  • @bananaman2

    One crucial tip I have regards monster drops. If you chain together multiple enemies and defeat them all in the same battle, you have a higher chance of getting silver and gold chests, which contain better loot. Also, one exploit I found was that you can save before opening a dropped chest and reload if you didn't get the item you want. This is a great way to get fantastic items and equipment early on.
    You can also do overtrading to get good rare items. Basically, NPC's have a secret item that they will gift you if you trade an item of significantly higher value than the item you request in the trade. This is easier later on once you've increased area affinity to have access to more trading options. Plus it's good to have the wikia open to see which items NPC's have.

    Just started playing a few days ago and loving it so far. 2 quality life hacks for Cambat I think are good to have are: you can map the controls so that instead of using the dpad to scroll through the arts, you can use the shoulder buttons. And 2nd, is make sure you put the arts that are the same next to each other. So for example, I have my side arts next to each other, my back arts next to, and so on. This helps alot so when you are positioned next to or behind the enemy, you can do the arts before the enemy moves and avoids unessesy scrolling..... great video, man!!

I had played it for a bit on my 3ds but I sold my “new” model one when I was going through a rough patch. Now I’m starting from square 1 again in hopes to get all the way to 3, hoping to enjoy it and get the same emotional reactions I’ve seen so many others get from it. As in lowest agility and defense, while piling on the dps. But just spam arts with no thought and you'll attract way too much aggro while not putting out a substantial amount of damage.

I got the game this morning but yet to play it yet. At 1:45, do you mean that I don’t have to talk all those without a name at all? Also, if I have missed some NPCs due to time/location or plainly an area I haven’t searched thorough enough, I assume I could see the empty slot in the chart. I am wondering if there’s any hints I could find out who I missed and where I could find this NPC? Basically hints about a missing link? At 4:15, you showed quests from generic NPCs, so this contradicted what you said earlier? Quests could be from EVERYONE? Thanks.

      Hi Tino! Thank you for taking interest! That's correct, the NPC's that don't have a unique name (like Colony 9 Resident), you don't need to talk to (unless you truly want to). Unfortunately, there are NO HINTS if you have not spoken with an NPC or "missing links" as you say. And like you said Quests can be from ANYONE with an exclamation mark "!" over their head! You know how you can unlock outfits to customize your appearence without having it affect your stats? But you don’t want to waste your money on equipment you’re not likely to use? Have no fear because you can save scum, you know?! Ah but how is that useful other than getting back your money? One thing I always wanted to know is that in some areas there’s enemy’s that are extremely high level, like level 86 or 87 and you’re at like level 22. Like what’s the point of that, are we gonna come back to that area later after we leveled up ?

    • @growthenerp7750
      @growthenerp7750 4 роки тому +4

      Those are technically super bosses, they are optional to defeat later on. I'd say if you want to have a fun challenge later on and get rewarded with some good gear, remember their location and prepare with good high level gear and gems. (87 isn't too high, I've fought and beaten the he highest level enemy which is lvl 120l

      Grow The Nerp
      Superbosses are level 102 or higher (they will ALWAYS have red tags, even at max level. People sometimes argue final marcas is also a super boss since he's level 100 but that's not the point)
      The reason there are level 80+ in almost every area is so when you beat the game, you have reasons to go back to every area, either for the replica quests or otherwise.

    Are there time sensitive quests to be aware of? You say “typically” you’d don’t want to go after each quest immediately, and that suggests there are some atypical instances of that not being the case, but you don’t any anything about it.

    Hi, thank you for the guide.
    I'm really confused by the affinity chart. You said you only need to speak to them once to get them on the chart which is true. I found though some guys when I talk to them multiple times It'll fill out a relationship on the chart? it felt completely random bc I talked to some guy like 3 times and got nothing new... did some quests came back and talked to him again then he ended up giving me a new relationship on the chart?!? What's going on here?
    Also, are we supposed to gain the stars really slowly? I'm at the very start but I spent a good 3 hours doing every side quest I can and I'm only at 2 stars.

    • @oursinpacifique8269
      @oursinpacifique8269 4 роки тому +2

      From what i remember, you have to talk twice to each npc (only talking about named npc ofc) cause they have multiple dialogue lines, and xc1 is kinda weird about that, if he tells you about his relationship or anything related to another npc, most of the time it’ll trigger something, you might unlock a relation ship on the chart, or you might go and talk to the said npc who will now have a quest or something like that. It is kind of « realistic » but can be quite annoying sometimes. But it’s not with every npc, it’s really quite random. As for the stars, it depends on the place. Colony 9 is not the fastest one to do, and also you cant unlock every quest in early game and you will need to come back once you passed a certain point in the main storyline.

    • @QwixLF
      @QwixLF 4 роки тому

      Make a habit of talking to a named quest giver after you finish a quest/line related to them or anyone near them on the chart afterwards. You can juice a lot of free affinity points in the area just by that alone.
      Also, keep the locations of the NPCs in mind at 10am and 10pm, just to keep it consistent. They move around a lot, but between 10 and 12 every NPC in the game will be stationary. The affinity chart in DE will note their usual spot and gives you the option to highlight them on the map, neither of which was the case in the original.

    Ok am I the only one here who struggle with Attack System of the game ?? Like I’m still in early game and those Mechons are like time consuming fight for me. I kept on dealing only 1 dmg to them until one of my teammates can flip them up and break their shield or something so I can deal more dmg. How do I manually activate it, what do i need to pay attention on to save time in those fights ?

    • @summerycast7936
      @summerycast7936 4 роки тому

      Didn’t the game inform you in the first fight with a mechon that you need to break then topple them in order to inflict damage? Two of your party members have a break art; Shulk and Fiora. Reyn is the only one that has a topple art (the color of the art is green). Usually if you can pull off a break then Reyn follows up with a topple. Also, Fiora has a daze which stuns the enemy if they are in topple state. Shulk’s talent should also inflict the break status!
      Remember this since this mechanic is very, _very_ useful! Break > Topple > Daze. That is the order it plays out. Xenoblade 2 also has this mechanic, but instead of daze, you can launch then SMASH!
