I just made this cake in Athens Greece. I substituted Greek Yogurt for sour cream and I us to use frozen raspberries because they are out of season at the fresh markets. It was amazing. Wish I could post picture. Thank you for the tips on adding the eggs and folding the raspberries.

Just made this and it was an absolute delight!! My kitchen smelled so gooood. Instead of using sour cream, I went for Greek yogurt and I also reduced the sugar to 1 & 1/4 cup~ (maybe a bit lesser than than). I also baked it in loaf pans and topped it off with some raspberry buttercream. The soft buttercream & the moist cake was an absolute match! I wrapped it with some cling wrap & chilled it in the fridge overnight - the cake still remained moist!

Ooooh...this looks like something my kids will enjoy. I will definitely have to try this since my kids made me commit to making a homemade pie at least once a month...I don't think they would mind if I switched up and did a cake. Glad you enjoyed your 4th of July.

You did a great job with filming and editing the video just under 5 minutes. Very similar to Divas Can Cook filming style (hope you don't mind the comparison), short, sweet and to the point. I wish more cooks did their cooking vids like yours. The baby's hand was such a sweet touch too. Please make more cooking vids with sweet and savory dishes. My favorite cakes are pound cakes, although raspberries are not my fav the cake look so very delicious.

Coating the raspberries with a little flour helps absorb some of the juices from the berries so that it does not disturb your cake batter. So happy you are enjoying my recipe videos!
