Sabine suddenly having this complicated past with Ashoka as her padawan gives me whiplash.
It's Sabine, not Satine - that was Obiwan's Mandalorian love interest, Bo Katan's sister...
It's been few years since rebel. They can interact there. They also can show us with a flashback
Kyle knows and spots it right away... the meeting place of Ahsoka and Era, who a few years before Han, Luke, Leia, Lando and many more planned the attack on the moon of Endor.
your reactions truly are a blast, Ive sad that in the past but you guys know your star wars which makes it so enjoyable
That is the same type of bomb that the infiltrator droid had when it found chopper base and rebels.
The bombs that the HK droids used for the self destruct remind me of the defoliator tank from clone wars.
