Final thing to note that I forgot to mention in the video since it's a new thing: You can buy level V of essentially every gem from challenge mode too if you want to use that for exp/ap up. I believe that requires some story progress but that shouldn't be an issue. Level 12 art books and the best farming challenge are unlocked from beating Future Connected.
Holy, to get every skill tree its impossible for me, because i always missed an NPC or i just missed a timed mission, how can you get 5 star affinity with everyone, do you have to complete all missions or something like that
Salvador456 you don’t have to complete every quest but you do need to complete quite a few and also after completing a few quests talk to a bunch of npc’s in that area as they might unlock another affinity link with someone else getting you closer to 5 stars
Klokkklkkllllllllllllllllllllllllllllll kkkklk
@@223salvador you can't really miss them they are on a timer though so if there not there change the time cycle and look again.
I'm wondering...
Do I have to unlock the Time Attack Challenges and Noponstone Items all over again, once I go into New Game Plus?
Is that the reason as to why I should buy all the Colony 6 Items, before I finish the game?
I have to say I'm very impressed by the lengths this community goes to minimise spoilers
I don't know why I thought about IGN.
We've known for the past 9 years how impactful each piece of the story is, so we've tried for the longest time to make sure everyone experiences it the same way.
The Xenoblade community is easily the most positive and wholesome out of any gaming community
True, but the wiki could learn a thing or two from the Fire Emblem wiki when it comes to spoiler notifications. Yes, the xenoblade wiki notifies you at the top of the page if there are spoilers on the page. But the Fire Emblem wiki has seperate expandable spoiler tags for every individual section with spoilers. You can go to the page about Claude and read about his early life without getting spoilers about, say, the ending of Verdant Wind, or about his appearance in other routes. Though the Fire Emblem wiki does have issues of its own (completely irrelevant videos most of the time (that's just a wikia standard from what I've seen), and it's generally recommendable to not follow the wiki's advice (why is there advice on a wiki in the first place? this isn't a guide!))
They only go to these lengths for one spoiler, the rest don't get the same treatment.
It’s worth noting that the arachno feeding ground can be completed the same way with every party member as long as they have a strong AoE.
As usual, every party member means not Sharla
Ay man capitilise on that "Gamer on the Rise" clout but man cant believe you got trending
I can't either honestly LOL

Congrats on not understanding satire.
Google rewards consistent channels by helping promote their videos. One of the factors they take into account is audience engagement so Enel must be doing a great job as a content creator
@@goldenknowledge5914 also it has a very appealing thumbnail that catches the eye
Getting to level 99 is something that’ll just happen when grinding AP and SP really, that takes much longer
i honestly got there simply grinding gear( didn't think to save scum chests)
Casual mode quite literally makes it so much easier, since fighting higher level enemies give you more exp than same level enemies, ye level up real quick. Best spot I farmed exp at was at the three sage summit, since the lv100 boss and the 2 other hunkos respawn there almost all the time and easy to access, only issue with that spot is it is also home to the lv120 Avalanche Abysaay, only during a blizzard tho
For EXP, put it on expert mode and drop your levels to 70 and also put the game on safety so you can easily hit enemies. Then go to the place in Tephra Cave you mentioned. Takes about an hour without EXP gems.
yeah casual mode is a thing I regularly forget about and I also have my pride hahaha. Good advice though!
I just got XC Definitive edition so what I beat the game I will go back and watch all your Previous videos
At 9:04 you've got 3 NPCs who aren't connected to the affinity web, video is literally unwatchable, unsubscribed
hahaha it doesn't require every link thankfully
Lmfao
Hahaha look at this gangsta
i counted 5, but damn, kuddos to you for taking the time to pause and count without being prompted like i was! i wouldn't have found any of them if not for your eagle eye!
