She’s talking over order 66 meanwhile my guy is over here trying to hold back the tears 😂😂
İ feel him.. whenever i make someone watch star wars i do it in dark so that they don't see me crying..
Lmao 😂💀, not laughing at him but your comment
She is of the dark side
😂😂
Lol
Didnt the war just start?
Me: laughs in clonewars series
Same brother shout out to my boy CT-5555
Kaj Lenck Good soldiers follow orders... wait... 😞
Lol the clone wars were a 3 year long war
nice profile pic
Just started watching it, the first season is alright but has some really good episodes but the finale was some heat, I heard it gets good at the end of season 2
Fun Fact: The “Little Boy Jedi” as you said that attacks the clones in front of Bail Organa is George Lucas’ son. Great video.
Damn! Beat me to it. 😄
Also the same guy from the library in Attack of the Clones
Jett zuckasa a.k.a jet lucas
Yep, Zett Jukasa (Jett Lucas)
Yeah out of town There's no way. Are you serious.
"Fear leads to anger, anger leads to hate, hate leads to suffering"
Child Anakin had fear, Anakin from Attack of The Clones the anger, from Revenge of the Sith hate, and as Darth Vader suffering.
Well said😎^^^^!
Tbh the jedi messed up not teaching about the dark side. If they had properly taught them about the force and not just the light side, this may have never happened. You don't need to use the dark side to know about it
@@Alexanderthegreat159 honestly the divide between light and dark always felt so superficial and wrong to me.
The Jedi basically say that emotions are bad cause they lead to the dark side, but thats not entirely true. Shutting away your emotions is more likely to lead you down a dark path than embracing them.
Ironically thisnis what turned Anakin into Vader. He was forced to bury his emotions with no outlet and it slowly turned him into a sociopath.
And the Sith say that emotion leads to power and victory , negative ones especially. But the thing is that type of thinking is exactly why the Sith keep losing. Because they keep killing each other to scramble for just a bit more power and because they let their greed control them.
Whst the hell is power worth if you spend all your unnatural life fearing you'll lose it?
Revan had the right idea tbh. Gaining knowledge about both the light and the dark is the only real way to understand the force.
Even Yoda understood this, since he spent years living next to a cave FILLED with Dark Side energy
Filip Vadas obi wan was a great guy and Jedi and followed the code completely
Obi-Wan Kenobi actually, Obi-Wan had feelings for a women
Jane: DO IT!
Palpatine (moments later) DO IT!
JV.....i think your wife is a Sith Lord. Uh-oh..... lol
Jokes aside, Ian McDiarmid as the Chancellor?Emperor is on FIRE in this film when Lucas writing gives him a chance to really shine! And he's got a lot of really meaty scenes where he is manipulating the hell out of Anakin. He's definitely a very interesting villain!
with her "Do it" and then later, saying you get stronger from your rage, yeah Im totally dark side. Yup, she's a Sith.
fun fact thats the first and only time when 2 force users dueled with same color swords :)
also i always thinked that people misunderstood prophecy same as jedi did. its said that anakin would bring balance to the force. at start of prequels there are many more jedi than there are sith so there is no balance between light and dark so by helping kill all the jedi he actualy helped to make dark side more even with light read balanced :)
@@alibabapirce9782 that's not how the force works though. He brought balance to the force when he finally killed palpatine and then died therefore removing all of the sith and dark side of the force. The natural balance state of the force is the light, any darkside is out of balance
*the “I am the senate” line gets cut*
Me: it’s treason, then
22:50 “Is Mace Vindaloo dead?” That needs to be an item at an Indian Takeaway. “Yeah could I have one Mace Vindaloo?”
I'm Indian and i approve this!😂😂😂😂
Not everyone seems to notice Palpatine's smile as Vader reacts to Padme's death. What an incredible performance from Ian McDiarmid.
"Kill hiim!"... "No! That's not the Jedi way!"... "DO IT!"... OMG SHE'S THE EMPEROR!!! :O
To answer you question about the “High Ground.” Remember from the first movie where Obi-Wan was in the abyss and Darth Maul had the “High Ground?” Obi-Wan did the exact same thing and jumped over Darth Maul to split him in half so he caught Darth Maul off guard and that’s why he lost that battle. Overall, that is Obi-Wans signature move and he was the only one who knew it’s weakness. That was Anakins downfall. Hope that answered your question to why he said he had the “High Ground.”
