THEY POISONED PEOPLES WATER KNOWINGLY, the san Bruno explosion was in 2010, and the fires are because they haven’t upgraded their busted ass infrastructure even though they been provided government subsidies in the past to do exactly that. Cringy now, but I, myself, even applied to intern at his office. Greed is so disgusting... Misappropriation of client funds is the #1 reason that lawyers get disbarred. He is a complete travesty to the entire legal profession and I hope he faces criminal charges.

We did not even know to the extent of what was going on with joe’s case, he comes to our family get togethers and he really has gone through so much. He loved my cousin so much and it truly shows, knowing this breaks my heart for him, but we will definitely show him more of our love and support now knowing that on top of his health concerns he’s dealing with what this evil man did to him. I don’t believe he’s broke. I’ve heard of rich people creating offshore accounts where they hide money to avoid paying taxes. This man isn’t dumb he knows where the money is at
Even with their lifestyle I can't believe how 100m can just dissappear it's really fishy at the very least it should be tied up in assets (houses, cars, jewelry, paintings etc) at least this kind of money doesn't just dissappear. Unless he had a serious gambling problem or something
It’s hidden for sure. There are some gossip blinds who allegedly say she visits a bank weekly in a part of town where she won’t be recognized and takes out some cash from a safety deposit box. She probably has a few to hide all the cash. She doesn’t want them looking under her mattress, where else would she put it to make it easy to access and can’t be traced electronically. Maybe off shore too but safety deposit boxes can hold lots of things, including cash.
Erika is hiding at least 20M as well that Tom “invested” into her production company.

I think if they see the bank records they will see the money disappearing aka being moved or liquidated or whatever for her to hide. I don't think it was all "spent" , I think it's definitely somewhere on shore or off.

This is why our justice system needs a process to verify what was ordered actually happens. Currently, you have to go back to court (motion to enforce) to get what's ordered if you don't. Takes a ridiculous amount of time. There should be penalties for this and those that procrastinate or stahl cases and don't do what is ordered. A warrant should just be issued... no need to go to court to enforce the motion.

I agree. They probably both agreed that a divorce was best, when the Chicago lawyer filed his lawsuit, so they could more easily hide assets. There are valuable paintings and other expensive home decor worth millions of dollars that has not yet been accounted for. It is suspected that certain items were sold shortly before all of this came out and that other items are being "stored" at friend's houses.

It was. It happens so often in wealthy circles. Here’s why: they’re hoping a quick divorce will go through before the fraud case makes it to court (which is very possible during Covid since cases have been pushed back!). This gives him time to move as much cash and assets to Erika as possible - she’ll also be using off shore accounts. That way, everything will belong to “her” and not him. 😌👌🏻 If a judge rules he owes people money, he can say he’s broke, and she can say “oh all this belongs to me, and he’s my ex husband so it’s not my problem”.
It happens ALL THE TIME like that sadly 😑 Bikram Choudhury (of Bikram/Hot Yoga fame) did exactly the same thing. Fake divorced his wife so he transferred everything into her name and accounts. When his victims came to collect, he claimed he was “broke”. He isn’t. His wife just hid his money for him 😑

I really don’t feel bad for her. Erika knew where her husbands money was coming from. She only divorced him because their secrets were about to be released. Suddenly she realizes that Tom was a very controlling husband?! And now she wanted to divorce him? Come on! It’s sad but she payed the price of of unhappy marriage for riches, no matter where the riches came from. Bottom line, lawyers do NOT make millions of dollars. Tom should have signaling many red flags when he ripped Erin Brocovich off. Do a google search of how much he received compared to what Erin got. yep, I’m a vet tech and we’ve had them shut off our power with no warning while we were in the middle of surgery because it was windy. It’s happened more than once. maybe they should service their power lines more often so they don’t have to shut off everyone’s power to avoid a lawsuit 😐

Has she apologized? Even if she “didn’t know” apologies are for things we didn’t mean. So if she unintentionally took money from these victims, she should apologize. Instead of being pitiless about it.
Unfortunately an apology in the eyes of the court can be constituted as an admission of guilt. Since the case is still open I’m sure she won’t be able to apologize even if she could.

First an opposing attorney can twist that to use against one, but even worse is the public does that. People like to take anything and twist into what it doesn't mean, either for their own purpose or out of ignorance, so only an idiot with no legal counsel would apologize when not at fault. That is not how it works.

Something about me says that they have bank accounts overseas, and they won’t show the bank statements yet, but they will later after all the money is transferred. I know tons of rich families who embezzle money & send them overseas so no one can track it. Wolf of Wall Street is a good example of this.
