Lets see, um, May 1st, 2016. I am currently building a Master Grade Wing Zero. The first kit I've built since 2004, and am currently awaiting my Master Grade RX-78 GP-01 FB from Japan. I still love building Gundams.
Back when the Gunpla was bad (especially from the mid '90s) and we just received the brand in the US, The commercials were very bad as well but they were typical Bandai America, They were very fun and cheesy in their own sort of way.
Truly the dark ages... Well being able to o find them easy but was nice but the quality wasn't that great and nothing compared to modern kits like the original line or even ibo. Heck the revives of older kits like the ground and types are better.

You mean a commercial like this or do I have Zoids on DVD? I only have the first 2 volumes for Zoids: New Century and I don't think there's a commercial like this on them.
We in SEA got a much better commercial of Gundam Wing model kit in the 90s. I remember them focusing more on the kit instead of this BS narration that tries to sell you the product. EDIT: Jeez they're now "lost media." I remember the Gundam Wing commercial in the 90s and early 20s where they advertising model kits even grunt kits like Leo.
+Sora Hikari Model Kits. You have to build them. They have various skill grades. The best bang for your buck is the Master Grade kits, but if you have the scratch for it, the Perfect Grade kits are AWESOME!

I remember having a couple of these and definitely not looking back on it. They were really fragile.