Please. Someone like Anakin by battle instinct alone should be capable of that. I was never was on board with the High Ground trope in this explanation. Just position wise Obi-Wan has an advantage that's it. Increased by the surroundings being a volcanic planet so the ground you're fighting on is deadly.
Buddy it’s just a meme, even in real life a generally good tactic is to hold the high ground due to it being easier to both attack and defend from. But that’s all it is, there’s no special power or skill gained from holding the high ground xD
yeah anakin trained so much from obi wan vs maul and knew that move
so obi wan fooled him
@@embran8486 also anakin was blinded by arrogance and acted off of dumb instinct which is why he lost
Palpatine to Anakin about killing Dooku “He was too dangerous to be kept alive”
Mace Windu to Anakin on Palpatine “He’s too dangerous to be kept alive!” This essentially gives him the answer he needs. In his mind Jedi and Sith are the same, the only difference is that in siding with the Sith, he thinks that he will gain more power (to save Padmé) he feels he will no longer have to hold back his power because of the Jedi council.
Yeah, Anakin Apologists can claim that argument for sure.
@@Wolfen443 no that's really just the final straw to him joining the dark side.
"DO IT" *Darth Jane is the key to all of this*
Dont forget his turn wasnt quick because of the clone wars tv series that fills in time between 2nd and 3rd movie anakin has dark side moments in the clone wars show that add to his turn and that is sidious true form his cover was just taken away the dark side deforms the body over time.
It's not that quick regardless of TCW
@@VinVonVoom especially when you learn to see the movie/interpret the story through a "psychological lens"
Even in the old books Labyrinth of Evil and the novelization of Episode 3 the turned is more nuanced, he tried to find other ways to save Padme like in the ancient jedi archives, but he needed the rank of master for that and that's why he was so pissed at Windu for granting him a seat at the council but not the rank (besides that being a genuinenly douche bag move) and couldn't just break in without risking to expose everything. He was really put between the wall and the sword (and worst with all the Clone Wars development)
Revenge of the Sith is the best Star Wars prequel of them all
And has the best novelization. _By far._ An absolute *must read.*
@Fatima Carrano I think we'll be seeing him again soon. 😎
She didn't know that was Vader?! This made the reaction video all the better!
I’m like 90% convinced she was routing for Palpatine the whole movie 😂
I mean I was too.
Who wasn't?
This bore of a movie is fun whenever Palpie is on the screen, so no surprise there.
I hate to say this, but Palpatine was the real star of the prequels.
Well yeah palps brought peace order and stability to the galaxy
15:16 Fun fact about Obi-Wan.
Obi-Wan is actually a master of the Soresu lightsaber combat form. It strongly focuses on defensive combat. Although it was initially developed primarily to address the issue of blaster fire, Form III took on greater significance as a form focused almost entirely on defending against attacks of any nature. One special advantage was being able to deal with multiple attackers.
In this case, Obi-Wan treated each of Grievous' arms as one attacker in a sense.
And in Anakin Vs. Obi-Wan, both of them basically fought against each other knowing each other's skills and how the other would fight. So it was a long duel of wearing the other one down until one was beaten.
Well in the new hope Obi-Wan mastered the force also thus able to become one with the force. He had the equal footing with vader and Lucas never stated that he struggled lol. It tells how Obi-Wan became powerful.
The clones are not "on the bad guys side", they are the soldiers of the republic and palpatine is their number one boss obove their jedi generals.
And there is also another reason for them switching sides but you gotta watch clone wars for that
The canon reason is so much better then being blindly loyal
Or you could just tell them that all the clones were created with a chip in their brain that was created for them to turn on the Jedi when the emperor gave the word.
There was a large length of time between the second and third movies.
The Clone Wars were by no means quick. (See series of the same name that was finally allowed to finish)
As for Yoda, bad advice in Anakin's POV, but remember that Jedi are not allowed personal attachment in the first place.