I counted 15+ and also a missing npc
Congrats on Rising Creator
I'm so happy you're gaining subs! You deserve dude, you're the God of Xenoblade
*deserve it oops
Wait your reply is older than the first comment
Hes really U-DO in disguise
Enel is K**** confirmed
For fast EXP, apply the same method but in casual mode and with red ennemies
Casual mode basically erases ennemy evasion so you can kill lvl 99 ennemies while being lvl 70 without even sweating (ennemy damages also seems to be divided by 9 or 10) , but more than that, the casual mode gives an insane bonus XP for unknown reason, just after mechonis core you can directly rush to tephra cave and be lvl 99 in like, an hour or two of grinding ? It might be even less. The only downside is that you're now a "casul" (except we don't care so just do yourself a favor and activate the casual mode for farming it's way faster)
I have too much pride to use casual mode hahaha. It shouldn't be any extra bonus, red tag enemies give the same exp regardless but yeah you can make life easier by doing this.
That would be boring. I prefer to level up in thr normal way :-)
You can also use this method to kill difficult monsters startlingly early in the game. Especially if you cheese some kills by punting gogols off a cliff for super equips. You can actually do that as soon as you enter the area using casual mode, because their evasion will be actually manageable. Just play as Reyn and use Sword Drive instead of Melia's Spear Break.
You can *technically* do this in normal mode too, if you give Sharla no arts but Tranquilizer and just hope you get lucky, but that's so incredibly unreliable that it's barely worth it at all.
Probably the best Xenoblade content around at the moment :)
Thanks for the high quality content on this game, I appreciate it. I'm really happy your channel is growing it's really good.
They should’ve added more landmarks to this version. At least one more per map
Why do you think so? Just asking, I personally am fine with amount of landmarks in the game.
valak mountain shouldve had double the amount of landmarks honestly
IceDynamix I’d say triple.
Someone explain to me how that giant fortress in Satorl Marsh isn't a landmark.
The random shores and islands in Eryth Sea, Agora Shore in Colony 9, and so many other places definitely need landmarks. I mean, you can teleport to a random rock in Bionis’ Leg and a stupid cave with nothing in it in Eryth Sea, but you have to swim and run to places you’ll go back to a few times like Anu Shore?
I get why the makers of the game would preserve the original version’s travel locations, but they could have made the option to toggle new locations for players who want to save time (and don’t want to see 8/10 too much water).
YAY a gamer on the “gaming creator on the rise” Congrats!!!
"Riki's best weapon is the monopon" "just kidding it's the meteor nibbler"
You had me in the first half not gonna lie
Thank you so much for putting all this info together! I've played through before several times on Wii/3DS, but remembering the best weapons or leveling techniques etc. should I need them was something I definitely didn't do. Super useful and appreciated
Congrats Enel! I started watching your channel in the late summer of 2019 I think, and I absolutely fell in love with your content.
Thanks I really needed this guide, I was looking at your character trying to find what was the best weapons for everyone.
Another great video Enel :D what a gamer
Also that trick about buying and reloading for fashion gear is super useful :O
I was just debating whether I wanted to go to NG+ immediately or not. Glad I didn't, this video dropped at the perfect timing. Thank you so much!
Thanks man for the video. You always offer so much knowledge of the game. Congratulations on all of your new subscribers and being the creator on the rise.
What a coincidence, I'm right at the part where you get full control of your party back in chapter 17, meaning just when I'm able to do a lot of this. With the other guides done, this'll be a big help. Big thanks. yo.
Wow this video was perfectly timed for me as I just started the post game and was confused on what to do
Also for the smashing future achievement Sharla is actually amazing for this. Have a reyn or shulk with low level and armor but high agro fight something like a strong armu and when the future triggers use heal, then shield , then some Sharla damage arts to maybe attract agro, warn shulk, and tranquilizer shot and then maybe kill. That's like 6 future breaks for the price of one and I found that made this achievement much faster
One other thing: You may want to seek out and kill as many of the unique enemies, as, as far as i remember, they award their affinity coins once per playthrough while the ones you already had carry over. Meaning that in the end you get twice the ammount of affinity coins from Uniques
Congrats on the recognition from UA-cam. Keep up the awesome work
Enel congrats for being the creator on the rise keep up the great work!
im close to the end of my first playthrough and on the weekend i looked for videos that tell me what i should do before ng+ and i couldnd really find anything, and then i thought about to ask you enel when you post your next video and possible i could get an answer.
yeah and now i see this video
Thanks for all the videos man you are the best
Thank you, this really helps! This must have taken a long time so I just wanted you to know that we appreciate you :)
I just finished the game and I was wondering what I should do, perfect timing Enel
Congrats on trending and rising game creator. Your videos are always amazing.
