Or maybe they have experienced it. They just can't come to terms with it, and instead of letting them go they make jokes. Humour to settle themselves, to push the sadness away. It wasn't right for them to take it out on him, but I know what it feels like to deal with sadness through humour. Now I'm not saying that what they did was justified or okay in any way, but to know a situation truly, you have to look at both sides and consider the circumstances. You might see an really fast driver and get pissed at them, but in reality they just found out that their parent is in the hospital. I can say for sure that I deal with my sadness through humour, but my sadness is from my childhood, instead of the bombshell of a loved one dying. All I'm saying is they might have had their own reasons for that.

Or maybe they have experienced it. They just can't come to terms with it, and instead of letting them go they make jokes. Humour to settle themselves, to push the sadness away. It wasn't right for them to take it out on him, but I know what it feels like to deal with sadness through humour. Now I'm not saying that what they did was justified or okay in any way, but to know a situation truly, you have to look at both sides and consider the circumstances. You might see an really fast driver and get pissed at them, but in reality they just found out that their parent is in the hospital. I can say for sure that I deal with my sadness through humour, but my sadness is from my childhood, instead of the bombshell of a loved one dying. All I'm saying is they might have had their own reasons for that.