Which is in itself a bad route to take, trying to live life as nothing more than a detached robot is not a way to try to raise/teach people to be.
Honestly the original trilogy were to show how tyrannical the Sith were, but the prequel trilogy seemed to be made to highlight the corruption and inadequacy of the Jedi.
To achieve true balance, one should strive in between. Caring about people and things and having some attachments, while at the same time learning to be calm and controlled and not letting your emotions get too wild and out of control
This. The Jedi's "hands-off, no love" approach has always been there biggest issue. Anakin wasn't the first jedi they lost due to their ridiculous rules.
the clone wars lasted 3 years from what i read online.
@@tofu8676 yeah ahsoka was 14 at the start and 17 at the end, so three years.
It's just good advice actually. If you are overly attached to anything it drives you to do terrible things. Loss is apart of life and something we have to unfortunately live in harmony with. When we try to hard to hold onto something that is what puts us in a place to be corrupted. Case in point here Padme dies because Anakin he went to far trying to save her
Anakins abrupt turn reminds me of the line by Joker, “All it takes is one bad day to reduce the sanest man alive to lunacy. That's how far the world is from where I am. Just one bad day.”
Now Anakin has been gradually manipulated to embrace his dark tendencies over the course of the movies and the Clone Wars series. But his positive personality traits have still kept him from truly opening up to this corruption. He would not turn until he faced true despair and suffering. And the Dark Side is pretty much a corruption of the force which is in all living things, that corruption feeds on all negative emotions.
So when he chooses to strike Mace, he goes into a state of pure shock, confusion and despair. And here is where he is fully opening up to the corruption that is the Dark Side. And this is the moment the Emperor have waited for. I feel like this is why Sith gets new names, because they essentially kill the personality that was there before it. Anakin dies, and Vader rise.
Plus, he was just party to the death of Mace Windu, there is no going back now.
23:42 MY GUY IS A TRUE STWARWARS FAN I CRY TOO DURING THAT MOMENT OF THE MOVIE ALL THE TIME 🥺
To answer your question about the lightsabers in the movie.
The effect was largely achieved by coating a thin wooden tube with reflective material (made out of movie screen) and shining bright spotlights onto it in order to make it appear fluorescent. They then used film filters in post-production to make that effect seem substantially more pronounced and to add colouring.
The actors could actually do a duel and then it would be added in special effects during post production.
Funny story: Obi-Wan versus Darth Maul in Episode 1 was actually way too fast when they filmed it. So the duel seen in that movie was the footage slowed down. XD
Here in Episode 3, Ewan McGregor and Hayden Christenson worked on their duel for many months before they shot the battle on Mustafar. Hayden, along with the stunt coordinator for the films, provided the lightsaber choreography for the Episode III Playstation 2 game adaptation which was released a few weeks before the movie was out in theaters.
I love Revenge of the Sith and your intros are killing me lol love em. Yoda's advice to Anakin reminded me of Avatar last airbender when Ang was training to control the avatar state
WebHead2099 I feel like the Jedi around the time of the Clone Wars had become blinded by dogmatism (as they had on NUMEROUS occasions earlier in Star Wars history) as well as the Dark Side of Darth Sidious, but I DO feel Yoda was legit trying to help Anakin in that scene. I think what he was really saying to Anakin was, "Learn to stop blaming yourself for events that are beyond your control and not your fault." And that really is Anakin's biggest flaw: he constantly blames himself for events that are beyond his control and wallows in grief at things he feels like, being the "Chosen One", he should have been able to prevent, when in reality he most likely couldn't have prevented it, and if the tried to, the outcome might have been even WORSE.
Aang managed to succeed in releasing his attachments though. I think, if we are to use ATLA to compare, it’s Aang flat out refusing to kill Ozai no matter the threat he is, he literally spoke to like half a dozen or more of his reincarnations plus others in the current life, everyone said yeah you gotta do what you gotta do *slit throat motion* and Aang just goes Nah life is precious so I’m gonna ignore like 50 people xD
My theory about the "lost the will to live" is that Sidious was using a force drain on Padme in order to sustain Vader until he was in the suit. Notice that Vader felt Padme die and Sidious knew she died already. Nothing was medically wrong with her, but the life drain caused her death to destroy Vader's only connection outside of the Dark Side for the time being.
