- Wabash F7 1189 takes a spin on the turntable.
This locomotive was built in 1953 by GM Diesel Ltd. in London, Ontario with 1,500 HP from a 567-B 16-cylinder prime mover.
This unit was the last F7 purchased by Wabash and the last to be produced out of London, Ontario. It spent most of its career on the Wabash and N&W working between Fort Erie, Ontario and Buffalo, NY. After retirement it returned to active servie at the Monticello Railway Museum.

Thanks for posting. That's my son waving from the firemans side. He was having a blast!
Thanks! I'm sure he had the time of his life and bragging rights to go with it!