The dedication you put in your videos is impressive, I really appreaciate it.
Thanks a lot man, It was very useful
Ur channel is on trending
Good job
Your Xenoblade content is absolutely amazing, very useful and informative for many people who trying this game for the first time. I'm really liked your guides. Some of your XC2 guides helped me a lot and now you show us some really nice tips in XCDE for every character and it's amazing because I would like to try some things with Sharla on NG+ now. Thank you for your guides! \o
Sharla is awesome!:)
5:29 "All the others can be accomplished in a decent amount of time." I think my mans is forgetting Craftstravaganza. Worst achievement ever.
Perfectly timed guide I’m currently finishing up before new game plus. Keep up the awesome content!
Thanks Enel. Congratulations on Rising Creator.
Its hard for me to put in words just how useful your guides have been.
Major props
if you want to keep all 6 monado replicas, pick the one that was easiest to get (that wasnt Replica Monado) when you beat the final boss. you'll need to do the quest again, because monado 3 replaces your current replica
Very good point at 7:58. When starting NG+, the items for Colony 6 reconstruction will not be available until you reach Prison Island for the second time again, so basically you can find yourself stuck if you want to level it up all the way to 5 before the final dungeon.
I didn't do it before beginning my NG+ but luckily I happened to find the 2 ice cabbages by simply exploring and doing a bunch of quests in Valak Mountain. Currently back in Galahad Fortress, I like taking my time and level myself down compared to the ennemies (I use the equipment I gather as well).
Great game, and great content about it coming from you :D
And with that, I'm all set for another run through this beautiful world. This has been most helpful, thanks.
Glad to see you put up this guide. I wanted to get the 4th skill tree before Mechanis Field. Thanks for the guide.
Update: Everything is sadness and I feel empty. Agniratha onward hit hard.
@@nsbathomelol
Excellent video as per usual. I'm very close to finishing the game and will do a lot of this extra stuff to stretch out my play time a bit before beating the final boss. I'll probably save NG+ for another time though when i revisit the game.
I was having a bitch of a time trying to do quests and get the additional skill trees without looking at a guide. I bit the bullet and decided to watch this video and now it all makes sense. the 4th tree sounds pretty reasonable for most characters so I can see myself at least doing those.
The exact video I was looking for. You’re the bomb diggity Enel!!
Great video Enel! Might I suggest a video on things you should do before Mechonis Core, and a video of what to do when you start/playthrough new game+. I believe both of those would be great videos and the community would use them a lot.
Congrats Enel! Been watching you a very long time as you rose with xeno 2 content and have been watching every xcde vid, congrats on being trending
I just beat Abaasy yesterday for the first time, thanks so much for all the guides!
I beat avalanche abbasey first try when I got to super boss hunting thanks to your guides, glad to see the channel grow 👏
Amaizing video, really helpful for a newcomer for this game :)
Nice~ I’ve pretty much everything now and just grinding Noponstones and AP to get every art to level 12. Been getting a bit bored that I might just jump into NG+ since the main art set that everyone uses is already maxed out.
***internal screaming***
I've barely done any side quests as I was playing through the game and I'm almost at the end now. Gonna have to go back and complete them all I guess for all the achievements, arts, and skill tress. Thanks for this Enel.
The main game and future connected was fun. Just gonna grind to level 99 later for the super bosses. They look fun.
Gaming Creator on the Rise... he did it bois
8:19 I did a new game plus recently to collect affinity coins and found out that the Nopon Archsage won’t have their Colony 6 reconstruction stock in the beginning of the new game plus run. This means that you will unfortunately have to go to the last time attack portal (located at Gondorl Catherdral in Prison Island) in the game to gain access to Colony 6 reconstruction stuff
yeah hence why I suggested buying it before NG+
Hey Enel, big fan of the Xenoblade stuff you’ve been doing. I’ve played the original back on the wii on accident before I knew about the hype with Rainfall while trying to look for another game to kill time with. You think It’d be a cool idea to talk in depth about the replicas? I know they’re different with their own stats, and if anything it would more than likely be a short vid, but if you got an empty space for an idea would you consider that for a future vid? Thanks you! Again big fan!