Your theory huh 🤣
@@CodeeXDyou can say it’s your theory because you believe it. Doesn’t mean your claiming ownership of it or saying you created it.
@@Sparrowhawk055 no you say you believe in the theory, not it's your theory, because it's not. Saying it's your theory is claiming ownership
"R2 is murderous! I like it..."
Goood...your hate has made you powerful.
Emperor Palpatine lied to Vader when he said that Vader killed her because Palpatine/Sidious used Darth Plagus knowledge to drain the life from Padme to keep Vader alive so was hiding his own guilt plus this was the thing that turns Anakin fully, the hate of himself for what he thinks he has done to his wife
No, she was presumed dead along with the children. Otherwise Palpatine would have looked for them.
@@cpob2013 Yes He lied to Vader because he said that Vader killed Padme when it was Palpatine draining life from her to keep Vader alive, The Baby or babies were presumed dead as padme's corps at her funeral still looked pregnant that is why nobody looked for them
" The high ground "
you guys crack me up! 🤣😂🤣
It's a clear advantage in any battle scenario.
Leaves out “so uncivilized”
So uncivilized.
Impossible. Perhaps the archives are, incomplete?
@Chancellor Palpatine AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH
Hey
So this confirms Jane is a Sith Lord.
Those tears when order 66 got called. I feel you when I was a kid and this came out in theaters I felt the same.
Lmao Mace Vindaloo, Jane 's like every mum ever watching Star Wars with their kid
There's a theory that padmes life force was stolen to keep Vader alive.
So Papaltine told the truth.
@@jeffborowiak8992 Well no, Palpatine was the one draining her life
"The power of two will restore the one true Emperor"
Confirmed? By whom? If it is not stated on screen it never happened.
@@Quotenwagnerianer Not formally confirmed, but given the end of Rise of Skywalker (and also earlier in the film when they show a healing), there's now sort of onscreen confirmation that the process of healing doesn't so much create life as steal it.
The best way for a newcomer to star wars to watch the saga and get a truly great reaction out of them and make them become LOVERS of the saga as a full is with the Machete Order (4, 5, 1, 2, 3, 6)
When they watch episode 4 and 5 they are literally watching a lot of random characters who they dont really have any true background to, they just kind of are there, but either way building a little bond with them. Yet On episode 5 there is a reveal of a sibling, but they dont say who that sibling is. Then you bring the viewer back to the prequels, in the first 2 episodes they completely forget about the original's reveal. They start building the bond with Anakin, Obi Wan, all of those, who show a more complete storyline. And on the end of episode 3, EVERYTHING goes down on them. Order 66, Darth Sidious, Darth Vader, the last duel, vader burning, and just as they are in all that shock, the REVEAL. The robot says the word "babies", they get excited... But The face they make when Padmé dyingly whispers "Leia" is FUCKING PRICELESS.
Watching it that way makes those newcomers fall more deeply in love to the saga and make them appreciate episode 6 WAY MORE than someone who listened to a close minded boomer telling them to watch it in "rElEaSe OrDeR"
Just because that's how your youth was doesn't mean its truly the best way to watch them for newcomers, "old man" 😉
lol I think we've found out between the "do it" and the "oh no he Palpatine lost his light saber" which side Jane would choose :D
The best side ! Order 66 the most beautiful day in this galaxy !
She straight up saud shed be dark side lmao
There's a pretty good theory that Palpatine used the force to kill Padmé.
My man's having a whole ass breakdown during order 66. I felt that bro.
Padma...lol made me crack up every time 😂
She was a good friend of Mace Vindaloo.
One reason why Mace won: Vaapad which is based off of form seven of lightsaber combat
Order 66 makes me cry every time since I first watched it. I feel you bruh.
It's not "jedi's", the word "jedi" is singular and plural.
He survived because feelings such as anger, hate, self hate, pain, suffering make one more powerful in the dark side. A sith once held his body together with the dark side and everytime he died he would come back.
i don’t think i’ve ever seen this man watch a movie without crying and i respect it a lot
Fun Fact: the Anakin and Obi-Wan fight wasn’t sped up and they weren’t CGI. The two actors (Hayden Christensen and Ewan McGregor) actually fought that fast.
