How about a video of a routine transmission oil and filter change in a Mercedes using this scanner to check the transmission oil temperature while measuring the final oil level during the refill. You could also include information on how to find out the proper oil temperature at which to measure the oil level for a given Mercedes model. Thanks for considering it.
Excellent video! Was looking to see if my scanner (same as above) included transmission temp. It's a great scanner, and I figured it did, but wanted to confirm. It's crucial to confirm transmission temperature when working on any of these modern M-B transmissions when you're refilling them or checking fluid levels. Even more importantly on the CVT ones in the B-Class.

Will this one clear a trans fault code and take car out of limp mode? I understand if there is still a issue with the trans the code can come back . Ive bin paying a shop to clear the code to get it out of limp mode and it lasts about 2 weeks to a month before its back in limp mode. Im not ready to pay the big bux to have it diagnosed any further then I have already so If this scanner works I will buy one and continue to just clear it everytime the code returns. Thanx

Does the car need to be running to get signal from the transmission? When I try to do this, I get messages that the scanner cannot connect to the TCM. But my car is not running yet.
What transmission did you use this machine one. I have bought the product but there is no option to read live data on my 722.6 5 speed engine on my Mercedes CLC 2008 (CL204). I have also updated it from v11. 21 to v11. 41. I am currently having transmission slip in my car and having live data would allow me to properly diagnose it. =/

@@pelassancho24 hi, i fixed the issue on my own mercedes w211, yes after fixing the speed sensors on the conductor plate and putting everything back together, it still needed to be reset by a scanner tool, a good one like this perhaps and it worked like new again

@@pelassancho24 so basically it was my parents car i helped fix but it was a speed sensor problem, one of the speed turbine sensors or something, y3/8n2, but i replaced both ( y3 8n1 and y3 8n2 speed sensors) because i already had conductor plate out of car, i cant remember what vgs cinductor plate it was but you have tk check if you can replace the sensors on your car, as it depends if you have a 722.9 or 722.6 transmision, on the 722.6 you can just replace the whole plate i think without having it recoded, wheras on the newer 722.9 transimission if you were to replace conductor plate youll have to get it re programed by mercedes which i bet will cost too much, what model of mercedes is yours? And engine spec etc and year i can help you
But anyway the first time round after ressarching for ages and having a fault code that shows it is a speed sensor i figured out to try replacing speed sensors first because it is a cheaper fix than the whole conductor plate, theres videos on youtube i used but they wasnt clear but they helped me figure out what to do
C is could, not comfort. Use second gear because eliminating slip wheels when car shift to 2 gear. In deutsches langage its called W like winter... This scanner can do same think like delphi 150 which is cheaper(but need computer) i need something for put my tranny in factory reset. This thing didnt know it like delphi :D.

Live data they can read such as temperature. But for tranny slip, you can have nothing to do except change the clutch inside.
Those features & options are EXACTLY what you'd find in DAS/Xentry also. I like that. Did it make car ready for SMOG test?

It says in my owners manual C = Comfort and S = Sport
Always thought W= winter and S= summer... ha
It is on many . But someone like s211 e - clas. are S = sport and C not W but C = comfort.

Yes there is an use. You can use the slk230 selection. Is the same transmission and same engine. Make and update to your MBII, just in case.