3:28 oh yeah i forgot that hitting multiple enemies in this game does... that...
The hidden skill trees guide will be useful, thanks!
Man..mad respect to anyone doing all this for completion. You won't catch me doing a quarter of this lmao
the life of a completionist is a curse, but i do get my money's worth out of JRPGs.
I literally was planning on rushing through my first playthrough and start NG+ asap since it resets everything... Yet here I am and have 100%ed many aspects (like party and area affinity and Colony 6) of my first playthrough just because I couldn't resist getting all the stuff I could get my hands on 😂 What's wrong with me...
Completionist or not, if you play a xenoblade game you play to max out everything haha
Casual Mode has helped so much, I was able to grind from LV 78 to 92 in six hours! The Glory and Gloria Slobos were easy cash (EXP) cows.
LOL, given how much they push casual mode into your face I'm honestly surprised I haven't tried it out even once yet, might do for easy grinding now. Does it also make AP grinding easier?
DragonEdge10 I don’t think it boosts anything you just kill enemies way faster and it’s near impossible to die
@@somethingofascientist7084 You know how you usually can't hit enemies 6 LVs above you? That's gone in casual mode
JedgamesGUY oh I didn’t notice that, thanks for the info!
@@DragonEdge10 used casual mode to get past the annoying Xord fight...
Is mayonnaise an instrument?
Casual mode can let you do the spider farm before 80 if you want to power level up to 99. Just max run speed with Shulk, use Shulk/Reyn/Dunban with the highest damage weapon you have and an attack plus gem. You can run fast enough to avoid taking any hits before you start doing chain attacks. The casual mode removes the agility penalty for being under-leveled, and they don't have a lot of HP so they die quickly but give tons of exp, and killing an enemy in casual mode gives you 2 bars of party meter, so 2 kills is enough to instantly chain attack again.
I didn't want to play on casual hahaha
The Daze Counter Spike Spider that was a mandatory unique monster kill for Fioras 5th skill tree was the one that i farmed for affinity .
by having the controlled character immun to daze , and always helping the other 2 characters in the party.
14:02 I fought the unique monster that had the daze counter spike without any daze resist gems. I learned that if you command your allies to come close to you, they instantly help you out of daze.
Good strategy!
my guy i'm impressed by the amount of time you spent on this having to look for and talk to EVERY NAMED npc is gonna be a pain but i thank you for the insight on all of this i been wondering how to get the other skill trees for a while hopefully i can still do some of the stuff as i'm already in CP17
Thank you! :3
You’re trending! Just remember us when you become famous
King of Xenoblade content. Always with the most in depth guides helping me out since XC2 came out here's hoping for the X port.
Thanks, probably gonna do all this on my new game plus run though
Your guides are A1. I picked up all 3 xenoblade games for the switch (wasnt easy to find XC2) and this one...the story is very well done, hope the other 2 are just as good or better.
What I personally do when I reach a new place is to use trade with the named NPCs, but not really for trade but to register then in the chart without triggering convos.
That's just me tho, since I like to be organized with the chart xD
(Also, thank you for the videos you do, it will definently help a lot of people, keep going!)
Damn wish this was out before I got halfway through ng+
Thanks a bunch!
Thanks for this! How nice of you to release this video on the same day that I beat the game, did you have a vision of my victory or was it perhaps foresight? ...actually nvm aren't they the same thing?
Wow this video had alot of content gj
Thanks Enel, you must have saw the future that I was lost before finishing final boss and posted this guide on the same day to save me. Cheers!
I still haven't cleared the main game and I shiver thinking how many side quests I have left. Ursula's quest was *enjoyable* in comparison with these.
When I first played Xenoblade I didn't even know about the extra skill trees, so this time around I became determined to get them, but some of the gates you have to get through ...