She asks does obi wan die. If only she knew the power of the high ground.
lol
i hate how stupid people are..obi wan is in a new hope..anakin's name is revealed in return of jedi...its not a reveal..
Hi guys! 😄
Fun fact: The last scene where Obi-Wan delivers baby Luke to his uncles Owen and Beru, was recorded from Episode II.
In the behind the scenes, George Lucas was asked why he recorded "that scene" for Episode III, which he replied that "there was no point in bringing the entire production to Tunisia to film just one scene"; which they later replied if he needed filming more scenes, Lucas replied that he would "try not to need more".
That's the story of the scene 😁.
Peace! 😀✌🏼...
Yoda’s advice isn’t bad. He’s just telling Anakin that as a Jedi you need to let go of things that you fear to lose because if you became overly attached to them, it could lead you to make risky decisions that may result in not only your downfall but the downfall of others. Attachment leads to jealously and jealously is the shadow of greed which could set you on the path of the dark side.
I personally feel that Vaders powers in the dark side are driven by pain, suffering, and self hate. His suit is created to cause him extreme pain amd suffering continously.
Jane: "How does he survive this?!"
Palpatine: "The Dark Side of The Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be........ unnatural..."
Damn, I seriously got emotional watching you guys watch this.
“She lost the will to live” seems corny but one theory is that Sidious siphoned Padme’s life Force to save Vader. That was the power promised by Sidious. That’s why the medical droids couldn’t find any medical reasons for her death.
Jean-Dominic Lapointe That explanation is canon for me, and also that Sidious's REAL goal in doing so was to kill her unborn children. But fortunately, Padme was able to give birth before she died.
Yeah and she was suffocated by her own husband plus all that stress and the birth of twins. She died somehow. But it's only a theory, although much better than "death from sadness."
OMG Jane is a savage!!!! lol. “Do it.”
It freaked him out a bit haha
@21:45 “Henceforth, you shall be known as Darth Vader.” THAT’S the birth of Darth Vader. The famous biomechanical suit that he has to wear after his fight with Obi-Wan is to keep him alive.
‘You were my brother Anakin I loved you!’ hits me in the feels every damn time.
In one of the Legends novels, when Yoda is on Dagobah, contemplating what went wrong, he admits to himself in meditation that the Jedi were fundamentally wrong in their philosophy of having no attachments or relationships, because sometime or another most Jedi have relationships and love. Obiwan fell in love with the queen of a Republic planet during the Clone wars, and she was murdered by Darth Maul. It almost caused Kenobi to turn dark. Anyhow, Yoda regretted that if he had only offered Anakin a way to save Padme, the Jedi never would have been exterminated
Yoda vs. The Emperor...the fight we didn't know we wanted for years!
I’m so empathic, seen people cry make me cry too…
Darth Plaguies was the Master of Darth Sidious.... Sidious was the one who killed him in his sleep
there's a fan theory that Palpatine's technique of "saving the ones you love" that he talked about, must siphon energy from someone else, because it's dark side. and that during Anakin's operation into the suit, Palpatine somehow drained Padmé's life force to save Vader.
PHOONEEEEYYY!!
This is what I belive
Finally a explanation I can get behind
Its a very stupid theory and has no basis in lore.
@@cpob2013 what do you mean? The expanded lore on the Sith is full of life drain and force drain abilities.
My mans is over here crying 😭
What a true Star Wars fan my guy
Fun fact: Mace Windu told Anakin to wait in the jedi masters chambers so that after he killed the sith Lord he would grant Anakin the rank of master.
To rebuke what you said at 3:17
1. Padmé is wide awake now and she isn't exactly defenceless
2. Her chief security officer and a bunch of other staff in the building come to her aid
3. Sidious wouldn't want to kill her in the first place as it could be a weakness in Anakin that could be exploited more effectively if he waits longer
Obi Wan having the high ground makes perfect sense. There was just this piece of land and lava all around. If Anakin jumped in front of Obi Wan, he would be pushed into the lava by Obi Wan before he could land or cut in half, because there wasn't enough ground, so he tried to do a big leap behind Obi Wan.
