Jack used to be so quiet and almost shy XD.
People say Jack changed, but the only difference I can hear is that he talks a little quieter and slower. He still makes the same kind of jokes like he said in this video, "almost sawed the hairs off your ass!" I can see him saying the same things now.
Yeah, Jack simply found his commentary style. That's why he appears confident, it's because he's comfortable with it

Nobody's going to read this comment on a video from 9 years ago that didn't even hit 200k views BUT; it's fine I'll leave this here for posterity. In Sean's 2022 documentary, 'How Did We Get Here', he talks about how miserable he was during this time. Looking back, it might seem like he's shy or bored but there's real sadness behind his eyes and now we know why. It's incredibly fitting that he played 'Limbo'... I laugh because this game has an achievement that you can get that makes you play through the game in one sitting and die no more than five times. I laughed when I got to the end of this game. Hard.

Had to come back to this because I just got the game and got stuck at the "teeter-totter" bull shit after the hotel. So amazing and funny to see where he was and where he is. Love you ^-^

I used seesaw on a heavily US populated private forum once and got 'corrected', lol. I've only ever seen/heard USians use teeter-totter, although I'll concede many probably do use seesaw. I assume the US has loads of regionalisms.
