    Video full of gems! Thank you Nathan and Harrison Audio. Easy to follow, easy to digest, and easy to implement into the work I am doing in MixBus 10Pro

    Awesome tips! More in depth video showing how to assign outputs from Mixbus to hardware for using outboard console with larger count interface, and creating templates for given outboard setup... That would be amazing..! thanks

      I would do that in the Audio Connections Manager. I will add it to the list of topics to cover in a future video.

      Mixbus32c is now called Mixbus so you will only see MIxbus videos going forward but it still includes the 32c EQ, 12 busses and now has the SSL EQ to choose from.

    Hey Nathan, on Linux, this drag and drop thing. Any special key and mouse combo for this to work? Just grabbing and dragging turns the cursor into a 2 headed arrow but nothing moves.

    Hey Nathan, great video! I already use a couple of these, but some were new so that's really good. I have two questions / suggestions for future videos:
    1. Is there a way to get more information about the length of a region on screen as soon as it is selected? Interested in both time (mm:ss:ms) and musical length like bars and beats. Thinking of secondary clock, menu bar or similar.
    2. Is there a way to save the preferences for miscellaneous outputs? I usually start every project with rerouting the metronome, since I usually only want click in my headphone channels and not in the monitor speakers. Would be nice to save this setting globally instead of project by project.

    • @HarrisonAudio
      @HarrisonAudio  5 місяців тому

      thanks for the suggestions. You can double click on a region to bring up the info box. This will tell you the start and end times and the length.

    I just installed and opened the daw. But I can't figure out how to zoom the mixer. I have a 24" monitor and I can't see the buttons properly. I'm working currently with Studio One and have no issues.
    Love the concept of the Mixbus but really need to see what Im doing 😅

    Hi mate. Great fan of yours and of course of Harrison mixbus
    I have a question for you.
    I own a Mac Studio m1 with mixbus.
    While I’m traveling I like to mix on the go and I opted to install Logic Pro on my iPad Pro. I just don’t like the way experience at all. I’m missing mixbus, but buying a laptop which is inevitably going to be worse than my Mac Studio and very expensive is not a choice by now.
    I know I can download mixbus for Linux, I can be really happy with it. But I don’t have a clue about how to install interfaces, or the program itself.
    Why don’t you make a video about Harrison mixbus on Linux?

    • @HarrisonAudio
      @HarrisonAudio  5 місяців тому +1

      Thanks for the support. I am not a Linux guy but I would think installing any software is no different than a Windows or Mac computer. For the cost of a iPad Pro you could get a used M1 laptop that would be more than sufficient to do what you need. I use a M1 Mac Mini in my studio rack but also have a M1 13" laptop for "on the go" stuff. It is so fast and quiet and works perfectly.

      @@HarrisonAudio is 8 gb enough memory (I know it’s “unified”)

    • @HarrisonAudio
      @HarrisonAudio  5 місяців тому +1

      8gb on a M1, M2, M3 machine is more than enough but if you can get at least 16gb then that should last you for many years.

      @@HarrisonAudio I'm not upgrading the link said to click here for an introductory offer. I did that a week ago but before I could make the purchase the code no longer worked. And now the is still there but entering an email address and name does nothing but enroll me into MailChimp or something like that. I tried MixBus several years ago but it kept crashing... I like the idea and straight forward mixing but I'm not going to pay 500 bucks to test a DAW that few people seem to use. Todays DAWs are loaded with Beat Creativity 'tools' that I just don't use. I believe music should be played on instruments not pieced together using someone elses clips or created with midi and computer instruments. Those that make music this way will have no right to complain when AI takes over.

    • @HarrisonAudio
      @HarrisonAudio  4 місяці тому

      The code ended but if you email support I can provide you the code you need. Feel free to download the demo and try it out. Ive had 3 sessions this week recording all analog signals which is your preference and they went great. I got two more sessions this weekend and another on Monday. No crashes or issues on my end whatsoever. Send an email and I would be happy to help and answer any questions you have.
