Great video, I started watching a (LIVE CAM) video with 2 eggs and 1 chick about a week ago, I didn't see first hatch but did the second, so I didn't understand why the other two hadn't hatched yet but thanks to you, now I know. I began research bcus I was interested but I've learned more from this video than my own research. The second finally hatched a few days ago and is being feed equal amounts, I'm concerned for the poor third chick (egg). I'm saddened to know there will be sibling rivary later and the parents will not step in, I saw a documentary years ago and that's the same way I felt then, only in the docu, the last two chicks got less to eat and one even died ):

Great video. Nikon P-510 camera? Never mind that. What the heck kind of lens were you using?! And at what distance. (Seemed pretty far.)
    Thanks again,
    Lee

      Hi Lee
The Nikon P-510 is a point and shoot camera with a 42 power zoom. It does not have a detachable lens.
      Thanks for the kind words.

Nice job! Very informative. Do the male and female return to the same nest the following year to breed again? We have a nest near by that last year produced two birds, and then was empty for months. Just recently there are two adults back in the nest.

Hi William Young, would it be ok to use some of your Osprey footage in a short conservation film for the UK, as Osprey were reintroduced after being wiped out? Its not for profit and will credit you fully? Thanks

      Hi Anneka
You have my permission to use portions of the video, with attribution. Also, you can do the same with my first Osprey Love Nest video. I'm glad Ospreys have been reintroduced into the UK.
      Best,