'Mace Vindaloo' That got me!! 😂😂😂😂
The suit actually didn't enhance Vader. It actually keeps him in a state where he is in constant pain. The Emperor chose that suit on purpose. It was not the best suit for his condition. It was one that Palpatine chose to keep Vader powerful, but not powerful enough to where he could not challenge him for the position of Master.
FYI commander cody is the inspiration for boba fett- he was a 50s republic pictures serial character who wore a helmet and flying thruster backpack like fett
36:57 Interesting fact since you talk about that one kid jedi fighting the clones.
That padawan was played by George Lucas' son actually. His son got order 66'ed in this film. XD
The best thing about channels like you...is sincerety. Thank you for the reactions...the reason I love this movie and your reactions is because it transported me to the theaters when I watched this five times over a few weeks thinking I'd never get episodes 7-9
SPOILERS if you haven't watched Clone Wars
Grievous coughs because Mace Windu crushed his armor around his torso, injuring his lungs. They did it to show that even though he looks like a machine, Grievous is still a organic creature under the armor
Fun fact: Darth Vader's famous breathing sound isn't actually the sound of him breathing. It's just a sound built into his chest plate that he uses as an intimidation technique. He actually gets his oxygen through intravenous needles that line his suit. Sidious gave him this suit despite the fact that he had better options like Grievous' suit just so he could keep Anakin in pain and angry, in an effort to keep him on the Dark Side. He did the same thing to Grievous when he turned cyborg. Sidious had a chip put in Grievous' brain during the operation that makes him hate harder. I shit you not.
Grievous' heart and lungs were in a container-thing that you can't just grab them from.
And he was more of a lizard-being instead of a human.
Loved watching your reaction to this. Thanks for posting.
Anakin did actually feel remorse for killing the Tuskans since it was done out of blind rage after what they had done to his mom. In this film, Anakin actually did feel remorse for having to kill the Jedi younglings. Anakin was no longer himself, he was Darth Vader, and Vader was killing off every part of him that had been Anakin, including the Jedi younglings. In Anakin’s mind it was a mercy kill, since the younglings weren’t given a choice to become Jedi.
0:31 turns super sayian while wearing a leaf ninja headband
"Im gonna be the greatest jedi of all time"
The twist that Anakin Skywalker is Darth Vader is better than Luke finding out Darth Vader is his dad. Chronological order is the best.
that scene between anakin and padme always makes me breaking in tears ...
A popular fan theory is that padme doesn't die of a broken heart like a lot of people told. But ani actually was able to use the ability he was trying to learn to save padme, but instead used her life force to save himself subconsciously. Because he doesn't breath for a good few seconds before the helmet is sealed. If you enhance it, supposedly you can hear her last breath as Vader takes his first.
Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith holds the record for the longest sword fight in cinematic history.
"It's over Anakin, I have the high ground"
Her to him: You say that?!
hahahahaha
On Yoda's advice to Anakin: You can do everything in your power to save someone's life. Even, it is your duty to do everything possible to save the life of another person. But ultimately, the outcome is never going to depend entirely on what you do and you should always be prepared to let that person go.
In the novelization, there’s an extra line of dialog between Grevious and Obi Wan on Utapa.
“I’ve been trained in your Jedi arts by count Dooku”
“I trained the Jedi who killed him”
They should have left that in.
mace vindaloo had me ballin😂😂😂
Funniest part is, that unexplained reason is actually explainable, if you suffer great enough heart break/emotional strain, a little thing called "heart strings" Tear, like that old saying "tugging on the heart strings", well, heart strings are real, and if they tear your heart can actually stop, so if you genuinely cared that much about someone or something, and if anything happened to them that truly hurt enough, you could actually die from heart break
A thing about killing the master or the sith apprentice is called the rule of 2, it’s not explained in any the movies but it basically means that there can only be 2 actual siths at a time one master and one apprentice. The master trains the apprentice until the apprentice is strong enough and then proceeds to kill the master, and taking on his own apprentice (that’s why the chancellor killed his master plagueis, and why he tells anakin to kill douku). However after anakin becomes darth vader, sidious lost interest in him as he wasn’t at his strongest anymore, and to purposefully make it so that anakin could never kill him, makes his suit super uncomfortable and heavy, he isn’t able to move his arm above his shoulders in the suit and the suit is constantly itching and tugging at his skin, all to make anakin weaker. But Vader still excelled at use in the force and was never able to be killed by assassins etc that sidious himself sent (because he wanted a new apprentice)
If it makes you feel better, the clones literally had no choice.