Hey! Congrats for "gaming creator on the rise"! I was wondering, which gameplay do you prefer between XC:DE and XC2?
Xc2 has my favorite combat system of all time so i'd have to go with that. I really like the gameplay of all the games in the series though
At least the rewards from missions are worthy the New Game+. To be able to get A or B reward in a quest is nice and promotes the NG+. I still have tons of things to do in my first playthrough though.
Completely forgot to get that staff lol
I'm thinking about rearranging my monada arts to have the offensive and defensive one on opposite sides but I'm used to the way it is by default
I waited to do new game + because I knew this was coming.
For Happy New Year, you can also leave your game running for a week
This video has been incredibly helpful but I’m stumped on “roots across the world”. I have affinity maxed out at every location in the game, is there method you recommend using to more quickly find out who I need to talk to in order to do every quest for an area if I haven’t already? Just trying to save myself from literally talking to every NPC in the game
Wow Xenoblade Chronicles definitive edition looks clean this is an upgrade to the previous game I never thought it would show buffs that you get or affinity change looks clean really
That guy with the long hair; that's Dunban over there!
To grind the 500 revives achievement I putted reyn and shulk level 1 and controlled fiora with speed shift for the crits and the skill that gain half a bar when 2 allies are down, went to spiral valley UM Immovable Gonzales, his spike will kill shulk and reyn instantly just keep autoattacking and revive only 1 of the 2 everytime to get the half bar refill. I think it was a decent strategy if anyone wanna grind it fast.
Yeah, that sounds like it would be a great strat!
I got the 500 revive achievement pretty quick by playing Riki against Avalanche Abaasy with Dunban and anyone else as the other two members without any debuff resistance. The third member goes down to the instant death, and then Dunban second (since he has better agility to ensure he gets the hit that kills him each time) while Riki keeps on standing over Dunban's body reviving him. The skill tree node that gives party gauge when two members are incapacitated was active, meaning that every time Dunban went down, the gauge used was refreshed for a very quick cycle of Dunban killing himself, adding the meter, and getting revived over just a few seconds. Riki is sturdy enough to survive with his abilities, but if you do eventually go down, Riki has Happy Happy to get right back into the grind from the respawn.
are you going to make a guide on finding the level 8-10 art manuals? they’ve been a pain to find and a guide would be really useful
I wanted to drop a quick question since I figured you might be the one that can answer it: am I correct in assuming the Ledios Arms with a gem slot are the rarest item in the game apart from the Monado? :D If so, do you consider it to be worth it getting them in each consecutive playthrough (since you can only get one of them each time)? :)
Nearing the end of game for first time. I really don’t know anything about Future Connected. Do I do that before NG+ or does it not matter?
Honestly for Happy New Year I'm just gonna leave my switch to run on the lowest settings when I go to bed.
I just need the last "Other" object from the Collectopedia to finish almost everything I want, so I'll have to reach 99 and farm superbosses now. Then I can finally go to the End of the game so I can start Future Connected. It's been so much fun thanks to the trackers for missions, although Colony 6 reconstruction is still a bit of a pain if you don't want to use Challenge Mode.
I´m so dumb when I was doing the side quests to get monado eater (about 1 month ago )I completed it, and didn´t unlock it, so I gave up and TODAY I realised I didn´t open the thing to get it.
I have a question. Lets say I missed a lot of the timed quests on my first play through. Can I still get all the skill trees before ng+? I'd like to max all my affinity and skill trees before I go for a real 100% play through because I know I've missed plenty.
Fashion stuff also carries over both ways from Future Connected.
So I’m probably 90% of the way into the story for my first-time playthrough, and I’ve barely touched any of the systems like gems and skills. I’ve only played as Shulk. At this point, am I good to just wait until end-game to dive into all the systems and characters?
Only your equipped gems and equipment carry over in NG+ right? Any recommendations on what the best gems are for each character and what to carry over in that regard?
Small actually super tiny time saver but you can just open the tomb to get eater during the final step of the quest. Instead of traveling back after talking to the quest giver
