Christopher Seay- Tuba- Undergraduate Recital 4/25/2021
Переглядів 2893 роки тому
Happy but never satisfied :) Take a listen to the culmination of my undergraduate studies as a Music Education major at Western Carolina University! I truly would be nothing without the special individuals and mentors along the way. The entire recital was unaccompanied in conjunction with the WCU Tuba/Euphonium Quartet (Euphoniums: Justin Taylor, Jonathan Amar; Tubas: Christopher Seay, Keland R...

My view for the summer. Yeehaw Enjoy I apologize for the shakiness, it wasn't as tight on my head as it should've been and it almost didn't work for the run, so I was in a panic to get it running.
Every Carolina Crown Tuning Hit from 2011-2017- Score
Переглядів 47 тис.6 років тому
I got bored and decided to do some ear training so that's about the only inspiration. This is the "score" for all versions of every year from 2011 to 2017. BTW- 2012 is jacked up because it didn't sound right without the trills. Forgive me. Anywho, credit is due. Here are the links to all of said incredible tuning impacts. 2017- Little Fugue: ua-cam.com/video/NzINHB2IFXk/v-deo.html 2017- Mellop...

Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 4 movement 4 "Finale" full music score- Charlotte Civic Orchestra

I apologize for not uploading much lately. I still have multiple railfanning videos to collaborate and upload. On a non-train related note, but on a musical note (no pun intended), I have recently been to a few orchestral performances. This pass sunday, February 15, 2015, the Charlotte Civic Orchestra did a love themed performance of two of Tchaikovsky's pieces: Romeo and Juliet and Symphony No...

This was a great way to start 2015 railfanning! Norfolk Southern heritage engine #1066 SD70ACe "New York Central" heads north. There's also an extra empty autorack train to Spartanburg. Here are the trains and the times: NS 25G 0:07 NS 204 2:20 Thanks for watching! There are two more good videos I still have to upload.

I apologize for not uploading. I have gotten many amazing catches so far this year! As the last day of 2014, this was a pretty decent day of railfanning. I've tried a different video format so if you want a specific train, here is the train number, time of the video, and anything interesting on the train: NS 204 0:07 NS 750 2:18 -10 mph, SD70M-2, jointed rail (click clack) and slack NS 213 11:5...
Taking off from Toncontin International airport in Tegucigalpa, Honduras
Переглядів 3629 років тому
Sorry for the video. This was taken by a friend on our mission team. A little history on Tegucigalpa: Toncontin international airport in Tegucigalpa, Honduras is recognized as history channel's #3 most dangerous airport in the world. Pre-2004 it was #2. Due to the altitude, mountains, constant wind and turbulence, unpredictable weather patterns, surroundings, and length of runway, it was recogn...

I just had to hit pause to soak it all in. Goosebumps! As a west coaster. Experiencing this is now on my bucket list. A dci fan for 40 plus years.

:44 is that brown note lol.
It was at that moment, half those kids knew they would never make it 🤣
Dude 2011 was the BEST
oh my god the echo of the space was crazy !!!
It sounds like the Mello phone gets lost in the score. Hard to hear it.
The first 2017 hit just has so much emotion in it
6:46 yes indeed
Uncle ruckus theme song
I was at the 2015, 15, and 17 Summer Symposium at Ball State! We also got to learn accompanying drill to the opener of their show, and perform it with them at the DCI show at the end of the week. It was awesome, everyone who took a video of being in the circle was playing it non stop in the dorms that night. It was a crazy fun opportunity, I'd go back to high school again just to do Summer Symposium again.
Jabba the Hutt and Uncle Ruckus. Lol.
I have spent a year trying to hit the note are 0:44 it is fantastic
Oh My God!
Under the surface bruther
I've played one of your guys' tubas from this year. I was going to camps for Buccaneers 2020 and we used your horns, until covid hit.
It’s literally a dream of mine to sit in a crown circle.
Wow found this in my recommended went to school with him great player all round always looked up to him
I can't get enough of these videos!! And this band!
Good lord TUBAS
If only my highschool played these tuning sequences
I want to live in that circle
Yoooooooooo
Hey, I'm a high-school Tuba player and I'm looking for help and information about Crown and was wondering I'd there's any way I could contact you with questions and things!
Message me on Facebook! Same name :)
That low end is almost as moving as "The God Chord." Great sound from Carolina's Crown...Matt Harloff.
My head is spinning from all the key changes
0:44 I mean... damn. Y'all had me at tubas.
I dont watch porn, I watch carolina crowns tuning exercises
What's the difference?
@@bennourie3377 One is for the EARS...LOL.

8:27. You’ll thank me later
Hey so I know this vid is very old but I play tuba and was just wondering does it hurt to march one of those tubas because I’ve only marched susaphones
3:26 ✋🍑💥
I also railfan and march. Nice.
Dci: the only type of marching arts where someone can make a ligma joke out loud
Oh hey Chris
I'm a contra in a high school marching band right now, and watching these videos, inspire me so much , like i cant wait till i can join a dci
If you’re looking to march this upcoming summer, we still have hornline spots at Troopers
And God said on the last day before he decided to rest I just realized I forgot something... and he created the Carolina Crown horn line
That cut off is so clean you could eat thanksgiving dinner off of it
That cutoff is so clean you could cut the edge of a piece of paper with it.

@@chikentenderz24 surprisingly nothing more than some bell taps happened! 1 step intervals were something no one wanted to mess up lol
0:44 gives me chills every time
What kind of gloves do you use to not affect silver finish on those yamaha contras?
Mechanix and baseball gloves are popular choices.
My son is a fellow tuba player at South Point. He is looking at a Mack Brass C tuba. We had heard you had experience with them, any advice or recommendations?
Oh my goodness, hello! It depends on how committed he is to continue playing, as well as the factor of him liking how the horn plays. I recommend going something like the Tuba Exchange in Raliegh to actually try out different horns. I think it's an okay horn, however, I am quickly finding out that it is definitely not the most professional-grade horn that can be played with. Of course I am not saying some of the issues are not me, I am nowhere near a perfect player, I am simply implying that there are limitations to the horn that would potentially hinder certain aspects of professional development. If he is just looking for a C horn to play on, I say go for it! My Mack C has definitely served me well through high school and early college years.
Any idea who owns the B&O Streamliner?