You know, though, if Anakin had followed Yoda's advice, Padme might have actually lived. She died because she lost the will to live, but she lost it because Anakin turned to the dark side and became evil.
28:26 That's something we can neither confirm nor deny.
Usually in a sword fight it doesn't last more than 2 minutes. But strategically speaking the high ground helps because it's a better vantage point and you can respond to your opponent from a position of strength, though with people you can cut their feet off. Environment is important but it's really more strategic positioning because in terms of actual swordsmanship they were matched, obi wan being more defensive and therefore more exhausted. But cause anakin was in such a rage he and underestimating obi wan and overestimating himself, cause part of the dark side is arrogance, he fell for a slight strategic advantage
Amazing reaction. I also laughed when Jane discovered Anakin was Darth Vaider.
There's a fun theory that Palpatine created Anakin's visions of Padmé dying to turn him and then when she was weak he used the force to transfer her life into Anakin to keep him alive. It's a much better theory than her giving up on her kids anyway. It certainly doesn't seem like she wants to abandon them. The droids say she's medically healthy because they can't explain her death because it's the force which is beyond their medical comprehension. Then when she dies, Palpatine knows she's dead because he killed her.
@21:00 "Hey, he's a Bad Guy!" Yeah no sh*t Sherlock XD
About Sidious, when he uses the force lightning, he can't shut it off on his own, which is why he was frying himself with it after Mace blocked him. When it hit him, it rapidly warped his skin to represent his truer self and age, as he uses the dark side so strongly that he can force himself to live forever, so what he told Anakin was true, and there IS a way to stop death, but only for yourself. What you are seeing is what he SHOULD look like, because at this point, he's most likely MUCH older than he put himself out to be. Also, his teeth aren't "gone," the rapid aging just allowed tooth rot to set in.
Fun fact: even though the clones had chips in their head to make them obey order 66 lots of clones would of executed it anyways because they're so loyal to the republic and when they heard the jedi were treasonous lots were outraged, including commander cody
34:08 "I don't think I want to be dark side" You can't mean that, Jane! You're gonna leave J.V???
13:54 It wasn't bad advice, it was the best advice. If Anakin just let it go, she would have lived.
the man was crying during order 66 that made me laugh and cry
Some fun facts:
1. The clones were the perfect candidate for order 66 for the following reason: The jedi, could not sense any danger coming. The clones had no malice, no ill intent, they were just following an order. When the jedi sensed the other jedi being wiped out, it was to late
2: The running theory as to why padme died: is that palpatine was draining her life force to sustain anakin as he was being rebuilt.
3: At the end, when vader screams and shatters the medical center. He in fact, actually tried to kill palpatine than and there using the force. But he wasn't strong enough. The book describes anakins thoughts as hes trying to kill palpatine. "You remember where the power is, but you can't touch it. You're like a painter gone blind, a composer gone deaf". In retaliation, palpatine blasts vader with his lightning telling vader to "Defend yourself lord vader, where is your lightsaber?" Vaders suit is susceptible to electricity, it completely immobilizes him, its a failsafe that was put in to keep vader on a leash. Palpatine than says to vader "If you ever, touch me with the force again. I will finish what I started here"
Yodas advise was good, anakin got into that situation because he disobeyed the jedi code by falling in love
Its nice too see a couple amuse each other by what they can do with their mouths.....
The Dark Side leaves a trace. Plagueis explains some of it in his book. And to put it in his words: "The Dark Side had Santhe in its grip, and no medical proceedure in the galaxy, was equal to the task of keeping him alive."
Anakin did not know what he unleashed on her.
13:30 sounds like she’s gargling sum man juice 😂
